An old English version of the passage reads, "But that day and hour no man maketh known, neither the angels which are in Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." This is the correct reading, according to several of the ablest critics of the age. The word know is used in the same sense here that it is by Paul, in 1 Corinthians 2:2: "For I determined not to know make known anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." Men will not make known the day and hour, angels will not make it known, neither will the Son; but the Father will make it known.
Says Campbell: "Macknight argues that the term know is here used as a causative, in the Hebrew sense of the conjugation hiphil , that is, to make known ..... His Christ's answer is just equivalent to saying, The Father will make it known when it pleases him; but he has not authorized man, angel, or the Son, to make it known. Just in this sense, Paul uses the term know : 1 Corinthians 2:2: 'I came to you making known the testimony of God; for I determine to make known nothing among you but a crucified Christ.' "
Albert Barnes, in his Notes on the Gospels, says: "Others have said that the verb rendered knoweth means sometimes to make known, or to reveal, and that the passage means, 'that day and hour none maketh known, neither the angels, nor the Son, but the Father.' It is true the word has sometimes that meaning, as 1 Corinthians 2:2."

There is much in the writings of E.G. White that is unbiblical.
Examples:
1. Was the plan of salvation made before or after the fall?

How can the fourth commandments be more important than the first ,second, third commandments all SDA has been decive because they do not know the controversy is about who you worship and who is your God that appoints a day as a covenant between him and his children. they have made us believe it's Sunday vs Saturday ( deception)

We as Adventists agree with you in that the main issue is worship. It is not so much about the day, but who your authority is, and who you worship. Is it God who you worship, or the beast? This is the question that revelation brings forth.
However, what we do say is that the Sabbath will be one of the main factors that differentiates those who worship God and those who worship the beast. The beast has said that Sunday is the "mark of [their] authority". The seal of God that is upon His people is found in the 4th commandment, for the seal is any ruler must denote their name, title, and dominion of rule. Only the Sabbath commandment defines all three of those aspects of the law giver.

The question was how to reconcile the words of Jesus and the words of Ellen White regarding knowing the day and hour of Christ's coming. He plainly stated that we do not know when Christ will come, but we will be able to discern when He is near, even at the door. He then builds upon the signs that we look for to know when He is near. Sounds like a completely satisfactory answer to me!

Dear Sir, The disciples gathered to meet for worship on the first day of the week ! It’s the principle of, one day of “rest” in seven, that’s important !

The Son of Man has returned and the world is now waiting for a day when this Son of Man will be revealed. The world does not know who the Son of Man is.(Luke 17:30; Rom 8:19) This Son of Man is not ONE person but a group of men chosen among the blood descendants of Israel (Jacob) to rule the earth.(Dan 7:13,14,26,27; Rev 7:1-8; 11:14:1-5) Jesus was not talking about his return in Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 17 and 21; but he was talking about the advent or the return of the Son of Man which represents the Kingdom of Heaven in earth.(Luke 17:20,30) Matt 24:3 is corrupted just compare it with the same questions asked in Mark 13:4; Luke 17:20; 21:7
Of course in Matthew 24, Jesus was talking about his return, the disciples asked about His return and the end of the world and of course it is not corrupted. If that was the case then the whole chapter would be corrupted as well, but that is not the case. There are many others verses which testify that verse 3 is valid:
Matthew 24:3 KJV "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"
Matt 24:27, 37, 39 "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also THE COMING OF THE SON of man be. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also THE COMING OF THE SON of man be. [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also THE COMING OF THE SON of man be.
I think you confuse the physical return of Jesus with the kingdom of grace, and you are not the only one, the disciples of Jesus also made the same mistake. Jesus preached that the kingdom of God was at hand, Mark 1:15, He also send the disciples to preach the same, Luke 9:2, 10:9, but they misunderstood, they thought that Jesus will establish His kingdom on earth.
I am going to use a portion form the book the Great Controversy, which explain very well the kingdom of grace and the kingdom of glory.
"As used in the Bible, the expression “kingdom of God” is employed to designate both the kingdom of grace and the kingdom of glory. The kingdom of grace is brought to view by Paul in the Epistle to the Hebrews. After pointing to Christ, the compassionate intercessor who is “touched with the feeling of our infirmities,” the apostle says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace.” [Hebrews 4:16.] The throne of grace represents the kingdom of grace; for the existence of a throne implies the existence of a kingdom. In many of his parables, Christ uses the expression, “the kingdom of Heaven,” to designate the work of divine grace upon the hearts of men.
So the throne of glory represents the kingdom of glory, and this kingdom is referred to in the Saviour's words, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory; and before him shall be gathered all nations.” [Matthew 25:31, 32.] This kingdom is yet future. It is not to be set up until the second advent of Christ.The kingdom of grace was instituted immediately after the fall of man, when a plan was devised for the redemption of the guilty race. It then existed in the purpose and by the promise of God; and through faith, men could become its subjects. Yet it was not actually established until the death of Christ. Even after entering upon his earthly mission, the Saviour, wearied with the stubbornness and ingratitude of men, might have drawn back from the sacrifice of Calvary. In Gethsemane the cup of woe trembled in his hand. He might even then have wiped the blood-sweat from his brow, and have left the guilty race to perish in their iniquity. Had he done this, there could have been no redemption for fallen men. But when the Saviour yielded up his life, and with his expiring breath cried out, “It is finished,” then the fulfillment of the plan of redemption was assured. The promise of salvation made to the sinful pair in Eden was ratified. The kingdom of grace, which had before existed by the promise of God, was then established."
Hope it is now clear the difference between the kingdom of grace and the kingdom of glory.
