Nah. Big max fan, but you gotta give that to Lewis his first season. That was really crazy.

When looking solely at the races, Hamilton impressed me the most. But when considering age, single seater experience, amount of testing, and tire knowledge (Hamilton was the only one who had experience from his gp2 days, with the new introduced tires). I have to give it to Verstappen.

I would have liked to see Max in Lewis’ rookie season car considering what Max did in that Torro Rosso…..

The best debut season ever considering the car (clearly not a race winning car, let alone a championship winning car) and all the DNF’s !

Max has been training since he was four years old. His Mom and dad were race-legends.. ( genetics might play a role..) I can't see anyone beat him for years to come.

Lewis rookie debut was absolutely sensational, for me the best debut year. Max brought real racing back. They were all crying and complaining about him because they were not used to fighters anymore 😅

I'm gonna be very honest here, i don't think verstappen is the 'best' driver. I think he is the fastest driver 100% and the most consistent atm. If that , to you, means that he is the best than it's a valid argument. But overal i think his racecraft leaves a bit to be desired. I think after 2021 he has gotten way too aggressive again just like 2017-2018. He just let loose and now he just adopted it again. It's what i like about him, he is sensational and is entertaining as a driver and person.
