True, however I'm a bit disappointed of the final bosses. They were most definitely rushed. I personally like the original X8 Sigma battle more (it feels better, in the demake true Sigma is just a wild beast and it doesn't fit) and Lumine 1st form doesn't even get the chance to create the blizzard, the orbital laser and the burning walls at once. Lumine 2nd is funnier but still I enjoyed the fiery mazes of the original Lumine 2nd. Which are also not included. Combine the whole demake with the final bosses of the original and we would have the perfect X8
Yes !! Play the 8 demake and make videos in it ! I think it fits this channel very well :) it will allow this channel to progress into a direction that isn't just old mm games :)
Disagree on the X6 spikes, there's a lot of spike sections on the trash compactor stage that require a frame perfect jump if you're playing as vanilla X. So those take the cake for me 😂
@@yahiko7701 yeah but unlike the gaea armor you can use powerups you get from rescued reploids which makes it possible to play every stage (if played smart) with the shadow armor. ik i did that i went to each stage got the armors and died without killing the bosses to return to the stage select then went through the stages with just the shadow armor
I haven't watched yet, but since we're here, I eagerly await "the best spikes in X1 through X8" and especially "the most medium spikes in X1 through X8".
When are you going to continue the "No dash challenge"? In my opinion, it was entertaining to see you struggle & overcome. With commentary and all, I'm *sure* some other viewers also liked that content.
The spikes in Rainy Turtloid level are probably designed to be used with the Blade Armor since you have a suspended air dash and can line up your air dash. You can not even have the Shadow Armor to ignore the spikes since a Shadow Armor part is found in the stage itself. Also i would actually like to see the X8 de-make being played by you. That would be a fun time to watch :D
The stupidest spike in X6 has to be the starting point of Gate Stage 1. The Raining Turtloid spikes are a challenge for players to maneuver carefully, but being smart with the bat enemies around can neat you both the Reploid and the upgrade capsule without even using Air Dash. The spikes in Gate 1? You can unlock the final levels without even acquiring a single piece of upgrade, acquiring a single Part or even defeating a single boss, yet you simply cannot proceed on that stage with X unless you have the Shadow Armor, the Jumper Parts or the ice weapon, so you are required to get upgrades the game states you don't need in order to progress. And if you decide to go with the Shadow Armor, which is the most optimal method of dealing with spikes, well, you know what is waiting for you at the end of Gate Stage 2, which takes place immediately after GS1 and doesn't allow you to trade your build, so you are locked to what you had at the start of GS1. Now you need the Jumper Part for the Shadow Armor, but you wouldn't need Shadow if you had used the Jumper Part to overcome the spikes in the first place, making this spike the most stupid of the game!
Sigma-Stage 2 has a stupid spike where it looks like that you can't pass: golem blocking the top, and spike belows. But because X7 dashes continue off a platform, that's the way you get past.
I could honestly say that X8 in general just has a severe spike problem, but aside from the infamous spike block room, I'd say that Inferno, Troia Base, Sigma Palace and the rest of Primrose also have incredibly stupid and egregious spikes. I guess I can give Sigma Palace a pass since, again, it's the final stage, but.... that doesn't explain the other three... Troia Base has them in tandem with bottomless pits, too! I hate that section of the stage so much. Actually, I just hate that stage in general. You wouldn't think X8 is my favorite from how much I complain about it, but-
Nah, the stupid spikes in the sigma stages that you have to either get all of the upgrades and find a lot of the repolids to save or you have to play as Zero to double jump, in X6, is the stupidest spike in at least mmx6, though I agree that those bats having spikes in X5 is just asinine.
X2's X Hunter 2 (Serges) had that right path made of spikes above the boss room. As far as I could tell, it served no purpose. I think it had a 1 up at the end of it? I don't remember
Funny thing about Sting Chameleon; would spikes on the walls AND ceiling somehow make it LESS stupid? At least it would be more consistent nd thematic. That idea has me wondering why they (AFAIK) never did that in a boss fight.
Next video idea: The stupidest Gabyoalls from every Classic/X game (They are all stupid of course but there's gotta be one that traumatized generations in every games)
For X5 i always die to those stupid spikes from that Egyptian boss Oingo Boingo, or whatever his name is from Sigma's castle, level 2.
You mean Rangda Bangda- nah you know what its name is Oingo Boingo now.
Oingo Boingo 😭
I challenge X2's entry:
The "Wheel Gator Psycho Crusher leaves behind an instant kill spike in the boss match" spike is the dumbest of X2's.
Please play X8 demake, it was a wild game, fixed a lot of x8 level issues

Thanks for acknowledging the stupid spike-forming monster in X3. Just more X3 jank!
the mega man x8 demake is the best mega man fan game period.
Yeah, it's really interesting
Dude, Gaea Armor? X6 doesn't even have the Gaea Armor, it has the Shadow Armor.
It still has the same passive ability as the gaea armor. So it was a slip of the tongue oh well

@@azurephantom100 good for you? I’m just talking about the passive the two have where they can walk over spikes, which is what this video is about

It's been a bit since I've seen (or been recommended) any of your videos, so I'm really pleased to see you're still cranking them out.
If it's stupid and it works, is it stupid?

That was rude and disrespectful.
