I remember when I was a little boy back in the 60's I got some literature on some Marklin trains in San Francisco and thought they were very cool. But, my dad had American Flyer and I still run those trains to this day.
Used to have some ho marklin model trains when I was a kid... just a couple of small sets... I remember playing with those over the living room rug, I knew that with some effort I can make something more pro... but I didn´t even dreamed of making something like this... this is beyond belief... looks like a real mini world!!! I`m just shocked! Congratulations on your fantastic work... you can tell you put a lot of effort and passion into it! Cheers from Chile!

thanks Kimball, nice hearing from you, getting all the steel tubing together, building permit, engineers drawings and than its go go for the garage extension, we're doing it ourselves and this way we can save 1000's of dollars, just the concrete alone we save 1000 dollars getting it direct from the concrete firm. How is your layout going and the french collection ?, if I don't hear from you have a nice Christmas to you and your family , regards., John, have to pay Juhan some money for the new carraige he's made, if he has got any left.

I get to buy a few French pieces now and again, the latest is the Marklin tram car (37258). I have got some vintage VB and France Trains too, which are rather nice. Glad you are occupied with extensions. I also have a few clips on RUclips, but it is not really my thing. All the best.
Yes my friend, in my collection I have Trix, Roco, Brawa, Liliput, Modell Kleinbahn, ACME, Rivarossi, Lima, Guetzold, Hag, Lenz, Marklin Hamo and Marklin AC, Mehano, Piko and Vitrains for European models. At 1:05, the switch is driven open. (it is from the rear to the front hit while he is in the wrong direction). For a model railway will not so bad, but I work on the (real) railways in Belgium as Technician Rail Works, do this in real life with a real switch and a real big train, and the switch is likely damaged with the risk of a derailment to. Still, congrats on your model railroad. Very nice!
Sehe schöne Anlage. Ist diese mit einer Mischung aus K und C gleis entstanden? Ich bin 1988 geboren und wurde seit meiner Kindheit von Märklin begleitet - mal mehr mal weniger. Ich hatte als Kind schon eine recht große Anlage (natürlich vom Vater und nicht selbst gebaut) und war immer wieder aufs neue begeistert. Heute hat sich Märklin bei mir sogar in meinen Hobby-Nebenberuf eingeschlichen. Ich habe schon längere Zeit Produkttests gemacht und irgendwann die Idee bekommen das Ganze zu filmen. So entstand nebenbei ein kleiner RUclips Kanal. Irgendwann wollte ich in den Eisenbahn Modellbau digital einsteigen und erwarb ein Märklin Digital Startset. Ohne groß darüber nachzudenken filmte ich das Set auch (wobei ich vorher immer Gaming, Hifi, Haushalts Sachen gefilmt & getestet hatte). Kurze Zeit später wechselte ich von der Infrarot Fernbedienung auf die Mobile Station 2 und filmte auch über diese einen Test. Nach einiger Zeit merkte ich, dass diese Videos sehr gut ankommen und die Modellbahn Gemeinde auch auf youtube zahlreich vertreten ist. So filmte ich im Laufe der Jahre noch ein paar weitere Startpackungen und siehe da: Inzwischen sind das meine beliebtesten Videos und ich habe einige tolle Modellbahner in meiner Community, die viel Wissen haben und das auch in den Kommentaren mit anderen teilen. Darauf bin ich ein kleines bisschen Stolz und freue mich jedes mal wenn die Leute sich unter meinen Videos in den Kommentaren gegenseitig helfen :-)

the bulk of tracks are K-track and a small amount is C-track, this was replaced from previous M-track. The power comes indeed from the third rail and also from the overhead system. you will find in newer upcoming videos the turnouts will be in their right position its just a matter of connecting them to the digital system
this is just a technicality, someone didn't do their job right, it has already been reported and the relevant person(s) responsible for this irresponsible action will be reprimanded in due course, this should never have happen. At 07:10 when passing the turnout/switch, it seems there is a short circuit? The lights blink on both the moving train and the train next to it on the left. I have this problem with my Märklin trains too. Frequent short circuits!
what would you cut off if you had 2 days, your right foot ?, this would mean we have to lower the layout so you can see what's going on (lol) or supply you with some artificial legs. Thanks for the compliment but there are things in life more precious than modeltrains, for instance legs to walk with.
Zur Zeit war die Oberleitung noch nicht fertig montiert. Wenn du meine spätere Videos anschaust wirst du sehen das die Stromabnehmer hoch sind und seitem kommt der Strom auch von dort. bei den Weichen, da gibt es Weichen die auch bei der Großbahn in der Falschrichtung stehen. Wenn du mal eine eigene Anlage hast wirst du bemerken du kannst nicht alles in einer Woche machen so muß man mal Geduld haben.
when you have a close look you can see the centre stud, so it is 3 rail, although I use the overhead system as well. the track is mainly K-track and also a section with C-track.
you may notice later videos have their pantographs up, this video was taken while the overhead system wasn't completely ready, the over head system is now working and power is coming through the wires, so far turnouts are concernd, I can tell you with assurance there are prototype turnouts which do not face in the .direction of an oncoming train.
I like your layout, but I think that it is a bit too dense on the rails. In other words, it lacks scenery and other settings like a highway or a river...
New marklin and fleshman is very shit! I work in a museum whith this! The old model is good! But évolution is very bad! 1 week and is die! 50e for électronic

Das wurde schon vorher bemerkt bei einem anderen Zuschauer, es hatte nichts mit der Zugkraft zu tun die Kupplung waren nicht zusammen gekuppelt.
