Adam u sir r an inspiration 2 many. Idk who got u set up while u were trying to feed them but I hope they feel good about what they did cause karma is real in the world. Adam keep doing what u do. Ur a great father, husband and friend to those u shouldn't be a friend 2. TAKE CARE OF U AND UR FAMILY N UR TRUE FRIENDS FUCK THEM FAKE FRIENDS. THEY R TOXIC N ONLY WANT U TO FAIL!! And love your hats I'm from Central Pennsylvania and would love to see you jelly roll and Tom McDonald do a show in Philly reading Scranton Harrisburg somewhere local you three truly do have a lot to bring to the table not just with your music either keep doing what you're doing
I have met ACal numerous times. Most down to earth humble human being! I want to move the family and work for him lol. Last time in Pittsburgh I took my two younger boys who are huge fans and everyone in the venue showed so much respect for the fact I had my dudes with me.
Adam is litterly proof that a person can change thier lives with hard work dedication and loyalty. Be an honor to visit with him and Jelly is another inspiration. Legends both y'all
I kind of wish they’d let jelly talk a little bit more. They keep cutting them off just saying no big deal. Great podcast love all the all them on there but I guess when you have pressure and you think and all these people are watching you’re trying to keep professional show so that’s probably why that happens
My husband lost his 13 year old boy, his best friend back in 2019. He died in his sleep due to a blood a clot. Our boy had an old soul. Our world was a very dark place for a long time afterwards. The week we were waiting for his autopsy to come back we discovered you and Upchurch on youtube, the funny videos. I just want to say thank you two for bringing some light into our life during that dark time. For making my husband laugh a little bit during that time. You Adam, and Upchurch have been in our home and vehicles since then. My husband blares you two daily! My then 3 year old became obsessed with you two. He absolutely loves Upchurch. Or as he used to say it "chuuch" Anyways thank you so much!
sorry for your loss i know the pain lost my 4 year old and 7 year old girls back in 2009 when they was driving home from a birthday party hit by drunk driver with my jr/highschool sweet hart who i married at 18 in 1999 sometimes wish i was with them i decided last minute to stay a few hours over at work .been a long road i plan to get back out there this summer after spending years at home alone.
I am a huge jelly/Struggle fan. Recently found Adam. I spent 15 years in the TDOC. So I’m pulling for these men. Having said that. I just became of fan of this podcast. This woman has mad skills. Funny the entire (I’ll call it family) is on the come up. It’s called loyalty. True friends are hard to find.
I know I'm late but I agree 💯 Only the weak, lazy and/or lack determination and tencaiousness make the argument that it is someone else's fault why they are in the situation that they are in.
I TOLD MY DAD ONE TIME THAT THERE WERE MOMENTS IN MY LIFE THAT I FELT HE DIDNT HANDLE THE SITUATION CORRECTLY. HIS RESPONSE WAS.... " THIS IS EVERYONES FIRST TIME IN LIFE, NO DRIVERS MANUAL. WE NOT ALWAYS GONNA GET IT RIGHT". I GAINED MUCH MORE RESPECT FOR HIM THAT DAY. HE DIDNT DENIE BEING WRONG AND HIS "EXCUSE" WAS REAL TALK. INSIGHTFUL.
Dam that hit me hard I've held a grudge against my ass whole dad for what he did ( didn't do) he left us to survive on our own and it was ruff growing up....now as a old man he come back in my life because he needs help now...I'm helping him but i can't let go of what he did to us...
Glad I found this video. Just found Adam's music recently. There is no one out there that I feel like I do with his music. I'm a year older but still have a grudge against the world, trying to find my way through it. Hearing him tell his story had me smiling the whole time. Way different lives but I could still see where he came from.
Praying for your chip to be melted off your shoulder and be replaced with forgiving others, forgiving yourself, for you to be loved like you have never been loved before, and for your peace be found by loving like you've never loved before. ❤ 🙏✌️🫶🤘🫂💜
Daily I have to look at Bunnie, Jelly,Adam,Demum, and Ryan Upchurch. Keeps me grounded and watching real people that I feel tell the truth and give me so much everyday . I can't start my day without this being put into my heart. I respect you all so much. All the tragedies you share and the victories you've had inspire my day. I love you all. Sincerely
@@derekmichael920first person I thought of was Haystak. I know he’s held some grudges in the past but I haven’t checked in on him the past couple of years or so.
As a 48 year old woman, mother, NaNa, and former Trailer dweller I can relate to a bunch of this. Raised my girls around the Joliet to kankakee area, I think my ol man was in prison with Adam as well back in the day lol
Love hearing these back stories, too bad the haters couldn’t get to see this side of y’all to see how you guys are instead of just hating because their feelings got hurt by something that’s said in a song.
I met Adam at his concernt in Colorado & he is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. He truly is just another person with a beautiful story with a rough past, he's so humble, the music hasn't gotten to him, he's still a raw and real person, and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. Was super happy to watch this interview.
I am grateful you didn't quit rapping. The brave and brave 2 are incredible. I think your rapping is life changing for myself and others. Such a fun podcast Bunnie, Jelly and Adam. ❤
It's funny how Adam&Jelly describe how different little girls and boys are. My oldest daughter(20) is in college now but, she used to get angry with me for being strict with her. Finally about a year ago she asked me why I was strict with her and I explained she didn't come with a manual when she was born and I was determined not to screw up this parent thing. I was 26 when she was born and I had seen many people screw it up bad.
Hands down ADAM and Jelly got me through so much, and I am trying to work on my channel to heal myself. I can commend Adam for the next chapter. Still fighting Demons today but with people like them, Makes it easier to follow in footsteps.
On my Jelly roll station on Pandora…jelly roll love me/ struggle Jennings when I come home/ Eminem Beautiful/ jelly save me/ Merkules Heart on my sleeve.
