Cupra Formentor VZ5 Last Edition.
Tested all of them thoroughly, compared assembly quality and materials used, compared technology and of course, price. Formentor won overall. Never took 1st place in any category except price but it was the runner-up or top 3. It's literally the best all rounder

These times man, a blink of an eye and all V10 Sedans are gone in the name of fake "caring about the world" or "going green" while cargo ships with multiple giant 30+litre V16 engines are powered by the same old oil... I'm so tired of this, please bring back proper euro cars :'3

I have the complete opposite opinion about Cupra and in particular the born. I love them and i think they look great. Including the born.

Whilst this is faster 0-100 than my 2014 RS4 avant, I would still rather have my car for the practicality (not fuel wise) and the awesome sound of the N/A V8.
But this is definitely a better proposition than an RS3 or RSQ3 imo. Agree with Autotopnl there.
Even though the 4.2 V8 is not the fastest, the whole car is so emotional I would take it any day. Congrats, great car

Rly A45S and RS 3 Sportback are highly comparable.
AMG A45S cost under 50k with 381Hp.
RS3 Sportback 55K.
Toyota GR Corolla under 40K with 300Hp.
Maybe RS3 is litlle bigger but both other cars are just best what you can get now.
And paying 70k+ when A45S cost half less and looks ways better...just why:)

my ex boss has a pre OPF RS3 facelift (built for half a year I think), absolute dream car, the sound with the RS exhaust is mad, it just sounds so illegal.
I like the brass-colored accents and I'm pleasantly surprised by the engine sound. And a total absence of pops and bangs! I'd prefer this totally over a Golf R, then give it a tuning job.

not doing Cupra justice, they're way cooler than any Seat or VW - I'd get a Cupra over those cars all day and I'm happy there's affordable engine options and EVs. I Like the Born.
hoe zou je deze vergelijken met de Stelvio Q? Sta op het punt nieuwe wagen aan te schaffen en twijfel sterk tussen nieuwe of net nieuwe Stelvio Q of Grecale als duurste variant of net niet nieuwe VZ5 welke een wel een flink stuk goedkoper is. Outsider ook nog de mini clubman s jcw (ook flink goedkoper). Alle zijn bedoeld om op lichte vracht / grijs kenteken te zetten. Heb alle reviews gezien afzonderlijk maar wat is het verschil prijs/ performance onderling naar jullie aanvoelen?
Ik zou voor deze cupra gaan. Mini is gay en de alfa romeo is twijfelachtige kwaliteit.

Because it’s outsold. They were only 7.000 pieces available worldwide and only for markets where the Formentor was sold in late 2021. can’t order a VZ5 since the beginning of November 23

Your chrono are always very optimistic. So that car which is 300 kg heavier than a 718 GT4 with PDK and sport chrono pack, having 30 hp less, is quicker on a 0 to 100 than the Porsche? 🤔🤔
Thats quite easy. The VZ5 has nearly the same power, more torque and a very good AWD. The GT4 is maybe 200 kg lighter, not 300 kg. We measured the VZ5 with 1630 kg. That thing is not an SUV. It is just a slightly higher hot hatch.

as much as i like it, m340i is so much better
i'm in the same boat. M340i new is somewhere around 75k euros with all discounts applied while one of the last edition Cupra Formentors VZ5 in the stunning century bronze matte finish, brand new, is somewhere around 50k euros after discounts. BMW has the best infotainment, amazing driving position and the equivalent of ea855 evo in the inline 6 category which is the B58. Quality isn't much better, but there's a difference when it comes to materials being used. The actual assembly is a tad bit better on the Formentor to be honest. I tested both thoroughly and even if they had the same price tag, VZ5 is faster and feels 10 times more special. IMO it's a no brainer. VZ5 all the way

Why the hate for the Born? Perfectly convenient little EV. Shares the same interior and a lot of exterior stylings with Formentor and recent SEAT cars. Nothing to write home about but a good all rounder. Quite nippy @6.5 seconds to 100kph and good in urban areas. While my ❤ is with Porsche, the Born has been a nice fun little commuting and shopping car.
70K€ with a few options. Plus 35K€ CO2 tax here in France... we won't see them before a couple of years in import
