@@js0988 I cannot say honestly that he doesn't charge but I don't think he does. I've seen videos of his after show fan interactions and there's no sign of money changing hands. Some fans will queue for an hour or two just to shake his hand or insult him, (it's a British thing). Selfies galore.
Did you notice you guys laugh first, then when you rewind it and hear it again, you shake your heads? That's the awesome thing about jokes like these, they cause that laughter by catching you before your socialisation kicks in! That's the same principle Jimmy explained and likes to build into his own brand of comedy, that you showed in the reaction! Nice one
Did you see Joker with Joaquin Phoenix? The scene where he dances down those steep stairs. The song that’s playing is Gary Glitter. They used to play it a lot at sporting events, but stopped when it became known that he was a pedo.😊
Gary Glitter was a musician in the 70's and 80's. If memory serves, he had a problem with his computer, took it to be repaired and the repairman saw multiple child porn pictures and notified the police
Great reaction guys! Watched so many reactions to this and yours is my favourite! Alot of people who react to this seem too worried to laugh at alot of the jokes, loved that you got the humour! :D
Yeah that’s what makes comedy great, people think 💭 too much about what the person says and how they will be portrayed if they laugh but if it’s funny then it’s funny :) glad you understand
In many ways Jimmy Carr is more akin to an American comedian named Anthony Jeselnik. Bill Burr's comedy is more based on the idea that 'the emperor is wearing no cloths.' Burr takes societal 'truths' that we are all supposed to repeat without question and then stands them on their head.
Do you know the way you laughed when an Englishman, speaking English said anti, instead of Ant-I, like you do? Well that's how we laugh at you when you say Ant-I and roUt instead of route, oh yeah and the way you say Ant instead of Aunt. Good reaction and video chaps, keep it up.
I'd say Bill is more of a storyteller in his style, while Jimmy trots his jokes out, lads . . . so there are other comedians who are more like Bill really. And seeing as you both seem to really like comedy, have you ever watched any from "Bad Lip Reading" before? If not, try out his Game of Thrones - Medieval Land, Soy Pablo, Stranger Things, Walking Dead or Star Wars spoofs - they could make you both howl so much . . . !
Same Jimmy is just set up... punchline... he's amazing at it n I find him hilarious, but comparison is insulting to bill burr... burr will put his blood sweat n tears into coming up with n putting together a flawless set for a special... not just write random 2 line jokes with misleading set ups n shocking punches
@@JohnTheBaptist87 - A lot of Jimmy's quick fire jokes - as well as many other comedians are coming from the 1-2 liner specialist Gary Delaney - (Sarah Millican's husband.)

Prepare to be offended. He’s a national treasure and we’re not quite as sensitive as Americans when someone is telling JOKES. He’s no where near being cancelled
He is renowned for being very generous with his time after his shows, sitting there for hours chatting with fans, signing autographs, etc.
Charging $100 per autograph.
@@js0988 I got mine for free with a fingering
@@js0988 I don't think anyone has $'s to give in the UK! And nobody carries £100 on them.

Americans are so precious.
No issue with gun massacres and shilden dying.
But a few jokes and they lose their minds
Jimmy Carr is the Eminem of comedy!
Brilliant use of words and phrases to elicit a genuine reaction!
I saw Jimmy Carr live and he was even more savage than in the recordings.
Fr!? Dang that’s impressive lol
I've seen Jimmy live twice, he's a great guy.
Well done Gents younger American's that actually get sarcasm and satire. There's hope for your country yet.
You wanna do Frankie Boyle: Audience Annihilation....he is brutal!! Funny and brutal 😃
You have to do his roasting the audience, roasting women, or heckler collection or all 3

Seen him live about 4 times. He meets after the show, generally a really lovely guy.

Online child porn existed in the 80s?
I enjoyed watching that with you both! that was fun!
Omg Jimmy Carr can be so brutal and yet so funny. But listen and watch Frankie Boyle - he's as brutal as a sledgehammer

The American comedian I'd probably liken him to is Anthony Jeselnik. They have a similar delivery and are both pretty dark.