Man bro. Much respect listening to your history is like listening to someone tell my story in alot of ways. Grew up Northside Omaha, lived a little bit in the sticks for a couple years. Oldest of 3 Bros growing up..all in and out of trouble in our younger days. I did the county jail in my 20s, then 30 months in prison at age 29. Started rapping at 14 , did the battle scene a lil . Left rap alone a while got back to it in prison. Got out , started a business as a contractor, met a good woman, got custody of my boys around their ages being 10-11 . Got married , had a daughter now almost 3 years old, newborn son just recent. I'm 40 now . Man I just relate on so much of what yall touched. Even the Jessica Simpson, Selma Hayek, Penelope Cruz bit LOL! Love your music. And jelly, and struggles, and Upchurch. I feel like yall was talking about Stak(maybe?) in the story at the end, that's unfortunate, mf's gotta be pushing 50 , what a shame. Best to you moving forward Adam. And Jelly ! Great podcast Bunnie!
Hi Bunnie, could you do a podcast pertaining to ptsd one day. It's one the biggest struggles I have in my life. I just wanted to see how others manage with it also. I don't win living with it. Thank you ♡ love your podcast
You always have QUALITY content that is worth waiting for. I generally no nothing of your guests or their music or talents but get to know them a bit and appreciate learning their “ story “ and talents.
Also being born in 1980 Adam and I have so much in common it’s insane how our lives have so many similarities much respect brother you’re music keeps me going
First of all this has become my favorite podcast. Secondly, I love Adam Calhoun and everything he believes in. Third, I remember going to my little country neighborhood store with a note to buy my mom a pack of Marlboro Light 100’s 😂
Me too! I don't usually like podcasts but Bunnie def knows what she's doing and she makes the podcast! The only podcast I listen to and watch on a daily basis.
ACAL's story is one of the few that helped me change myself. I hate to admit that it took him suffering for so long for others to learn how to calm the fuck down. But, thank you Adam. Your story and your music are a major inspiration for myself!
Thank you Adam because now I feel I'm doing just fine with my kids because sometimes I feel I'm too tough on my kids but I can't handle kids in society these days.
Kids in society today is a big topic. My 3 girls are grown now but I raised them mostly on my own. Anyway, all of them including their friends, knew I had no control of my back hand when I am disrespected or hear something come out of their mouth they I know they are not allowed to say.(cussing especially). I have back hand a couple of their friends too. They looked at me in surprise. I knew their parents as well. Next thing I said is should I call your mom and tell her I did that? Lol...their reaction immediately was NO! Because parents would have punished them again. But today, parents are different. I may have went to jail for that today. I blame mostly the parent for the disrespect kids have. " Oh, you put your hands on my child? " Cops would be called and next call would to a lawyer. All people today are out to sue about everything. Those girls to this day, and they are all in their late 30s, call me momma Leach. They love me like a second mom. Very respectful girls. A few of them have thanked me for how I treated them.Their kids love me too. I treated all those bonus girls like my own when they were with us.(which was more than they were at home....lol) seems..Which their parents at that time, appreciated that. At least they knew, I did not play. They were safe and not running the streets and getting into trouble. Anyway I think I might have got of the subject rambling on. Much love to Bunni and Jelly keep doing what you are doing. Much love to you all. As a side point, parents, please rethink how you punish your kids. Or don't
#Adamcalhoun your the man and I respect you as a father to your son and god bless your son and the service to this messed up country we live in and your son is a brave young man for being in the service especially these days in time
I'm 37 and I hear this all the time. All of us myself included learned all of our good traits from our grandparents. What does that say about our parents? Even the ones that stuck around. Its not a lost generation its just aimless.
As a 48 year old that grew up on mostly rap but also everything else, the only artists I have paid for their albums in the last 5 years are Jelly, Adam and Church.....and Merkules the Canadian twin. Loved listening to these men, we seem to be cut from the same cloth. What a great interview, subscribed!
I found this video today just scrolling while cooking. Never really heard Adam talking...just heard and liked his music with Upchurch...i have to say....what he said about being a dad and stepping up no matter what....Even if he didnt have a good dad and there not being an excuse to not break the cycle means EVERYTHING... MAD RESPECT for this man. Thank you Adam! Please keep teaching this to other men. You're amazing 👏 ❤
Watching this at 6 am on the west coast. Great start to my day! Love Adam even more now! Nothing but love for Bunnie and Jelly always! Thanks for a kick ass way to start my weekend!
@bunniexo you are such an incredible interviewer! i’m always happy when there’s a long interview that u bless us with over here on youtube ♥️ i miss watching ur content & unfortunately can’t afford to pay on the other platforms to get ur content. much love to u girl 💕
Adam Calhoun much ❤️Thank U and Jelly Roll for being my playlist on this crazy ride of life 💯 Y'all are saving lives one song at a time 🤞🏽 I'm fighting really hard to want to stay alive in this world on top of maintaining sobriety Music helps me escape my war within myself
@Temptress77 I hear you,, I am you. But we can not let Satan win, because that's what he literally wants, to attack us and drag us down to the point of jumping ship, so fuck that. We can NOT let him win 💪💜
I am 42 years old and agree 100% with what Adam and Jelly said about that Era. I was in Canada listening to WuTang and Tupac and the normal Goats. The reason I love Adam and Jellys music is because it touches all ages. Me being 42 and my daughter being 13 listen to Adam and jelly their Music transcends ages. Thanks to Adam and Jelly for giving me one more thing me and my daughter can bond with.
Bunnie, this is my first time visiting your RUclips channel, I had no idea you were right here but I would love to see more of your content. I’m new to Adam as well so this was the perfect introduction of him personally and professionally for me. Love from Louisiana 💞
My dad used to send me down to the drive-thru when I was 5 years old with a note to get him cigarettes. That is great that you just said that Adam and jelly and Bunny
First time seeing this guy. We grew up in the same time era. I’m 39 years old and I’m at a time where I want to just be peaceful. It’s been a rough road a lot of times and I’m so tired of having to be the tough one. Just want to say congratulations to Adam just for all the good things, the accomplishments and just being real for the rest of us. I’m ready for my peace ☮️

