I have the older model system that I purchased from Eric at the Hershey Show and I have to say that I never had a problem out of it. I had to replaced the batteries in the sensors after two years of use but other then that. It works flawlessly. I highly recommend a TPMS for your car or RV.
We are new to RVing and just purchased a Micro Minnie 2108TB FLX which says it is TPMS prepped. Not sure what that means from Winnebago but thanks Robert for the great video. I drove a big rig over the road for 30+ years so I know the benefit of the TPMS. An under inflated tire will overheat and not only compromise that tire but stress out the other tires. Having a reliable TPMS is a valuable tool to have on your dashboard. A new RV'er has LOTS of accessories to invest in but this will definitely be our next purchase.
They are not cheap, but if you sherd a tire it will cost you dearly. It may help you ovoid an accident. It's easy to overlook your tire pressure if you are not monitoring it.
Hi Robert ! My husband and I want to buy a RV but we don't know how to even start looking ! Sounds silly but it's true since we recently moved to Miami, also how to find first where to park and stay at the keys? I will appreciate that so much!!!!
Aida Giusti good decision..minitini is one of the best.
Nice logo change!!!!
Robert como puedo comprar un pullover como el que estás usando?
freeinmyrv.com ahi solo tengo la original. En estos dias voy a poner mas
GOOD info, Robert :) :) "Thank you" sir !
Hey Robert, you haven't made a video about your new truck, how you like it and whatnot, why?
I made the video, but it is yet to be edited... I will finish it soon.
@@TravelingRobert Great, be looking forward to watch it
👍👍
If a sensor stops sending a signal, does the display show a blank for that sensor or does it hold the information of a previous reading? Thanks for your videos.
It's never happened with this unit but for safety reasons it should read blank. My previous unit sounded an alarm.
Thanks. I was watching Chris at Technomadia and he told about one from TireTracker and one from Pacific dualies that showed stale data and as you mentioned, not very safe.
I just ordered a 10 cap TPMS from TecknoRV using your link above in hopes you will get a commission. Thanks for your quick reply to my question as I know you spend a lot of time filming and editing and creating the musical background soundtrack that you produce for your videos yet you take time to communicate with the public. Thank you Robert
What kind of warranty do you have on Colorado? I pay an extra $33 a month for bumper-to-bumper coverage on a used 2014 Dodge Journey it covers the engine, transmission, the motors in the windows, the electronics in the dash and I even have Roadside Assistance.
I just have the factory warranty. Bumper to bumper 3 years, and the 5 years powertrain
You make RV travel look easy and enjoyable. You encourage me to use my travel trailer to the fullest extent.
It is not always perfect but most of the time is certainly enjoyable
Robert great video is always, looks like a very good TPMS I have another idea for a video for you it is called the Tyson
Rv sway control system it's electric and works with your brakes on your rv it would be interesting if you could review it have a good day
I'm in the market for a new hitch, so maybe I will
nice truck, will you still be buying a class c in the future.Pinocchio and Mini Tini sounds like a match made in heaven...
I think I'm going to keep Minitini for at least 3 more years...then a small C or B+ or maybe even a B
My TST system always takes about 2 minutes to initially recognize the sensors. I have a Class C.
OK, glad to know it is normal.
How is the truck pulling the rv compared to the KIA? I am curious ps love your channel
Thank you! The truck tows much better as expected. I am producing a series about that right now.
Fall, winter and spring in Miami is in January...everything else is summer ;-)
That's true... February can be nice sometimes too
Love your channel, what kind of truck did you replace Kia with ?
Thank you! Chevy Colorado, 2WD V6
Thanks for the review Robert! I like your T-shirt...... "Fly Pelican, Fly". Maybe a Pelican song in the future?
Maybe... I have to go the Keys to get inspired :-)
@@TravelingRobert always your best videos.....When "the Pelican fly's"🚐
Goooood morning Robert! I enjoy watching your travel videos, and I also enjoy watching your reviews of food and products. The system you reviewed looks very informative. It is amazing at the pace technology is moving. I heard you mention your trip to the Keys. I know that you went there for video of you in the Colorado on the Seven Mile Bridge, but did you make a travel video while you were there? Fly pelican fly!
Yes I did, a short one but I got some beautiful shots. I will be at least two weeks until I can release it though
Oh wonderful! We can't wait to see it. Have a great Friday Robert, and thank you for your great videos.
Thank you!
Does it have a specific way to monitor the spare tire? It looks like they only sell it in 4 or 6 sensors, does the display have a location for the spare tire?
It can monitor up to 38 tires, so you would just have to buy an extra sensor, and assign you spare to one of the available slots on the monitor
@@TravelingRobert I do see that they sell individual sensors. Is there a dedicated location on the display for the spare though? Like on the rear of the trailer, or would you just have to assign it to a random location on an axle on the display?
Robert, are you going to the RV show in Palm Beach County this weekend??
Not going to be able too.... that was my first RV show too, some ten years back
@@TravelingRobert too bad, it will be our first RV show, since it`s close to our home. I`m excited!
@@dimplezdimples8451 Enjoy!
We have a TPMS system but not that one. It works very well and I won’t travel with out one again. That one looks to be a little more compact. I’m surprised you can pair the monitors without them being on the tires. I have enough technology on my dash so I mounted mine on my console. I am considering mounting it in the back window. The alarm is audible enough to alert me to any problem. I strapped my repeater to the underside of the battery tray so it was very easy to run power for it. If you are concerned with parasitic draw from the repeater a couple of quick connects in the wires fixes that.
That's where I am going to put the repeater as well. Never travel without a TPMS again
Are you going to rv super show in Tampa in January?????????
Not this year. Going to be in Arizona
@@TravelingRobert Ok....see you next time....have an excellent time in Arizona
@@TravelingRobert that's great we will be too in AZ, ANY WHERE near Phoenix ?
Hey Robert how about giving us a walk-around tour of your truck ?
Oh, that's coming soon
are you going to quartzite
Yes, I want to see at least part of the RTR and the RV show. Probably no more than a week though.
