    Why not include a single sound test? The mic was in your hand, not sure why you wouldn't just throw it up on the stand for a second and do a quick demo. Seems like it would have helped the point get across a lot better

    I think trash is a bit of an overstatement. With that in mind, it’s a bright microphone. I don’t think it’s an “opinion” thing. There is a reason why the NT1 likely outsells this by many multiples. If you record, you want to capture the source as accurately as possible, then remove the resonances and level the recording out. I purchased the 440 Pure, but I had to send it back. It just wasn’t the sound profile I was going for. I could see some use cases for 440 Pure, but for the vast majority of recordings, the NT1 will get you where you want to go faster.

      @@UndergroundSoundProductions hey, I look forward to your videos, so we're even! Truth be told though, I enjoy your thoughts on the audio journey that you're on. I would just tell people to buy the best thing they can afford, and really learn to get the sound you want out of it. Once you master/get close to what you want, when you get really high end stuff, it becomes a whole lot easier. Cheers and keep it up!

    I've never worked with the Pure, but I have the higher-end Lewitt Sub-zero, which is great and not as "bright". Use the various settings and it can become bright, then brighter. I have a Røde NT1A, and it's brighter than the Lewitt Sub-zero, both on a simple interface only (like a tascam us-1x2) or through a dbx 286s.

    Merhabalar
    yaklaşık 1,5 sene önce lewitt540s subzero condenser mikrofon aldım.
    açık konuşmak gerekirse herkesi uyarmak istiyorum. Çünkü o kadar üzgünümki anlatamam. Türkiyede yaşıyorum ve dolar burada çok pahalı.. Buna rağmen lewitt audio nun sahte pazarlama stratejisine kanarak gidip kendime bu condenser microphonu aldım. vokallerim o kadar iğrenc geliyorki ne kadar mixlesemde o pislikliği alamıyorum. üstelik apollo twin ses kartına sahibim. şu zamana kadar elimden 10' a yakın mikrofon gecmiştir hiç birinden bu kadar şikayetci olmadım . 2 el olarak satmak istiyorum ama kimse yanaşmıyor. gerçekten resmen dolandırıldım. internette gösterilen o videoların hepsi yalan. mikrofon resmen 5 dolarlık bir mikrofon gibi ses veriyor ve evcilleşmiyor
    Uyarmak isterim. lewitt pişmanlıktır.

      SM7B is amazing but it doesnt do everything well sadly (for the most times and most consumers, for example if I was recording billie eillish... That mic and most dynamics mics would be horrible, however if I was recording someone like Post Malone itd probably be amazing) The NT1 could do both decently

    • @UndergroundSoundProductions
      @UndergroundSoundProductions  3 года назад +1

      Yeah man all depends on the source. That’s why I love the NT1. It’s just stupid versatile and I don’t have to give it much thought when it comes to picking which mic to use. Not to mention, I feel like it sounds great even just plugged into my interface which I almost never feel. I always feel like I need an external preamp to take some of the edge off the recording but with the NT1 I feel like it sounds natural enough to where I don’t need anything else beside my interface. I just love it man keep finding myself coming back to it at the end of the day

    • @purpleheart69420
      @purpleheart69420 3 года назад +2

      @@SimplicityForGood first as I said above, it would be bad for most "consumers" like bedroom studios and etc bc of the gain, Someone who actually sings loud and clear would have no problems with it, but a whispering soft singing like billie eillish as I mentioned first youd have eat the mic and later on youd have to increase the highs and take out the mud in post and that would increase the preamp noise a lotttttttt, having said that sure if you had the best preamp ever it would probably work just fine but you gotta put into consideration that not everyone can afford it, especially most people that are deciding between the the (SM7B or Rode NT1 lol) I guess a dynamic its worth it for a home recordist if he has a noisy bad environment that he cant fix or accoustic treating the room or sound isolation etc... Then yeah a dynamic might just be better for that ocasion. Hope that helps (Also I just woke up my words decisions might not be the best lol)
