I met one of my subscribers Rob about 10 months ago. He sold everything and moved to Thailand on an OA visa. I always get a lot of questions asking what Rob is up to? So it’s been one year and we are going to catch up with him and see what he has been doing.

My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in Law Enforcement. I wanted to retire young enough to be able to do some of the things I always dreamed about! I knew I wanted to travel extensively and retire somewhere warm and exotic I sampled a ton of places in the Caribbean, Panama, Colombia, Turkey but set my sights on Thailand. In 2020 I met Fai on a Tinder date and we hit it off immediately. We have been inseparable ever since!
I started making videos as a hobby but now it is more like a passion.

Good update and scenery. I am like Rob retired and sold everything and in Thailand now but not ready to settle in here until I do more travel to other countries which is challenging
Very challenging right now. I think when things open back up Rob will do some more international exploring as will I.

I kind of like the high rise condo complex..I rent one in Montreal with indoor pool,semi private gym,rooftop terrace and lounge with pool table for $2100. Obviously no ocean view..How much would this run for in Phuket ?
Not really high rises in Phuket but for 1k you could get an amazing place
Rob, definitely a minimalist guy. I like how you interview, it's very tactical but very Greeny classic style. I enjoyed it. I would avoid all places with hippies and dreadlocks.

Pai was amazing if you like the outdoors. Lots of things to do. Hiking, tubing, mountains. If you like the water I loved Koh Tao. Really cool vibe there

My daughter and I rode in a train car similar to the one he was on. We were on our way to Buriram to visit my daughter’s grandmother. What an adventure…summer, 10+ hour trip and no air. My daughter enjoyed it which was a plus.

We were in Pai. Now I’m heading to Bang Saray and he is headed to Phuket
Hey Greeny nice interview with Rob.... one thing I am curious about, does Rob intend to make Thailand his forever home or will he also travel around the world and spend time in other countries as he has done with Thailand this past year?
I thinks when things open up he will travel more internationally.
He's in great shape, though the last thing I would ever do is ride a bicycle on Thailand streets. That takes balls.

Summertime. As long as the pool, gym and restaurants are open I’m fine. Bars, motor events and most other things don’t really effect me.

No. It’s a great base. I really just have too much stuff and need a base.