Ty Bunnie for having him on the podcast glad you are gaining popularity here. Adam said he loved Led Zepplin well I do to. He is so down to earth and I think he’s humble. Great great artist. Liked you with Tom McDonald collaboration

Bunnie is such a great host. She asks great questions and stays on point. This podcast earned a sub.
And so good and keeping things going and on track
Yeah she could go into therapy for people!

Adam seems like he has a great personality .He's real . He isn't big headed .He isn't full of drama .
He didn't use childhood trauma to justify why everything is everyone else's fault, he's not a narcissist that's winning
I know I'm late but I agree 💯
Only the weak, lazy and/or lack determination and tencaiousness make the argument that it is someone else's fault why they are in the situation that they are in.
He’s not a narcissist like Andrew Tate isn’t a sex trafficker 😂😂😂😂🤮🤮🤮🤮
Because he is a real American man.

Yeah man Jelly is very lucky man to have a solid chick so full of life by his side
Yes that's right yes
I completely agree. You have a beautiful soul Bunnie

I'm 37 and I hear this all the time. All of us myself included learned all of our good traits from our grandparents. What does that say about our parents? Even the ones that stuck around. Its not a lost generation its just aimless.
One of the best podcasts I've seen. Thank you Bunny and Jelly. Thank you Adam. Just amazing.
Thank you, Bunnie and Jelly, for doing this podcast and having Adam on the show ! Love to listen to all 3 of you, regularly ❤

@@tinamarieking5958Or upchurch
I love Adams story. He’s such a badass! I’ve followed him for many years!
It's good to see that you guys are all down to earth and cool as hell. Love the music and the podcast.
Funny thing - those hilarious Adam Calhoun videos with his son was how I found ALL of you!! You all are so talented - thank you for sharing 🤗
same though
And bunny by the way you are so good at picking back up where people get off track you bring it right back to where they were, that's talent!

I am 42 years old and agree 100% with what Adam and Jelly said about that Era. I was in Canada listening to WuTang and Tupac and the normal Goats. The reason I love Adam and Jellys music is because it touches all ages. Me being 42 and my daughter being 13 listen to Adam and jelly their Music transcends ages. Thanks to Adam and Jelly for giving me one more thing me and my daughter can bond with.
