As much as it may seem like that, he isn’t shorter. It’s a small detail. The princess is a more important character throughout the game so they make her taller in cutscenes to show her as bigger on screen and therefore more important. That’s why Link appears shorter throughout the game, is the same height in the True Ending of BotW, and taller in the DLC picture. Japan culture likes to also depict Boys as the same height as their female love interest.
In the video Link picks up Zelda and swings her around, she isn’t taller
This is excellent, especially with the character expression. Zelink has to be one of my favorite ships, these two are just so gosh darn cute in literally every piece of fan art/fiction I find.
I think why I like this ship so much is the fact that it’s truly eternal love. Love that is reborn time and time again to defeat evil. And sometimes it’s not the love of being in love, sometimes their friends, other times their associates, but they’ll always find each other to support the other because they are literally soulmates.
