Not a good comparison. What ever you used to capture the video did a poor job. PS5 looks like the brightness is turned up too high. Why didn't you fix that?

This is that one game style that you can honestly go any route and you don't really lose much
The Switch is way better. The Switch controllers are HD Digital. You can feel the game. One thing I like about Nintendo is that they have strict policy on how the game should work on the Switch. Every game I bought for the Switch worked on day 1

Lol yea right, the switch version would be the equivalent to a ps3 version, portable mode is only 720p, and even in docked mode it's still a blurry 900p, and the performance is unstable on switch, dropping to as low as 45fps in hectic situations with an average of 50-55 fps, while the ps5 version runs in a crisp 2160p at a stable 60fps and with VRR it doesn't even drop 1 frame, not to mention the controller is much better on ps5 with the dualsense with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback compared to the janky joycons which feel horrible to control on this game especially, of course common sense will tell you any 3rd party game will be better on the ps5, the dualsense is the best controller ever made period, this just feels like your coping for not owning a current gen platform and you are compensating by stating something that is obviously not true, if you had any common sense you would know that, consoles will always beat a handheld no matter what, especially in terms of controller, feel and smooth inputs

I noticed that too before even reading the comments. The contrasting colors seem to make the objects pop more.
Besides the color, switch characters outline looks more pixelated giving it a more retro sprite look.
It’s rare to prefer the switch graphics over ps5, but in this case, I’m going for the switch.

The "PS4 has way better quality,but this game built with the old school filter. It feels more nostalgic on the "Switch. I playing it on my PS5,but for those who have the "Switch its still just as fantastic 👍

Brought it for the switch. Did not disappoint. Although if you have bigger hands you'll wanna use a pro controller or something similar for comfort.

Ps5 has better colors if you have a tv that has HDR+10 and can do DTM: Dynamic Tone Mapping

The colors seem to be a recording "issue", it depends what kind of signal each console puts out and how it's processed by the recording device. In the PS5 settings you have a couple of settings for the output signal and you need to set it to what your TV can handle best. I don't remember what settings the Switch has but it was a bit less. However, brightness and saturation is not a indicator for picture quality, you can hange these pretty easy. If your TV is set up correctly and you select the correct format on your console it should look good on both. I do not think they changed anything when portiing it to the different consoles, if so, it was a mistake and should be fixed with a patch soon.

Im in Philipines and the 8bitdo ultimate controllers are like 15 bucks. I bought 4 more, my girl has 3 siblings and 3 friends, hope i can play 8 player bomberman and this one. I know servers are dead, but I found a physical here and im dying to try it out with 8 players, but not until the end of the month.

Bought this for Switch day 1 and loving it. Got for free on ps5 with ps plus. Plays better and looks better on the less powerful Switch to be honest. This is just a better game on Switch, keeping it real here. Fun is at Nintendo, graphics power is on ps5. Which do you enjoy more?

This actually looks better on Switch than it does PS5, sprites or whatever the devs used for the characters looks much less blurry.
Please tell me, in order to play in co-op on the Nintendo Switch, you need to have two sets of controllers, or is one set enough? If anything, I'm talking about offline co-op

Really not much of a difference, if you want more color then go to TV settings for that

@@firestriker3580 You don't how tvs work, you can put a high end LG OLED in 4:4:4 chroma for better color information, then set the HDR to Always on the ps5, then go into tv and turn on DTM, Dynamic Tone Mapping, which makes the game on ps5 look better than the Switch.
Gave both ps5 snd switch.. I want to play shit on my switch because its handheld and it seems like a great console for playing 2d and retro games .. to bad they made the switch joycon controllers so damn flimsy.. I cant play nearly as good as I can on a nes or snes or with a pro controller. Therefore i guess ill get this game for PS instead of switch.

No, this ps5 version is actually the ps4 version on the ps5, they just recently released a ps5 version but said it is no different than the ps4 version!

@@roleemack1535Yeah literally no difference at all. I got the PS5 version first,and just recently got the PS4 version,and there’s no difference at all. Also the PS4 controls feel tighter with the game,versus the PS5 controls.

Not sure, it does look a little blurry, maybe they were trying to make it look more defined, because there’s less colors too!

@@natelove187 you do realize that Nintendo hasn't updated anything graphically in 20 years that the switch has the exact same graphic capability that the GameCube did back in 2001 it's the exact same chip as a matter of fact so no it's not a powerhouse in any way shape or form
@@theprotagonist6799 If I want old school fun or new school fun, I opt for the Switch. I can lay in my bed and play or play it in my car. If Nintendo uses high graphics, it will drain the battery 🪫. It’s a 2 way street

No, not really! It actually plays surprisingly well! Felt just like the PlayStation version!

I tested all Versions myself. The Xbox Version is the way to go. 6-Player Coop, no lags and Crossplay. PS4 Version runs also smooth but only 4-Player. Frame drops on Switch, especially with 6-Players.
