I hated those extra buttons too. Ended up taking them out completely and putting button caps on the holes. So now there are only four buttons like the real thing.
Hello, and thank you! The wiring is super simple. I am an audio newb, so feel free to laugh me out of here, but I just out the back speaker in parallel with the speakers located on the front of the unit. Then in parallel, on the left side speakers, I have wired into the amplifier only to power the bass Shaker. The bass Shaker doesn't produce sound, per se, just bass vibrations on the cabinet. Super simple and easy and .. probably wrong lol but it works.
@@douglasmclainberdeaux1534 Dude, my own skills in audio go as far as plugging a jack cable between a source and an output, so I won't be the one laughing :-) Thanks for the details. The volume knob on the control panel still controls the whole thing ?
Okay how did you cut the speaker holes on the roof of the cab? I need to do a speaker mod these stick speakers are kinda weak even compared to arcade1up. I may just do the fronts but not even sure how hard it will be... I am gonna take a look when I put in sanwa sticks and Happ buttons tonight
Having a hard time getting the bass shaker to receive an audio input.... did you extend both yellow wires from one side to go to your amp or just one of the two yellow strands...
@@douglasmclainberdeaux1534 ok so if I’m understanding you correctly... I have to wire both positive and negative, Daisy chained off one of the speakers, and run that to one wire which will then be used as the audio input into the amp
@@Danny-fc2je let me try it out for you by disconnecting my rear speakers tonight and I'll make a private demo of the sound for you. Are you on telegram?
@@douglasmclainberdeaux1534 Just test it out and let me know on here.... i already ordered the front speakers, bass shaker, and the Retro ralph amp along with an RCA to 3.5mm cable to splice.
@@Danny-fc2je Here ya go. ruclips.net/video/z3YUk8_VwWA/видео.html Sounded better than stock for sure! You'll definitly have to add treble with your amp. I didn't have these going into the amp in that video (cos my amp sucks) and it still made a huge difference.
Hello. I do not. I apologize. I have since switched my entire MVSX guts out to host an actual MVS, so I cannot even check it for you. @NeoCVera (here on RUclips) just released a video on how he wired his up. I recommend checking out his channel to see how he did it.
I don't. I'm sorry. I am an audio newbie! Retro Ralph recommended some in some of his videos, I remember. If I were to buy one, I'd get one that he recommended. Here's the video he posted which gave me this idea: ruclips.net/video/5EjX_tLZ8qw/видео.html
Wow wish i was comfortable to do this to mine. Awesome 😎

Wow! I'd love to see those caps! Where'd you buy em? Even with the CPS stuff coming out soon, I just wanna stick with Neo Geo for my MVSX 😊

Hi, nice mods you made ! Congrats ;-)
Would you happen to have a diagram somewhere of your audio wiring ?

Both positive and negative. All speakers on my cabinet are in parallel.

Do you think if I just did the front speakers and the bass shaker that it would be enough?
Hello! That's up to you and your preference. It will definitely sound better than stock in my opinion.
