1. Because of peer pressure... Lots of people now a days upgrading just looking at social media and society
2. Another reason is of SUV namesake trends now a days, which makes a hatchback buyer thinks he/she is having a decade old car
3. Even if he upgrade, he will buy punch only because of Boot Space... though the premium he is paying for cng will not get recover according to his current running

@@carobar23Bhai mat karo upgrade I will share my story- I purchased Nexon Petrol due to peer pressure and SUV trend for city use but trust regretting my decision in just 3 years na to Nexon mileage de rahi hai na hi performance city me upar se itani heavy and boxy in traffic tang aake bech di aur ab Fronx book ki hai. So apki jo car hai wo achhi hai seating position se itna comfort me problem nahi hai aur this is good car for city use upar se cng bhi hai so bike itni sasti padegi usage me 👍🏼.

Its nothing that society is wrong in praising Micro-SUVs,
1. Nowadays its era of high positioning at cheap rates, it feels you make more confident over roads, An i10 and punch at same rates would differ huge..
2. The overall VFM package of all time is considered to be an SUV amongst all segment over Indian roads either we will talk about 50-60 years back or 10-12 days back, Difference is just previously for SUVs one needs to be diamond dealer or a strong financial person, but nowadays its everybody's house's talk...

It makes no sense in upgrading punch or exter... little or more power lag won't make big difference, we aren't racing on roads. As long as car is reliable, giving good mileage and no maintenance then what's the reason to change it necessarily?. And big question is how many times do you drive with full load on car??

If you think it will be an upgrade by going with Punch CNG/exter cng then I think it will be wrong. Exter gets same engine with same power figure with added body weight hence u might feel more underpowered compared to nios, or might be in case of phase 2 bs6 it might perform equal to nios.
If we talk about punch cng then punch gets 3 cylinder engine, hence you will actually downgrade your engine from 4 cylinder to 3 cylinder.
What I would suggest is try out brezza cng which gets 1.5 litre engine which is more powerful, spacious, efficient, safe compared to what u are looking for.
If your budget does not allows for brezza go for fronx surely instead of exter.
Best will be to stick to nios for more 3 years then upgrade as after 3 years EV segment will boom & will cost comparatively low as now. Already tata have reduced tiago ev price by 70k to 1lakh recently. Hence in next 2-3 years it would be technology wise revolution in the market.
Make your decision wisely & don't just go for "ground clearance" upgrade by choosing exter.
Best way to find out whether the new cars engine will perform or not is by calculating power to weight ratio of your current car & the one which you are looking for...

Even after watching the full video I couldn't understand why he wants to upgrade. First he said he felt improvement after driving Punch and Exter and then when Ravi sir told there;s not much difference then he also said yes there's not much difference.
I think what he wants is more torque but he needs to understand that if you want CNG then you won't get torque.

has high seating position
is narrow
need more power but CNG too
ignis has high seating position, its narrow + has good ground clearance too (180mm) but the thing is it doesn't get company fitted CNG
I think you will have to compromise on CNG if you need more power because almost no cars provide good power with CNG
or you can just drive your current i10 NIOS on petrol mode if you feel underpowered and on cng when car is not on heavy load
😄 by the way what is the mileage you get on petrol mode in city traffic?
also have you ever changed the CNG filter? if not i suggest getting it replaced. You will feel a difference in power

Ravi bhai always talks to the point. Upgrade should be done to the next segment where the space and comfort justify the premium paid .
Ignis alpha very vfm nowadays and suzuki is known for their great power to weight ratios
0* safety, straight bench type rear seat without reclining, head of passengers will collide with top portion of rear windows when 3 ppl sit in rear.
So not reasonable.

Swift cng recommend Kar sakte ho. It is the most powerful cng hatchback. But, width zyada hai i20 jaisa.
Altroz diesel XM+S se acchi gaadi for the price koi hai hi nahi. Jitna dhoondhlo. Mileage(20+ in city), looks, safety, god level music system, smoothness (yes, Tata me smoothness. Impossible lagta hai but absolute truth)

I have same car from 2020 but not getting mileage as claimed in this video. On the highway it can run upto 200km and within city about 150km for one full CNG refilling.

Check your fuel tank lid.. it should mention UPTO E20 fuel.. that will confirm bs6.2.. hope this helps

Absolutely right. Going for a higher segment is better. Wait for sometime, many cars will launch in the coming months. If he is really interested in mileage, I think he should go for an electric car, by keeping this car as standby.

He needs only cng car. And C3 82bhp petrol itself is better car than all 1.2L engine cars. ignis is not safe, so dont recommend to anyone

Cng filter replace karlo, air filter k alawa do or filter hote, kabhi kabhi cng pump pe compressor oil and dirt v aajata to ye filter rokte hai. Please get that replaced and see the difference.

CNG mein Turbocharged engine to aayega ni. Next time skip CNG and go for Petrol if running is low and opt for Diesel if running is on the higher side.
