  • Firs drive around Carriacou, Grenada after Hurricane Beryl. This was shot the day after #HurricaneBeryl made #landfall in #carriacou #grenada
We were driving around the island doing damage surveys, stopping in certain places to allow people to use our starlink to make first contact with familes and capturing drone video. We are hoping families are able to get clues to family members or homes.

Thanks for sharing the actual shots of the results. This is the best, and only that I know of, source for video of what the place looks like now. Much better than all the melodrama from “News“ outlets.

this is the highest quality reporting i've seen of the aftermath. Yall are maniacs for running into a hurricane on an island, but heroes for it too.

We are praying for this whole island. Should be receiving aid very soon. This is 100% total devastation on the vegetation and 98% total building damage. Thank God you didn’t loose more lives. Please help these people.

Have they received any aid yet? I'm always amazed at how complicated it seems to be when it comes to delivering help! I hope they get the help they so badly need and are not overlooked in favor of the bigger islands! Thank you for both being there and putting the spotlight on their community!!!

I'm seeing some insensitive comments, no one chooses where they're born, beryl eye was very large and carriacou fitted directly into the eye, i saw that on the radar, there was no escape from 150 wind speed, beryl is moving fast and she developed into major hurricane in 42hrs, those islands had less time to get materials to board up, i also saw in the video walls crash down so concrete is also no match for a powerful storm, the structures standing are just lucky. Help is already arriving but it have to be distributed in a coordinated effort, some people already left the island for shelter elsewhere. To my colleagues at princess royal hospital, stand strong and everyone else be safe things will eventually get better. Forward ever backward never.🇬🇩🇨🇦❤💚💛

As a seasoned disaster medical officer..I have seen the horrible destruction of hurricanes. It when it hits these island it beyond sad as help is so slow in the recovery. I do psychological intakes and I already know this is going to have long term consequences on the psyche. But the resilience of these people will heal and rebuild.

We face a revolution, an invasion, oppression we are the heart of resilience. Hurricane Ivan devastation, Emily come we stand up strong, Beryl come we didn't back down. We go make it yeah, we will beat this thing together. Grenadians our belly skin tight as ever, we are loud, we are proud and we are a resilient people. Lets rise as a people and dust ourselves off.

Although it is heartbreaking to view; the coverage shows the level of devastation that the island endured. Thanks for sharing the video with the rest of the world.
