I was a bit overwhelmed by the menus etc at first but now I feel I have a better orientation around this game :) I am still a bit confused regarding actual combat/which weapons to choose/etc but I’m sure I can pick up on that stuff whilst playing. I’ve subscribed to your channel though so I can keep up with future videos if you make them. Keep up the good work! Sad part was. Before this guide. I was using a Bulin in my fleet. As she was my first purple. Lol oh how embarrassed I was to find out she not a combat ship lol.
i actually went to check tier list on the day i started, weeks ago after i saw some purple ships exchangable in shop. so, ships worth to get in shop are Helena for debuff enemies, portland for tanking, vestal, shouhou and unicorn for backline support. then, first fleet is formed. then, grind maps. get blue and purple ships and retire them for medal of honor and then exchange for super rare ships or yellow bulin. otherwise, gamble cubes in build. 3 times a day. easy game, i guess.
Sounds like you had a solid start! Yes, once you know where everything is and what it does, this is a fairly easy and forgiving game. However, getting your Shipgirls geared properly is challenging starting out. AL has a ton of gears for 'historical accuracy,' but most of them are downright junk, and it's hard to sort what's good from what's not without 3rd party guides / resources like the EN tier list or the AL Wiki. Note: your info on weapon upgrades is a bit outdated. Purple (E) weapons/equips can get enhanced to +11, and Gold (SR) weapons/equips can get enhanced up to +13. It just requires some gold plates which newer players will have trouble getting access to much of. Otherwise a nice patient paced tutorial, albeit a bit too quiet IMO.
Yeah, since this video was made to help new commanders, I didn't want to get deep into the endgame enhancements / Op Siren, since it would be months before they could access/grind it

On my goodness... I have been playing wrong with my boxes the whole time... This video was so good... Thank you so much.. I watched the whole thing... I had to put my head phones on cause the voice was so quiet and I had to Max the volume.. We need a indepth. Look at retro fitting... Also what can I do if I used all my common weapon boxes?? Are things like Comissions infinite?Or should I just replay the older missions to get a ton of common boxes?? I feel like I made so many errors in my play through that I want to restart the game from scratch.
Comissions and daily raids are infinite, and you get tons and tons of boxes from just playing. You don't need to restart, this game is very forgiving. Thanks for the feedback on the audio issues, I'm aware and hopefully I've made improvements with the audio quality of future uploads
i wasnt interested in the game but since i love waifus why not try it so i did yesterday and honestly i have no idea what is going on and what im reading but im just going with the flow, so i think ill need this videos
I don't like RUclipsrs who say oh you have to use this ship because it's good, like bro, not everyone has a ship with such good items And they said yes you have to farm in world 3-4 Up. All this is done while showing all their good items, hope you make a video about choosing a good ship that is not hard to find

Curious. Did our character consume some kind of mushroom and they started seeing things like living ships? When we're doing battles, we're actually using actual ships, right?
i feel overwelmed by all the siren OP stuff, any guide or tips or mistake that i can avoid would be nice ! as a new player just comming for the first time that so much information :x
i havent started playing yet. but i have a few questions 1. can we still get the other 2 starters that we didnt choose?or are they gone forever if u dont choose them?
The other two starters are obtainable as story map drops. Also, once you obtain the starters from the story maps you can get them through build. There is technically another starter called Ayanami. She is only obtainable once you get all the 3 starters in EN server limit broken fully.
bro wtf is that game i would rather play league of legends for 50 hours without a break than this. This game doesnt even make sense imagin people would see you play this on the bus...
Finally a guide that actually goes over the menus and tells us what they actually do, and doesn't just go in assuming we know everything

Best use of your free gems is dorm space probably 5 slots and the second floor after that dock space.

Characters exist as girls and infact they are humane and has no machinery stuff going on

Don't scrap the gear they give you at the start of the story, it's needed later to make stuff in the Gear Lab

I'd recommend Dorm first, then dock spaces. Those two areas are where your f2p gems should go
