I've been riding since 1977...yeah I'm getting old(er). The ST is without a doubt the best sport-TOURING bike around. It's weight makes it comfortable and smooth is the name of the game in long distance touring. Sure, it doesn't cut corners like the Yamaha or have brutal acceleration. Leave that to the crotch rockets. This bike is for adults who ride...lots.
The Honda ST1300 is one of the most comfy and competent, reliable and endearing motorcycles I have ever owned! It is now history, but even without all the modern tech, a good condition low mileage unit is a great choice for long distance one or two up touring. 😎
you're one to speak, the USA has the most motorcycle neglecting road laws, can't filter, police discriminates against motorcyclists. Also what US made? HD motors are made in Germany, and just maybe assembled in US.
exactly....the only people who don't agree with this are the overly patriotic, buy american people, who are more concerned with trailoring down to bike week with a motorcycle that supports american workers...even though a ton of the parts on the Harleys are made in Japan also. No comparison....dads linkiage on electraglide just fell apart riding back from daytona...stupid ass ball end design of it is made to wear out so you have to buy new parts. Harleys suck.
Are you serious? Heavy metal? That's Hoobastank for God's sake. That's like pop rock at best. There have been heavier songs written by the Beatles.... (not really)

My St 1300 ABS 2004 runs strong! This V4 engine pulls hard and the bike handles well in long curves. The top speed is also amazing...
These bikes are simply amazing !
I have a Honda ST1100 and it's a great bike.
Tis is a A6 model not a Honda Pan European ST1300/A8 model.
Side panels are closed on the A8 model (00:58)
THE BEST MOTORCYCLE!
Just got done tearing up that road last fall on a vfr
Is the Honda ugly or is it just me? Do I have to move to Torrance, CA , and fix this?
SPORT touring???
It sounds like an idling jet engine in this video.

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about its looks either.
