  • This piece was my attempt at doing pours on both sides of a piece. After multiple pours, I wasn't pleased with the way the top looked, so I switched to working with aniline dyes. I like what I finally ended up with.
The following links are to the products mentioned or used for this piece:
    Nova Color Paints: novacolorpaint.com
    DecoArt Dazzling Metallics Teal
    Iridescent Base from Nova Colors
    Liquitex Pouring Medium
    Artisan Aniline Dyes: www.woodturnerscatalog.com/p/...
    Behlen - Solar-Lux Stain: www.woodcraft.com/products/be...
Any clear fast-drying laquer spray (I believe I used Rust-Oleum)

WOW!!!! Techniques are unreal! I pour paint and I think I am considered pretty good, however, on a beautiful wood sculpture, I don't know............!!
