I'm really glad I read the manga as it was coming out, because now I get to watch all my friends go from laughing at Kobeni to legitimately worrying for her safety every time she's on screen.
I'm not sure who they got to voice Kobeni, but they are absolutely nailing the role. Her actress really encapsulates just how pathetic yet lovable Kobeni is.

Faced with the choice of becoming a sex worker or a devil hunter, Kobeni opted to become a devil hunter and joined Public Safety despite wanting to go to college too
She might not fitting for the job, but remember in the manga she still quite a badass fighter who could take down human level threat such as assasins and murderer in less than a minute before quiting the job. If she not timid, she could be bonafide strong demon hunter if she put her mind to.
It’s actually such a good thing our favorite cinnamon roll was near the bottom of the popularity poll since everyone higher than her on the poll was killed and in order of descending popularity the way they were killed was shot to death then self sacrificed, sliced apart then eaten, possessed then sliced apart, assassinated then controlled, (Denji Vibin), controlled and then presumably killed, then finally crashed. The only exceptions to this rule was THE HECKIN PROTAGONIST. Also Himeno died but like she was already dead by the time this poll came out so yeah.
I don't read the manga but know some spoilers about her not big spoilers ofc and i don't know her tragic backstory (yet) . But how in the world can be someone THIS CUTE?? And she is strong just not enough brave this is what Himeno said. And can't wait that dance from Kobeni and more to see about her. I still can't decide for now who is the number 1 Waifu in the anime. I re-played the video many times cause the ''Hai!'' part and the other parts too are just too cute noises.
