Brantley said it best. Seeing Jason aka Jelly Roll get 3 awards at the CMT awards was so inspiring. His speech brought tears to my eyes. I love Jason and I love Brantley. Bunnie your a legend for so many reasons. God bless yall
The respect, the admiration and appreciation that this man has for his wife, speaks volumes above. I also tend to have very similar values and thoughts on the discussion matters, but the way he has communicated in such an effective and delicate way. It truly sets an example in my opinion.

Brantley sings a song called “saving Amy” and I have always absolutely loved it. My name is Ami. Well fast forward about 10 yrs and my fiancé died in a car accident. He is also the father of my youngest son. It’s crazy to me how certain sons you can’t relate to, you just vibe with. And then later you relate to the song in a very literal way because of some tragedy or life circumstance. Like our souls know what’s to come or something!…. I went to a Brantley Gilbert concert in 2011/2012. I was first row on the floor. He grabbed my arm ❤I haven’t washed it since…. 😝 jk but it’s my favorite experience at a concert!

I use to work as an activity coordinator for a rehab/ assisted living for people with traumatic brain injuries! What a joy these people made in my soul … I love how he brings up tbis and advocates for them

In the end of my addiction I was using 40mg. Opana a 60mg. Morphine both together to get out of bed and not be throwing up. Then start my day head to work get something on the way to make it through 10 to 12 hrs. Of working in the sun I could get 5k paycheck Thursday night or Friday morning and come Monday I would have to borrow money for drinks and lunch but would be good for 2 or 3 days. I stopped July 21 2017 and it took me over a year to stop being sick I lost that job almost lost my family now I have almost 7 yrs. Clean and just had my 2nd child at 34 and went from homeless to having a home a few nice cars a few toys and antique truck. I made over a million dollars in 3 years and had nothing to show for it at one point was sleeping on my mom's couch and had a 1100 dollar truck. I traded for a pound of weed and some pills. I was never expected to live this long and now I have a healthy blessed life.
Those opanas were no joke. I’m from a little town in Arkansas and when a guy started getting those in town that’s all people wanted. God knows where I’d be if they were readily available where I grew up. Barely escaped as it was. Awesome hearing success stories like yours! People do not understand how much of a bitch any addiction is. Let alone an opiate one. Props to you!

My favorite interview ever! Omg my daughter was 4 and anytime we were in the car Corey Smith 21 on the way to daycare over and over and over! I just found the cd the other day and gave it to her. She is 17 now.
I have loved Brantley Gilbert’s music for over 10 years and I had no idea of his story. Very interesting! I named my puppy Brantley when I was a teenager(kids 😂) there has never been another artist that I loved so much until Jelly. These two inspire me so much!
Clean from 2012 til present..oxycidone and opana was my favorite...no Tylenol in either... I was high functioning worked 3 jobs I didn't act fuked up but hated not having it when my gson was coming my very 1st.i thought man I can't let my baby see this lifestyle it wasn't bad but I needed my meds to work work work insanity inrarley slept.. n today 12.yrs later feel it'd catching up with me..lov u Brantley . bunnie as.well

I love your podcast, you are such a a beautiful and soulful person. As is Jelly Roll. I could definitely be part of your circle from what I've seen. This podcast with Brantley Gilbert has made me respect him more knowing his story. He put on a great show in Baton Rouge 2013/2014 (have memory issues due to Neurological issues) and it was the last live performance I've been to and had no idea about his struggles and subsequent recovery. I'm extremely proud of anyone that goes into recovery.
Keep being amazing and beautiful as always. Give Jelly Roll a big hug for me. He reminds me so much of my brother I lost a bit over a year ago. My brother was an addict, Jelly's size (maybe not as tall), has every physical feature in common. They both has the same personality (only sober, he was horribly mean on drugs and alcohol). Jelly was his favorite artist and all his songs I have heard had reach me in ways to understand my brother better. From watching various podcast with him I learned about yours. You fucking amaze me!! You are the epitome of badassery!! You have helped give me insight into my own flaws and failures and it's helping me make myself better emotionally. Again, stay beautiful and a total bad ass!!! I’ve always been a huge Brantley fan, but him talking about guns and his stance and his actual explanation has earned him even more respect from me! And I’m one who leans more on the leftist side of things. I loved how he talked about how we all are more of middle of the row but there’s things that put us more directly under the left or right category. Brantley continues to be one of my all time favorites.
