@@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1 I’m in Overton County, I pick up the trash in front of my farm, I find cups with ice in them. On the other side of the coin, the internet here is smoking fast, remote workers would be stoked!
We used to use the DUI convicts to pick up the litter every weekend while they served their mandatory 48 hours sentence, and it worked great. Sadly, somewhere along the way it stopped being done. Never heard why, probably some liberal judge put a stop to it.
Tourists litter,I live close to I 75 and it's litter from north of Knoxville to Chattanooga! There are a lot of good old boys that also don't make everyone follow by laws. Like having a junkyard in your neighborhood. So don't move to Niota Tn. We're getting inundated with New Yorkers and Chicago natives. They are rude and have foul mouths.
We are headed to Nashville this April to check out the area as we are considering a move. We will be looking at the suburbs of Nashville and a trip to Knoxville. I appreciate the information it is super helpful!
Fantastic 🎉I so appreciate you letting me know that you’re finding the videos helpful. April will be a beautiful time to be here. Please let me know if I can help you in anyway make some plans. Knoxville is about three hours from Nashville with drive time. I have partners that I work with in Knoxville as well, so let me know if I can help you in any way!
@@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1I didn't want to leave!! We visited several areas south of Nashville, and took a couple days to explore Knoxville and neighboring areas. It was so clean and there is room to breathe. I didn't want to leave!!
I wish you would do a show on short term disability here in Tennessee. Because I got hurt out of work and now I may be homeless in one month. I have called the state and everybody and anybody that I could and all everybody could say is sorry, too bad!shame on you, Tennessee ! I wish I could move out of here!
i’m so sorry for the problems that you’re having. I only do videos on things. I actually know a lot about so that one. I just don’t think I could add anything of value for you.
So are you saying that the assessed property tax rate is .03288 or 3.288%? That is pretty high. I currently live in California, LA county, if the properties get reassessed every 4 years and at the rate they are increasing in the Nashville area, the property tax payments may get closed to what we pay over here since our assessment only goes up 2% max a year (however they are trying hard to remove that rule in California, which would only continue the exodus). Are there any special conditions that can reduce the County property tax rates? Example Texas has a homestead exemption which you can qualify for to reduce your property tax rate. Thanks keep doing what you are doing, me and my family may just head in the direction in a year or two, thank you for all the info I like to do my homework and your channel has been very helpful.
Thank you for your question as I'm sure others have similar concern. Let me try to answer this way: each county has a different tax rate and we are reappraised every few years and then assessed at 25% of the appraised value. But Each county has different "rate" Maybe that is clear as mud🤷♀️ Let's try this and compare taxes on similar priced homes in a couple counties to compare the tax on each 330k home: Davidson 1670 annually Wilson 1213 annually Williamson 1605 $650 Davidson county $2774 Wilson $2149 Williamson $2086 1,000,000 Davidson County $6694 Wilson County $5413 Williamson county $6204 And then, if not confusing enough a few areas of each county may have additional tax depending on address; for example, if the Davidson county home happen to be in the city of Belle Meade there would be a Belle Meade city tax added to it. If it happen to be in Williamson County Franklin in the special schools district they would also be an additional fee. I hope that’s helpful!
Centennial Park was named that because it was the location of the Centennial Exposition in celebration of the state's centennial, not the city of Nashville. As for the state flag, you failed to mention how to properly display it. The star that is closest to the pole goes to the top. This is one thing I see all the time around here; new transplants wanting to show they have fully accepted their new state put a state flag plate on the front of their vehicle and most of them install it upside down. Other things newcomers will notice is that almost none of the born here locals will use the street names you'll not find on Google maps or even on the street signs. Why, because we grew up calling them by their previous name. For example, we do not call the road that runs through the downtown district from River Front Park up the hill Broadway, we call it lower Broad street, or simply lower Broad, and we never call the major roads xxx Pike, it's xxx Road to us. We also mispronounce, according outsiders anyway, other names like Lafayette street, which we pronounce as Lu-fett, Lu as in lullaby, and fett as in Boba Fett from star wars. Pronounce it any other way and locals immediately know you ain't from around here 😂. That's all for now. Maybe some other time I'll tell the story of our drunk mayor, or why rabbit was such a big deal in Nashville, or our pardon selling governor, or why our roads are really in such terrible shape when they used to be considered the best in the country...
Your roads are smooth as silk compared with LA’s. We have much higher taxes but they never spend on infrastructure. It all either goes into the politician’s pockets or to illegals. I’ll take Tennessee roads any day. Plus it’s clean along your highways. Southern California highways are lined with garbage and homeless tents. Like Caracas in the seventies.
Good evening my husband and I are planning to move to Tennessee from Orlando Florida can you help us I been looking at Zillow and gathering information but I will like a professional please thank you
Thank you Jessenia for asking; I would be honored to help you in your move to Nashville. Let’s set up a time to FaceTime talk so I can learn about you, your desires in a community, etc and set up a gameplan! 615.414.5510
Thank you so much for answering I will definitely give a call on Monday so we can set up a game plan thank you so much you don’t know how much this means to me 😍
@Trish Phillips - since you own 1&1/2 acres in Lawrence County, common sense would dictate you can bury the cremated remains of 2 dogs. Why bother asking the question here?
It really scares us to hear you talk about Californians and Oregons coming out to TN. We are moving out of AZ because Californians and have taken over the state. We are looking for a Christian conservative state and I sure hope we didn’t make a big mistake.
I hear your concern..I can assure you that every Californian (and for that matter, Floridian, Chicagoan, etc) that my team has helped move to Tenn are staunch Constitutionalists and have promised they ise will continue to help us keep Tenn that way.
Yes and Michigan is Blue progressive and for women's rights too! Guess we DO need to move to TN to make it BLUE! 💙 💙 💙 Sounds a lil racist with "your new citizens" BS.. Never a good look hun.. Bless your heart tho! I'm sure your jeezus is sooo proud of you.. No hate like a Christians love. 🙄.. What a disgusting clump of cells. 🤦🏼♀️
@Marilyn Malone - since your "Brim" is running over the unwelcoming top, consider moving to Michigan ... having a lot of Country side and inviting everyone!

Barbecue is actually a food group here.
It isn't everywhere?❣️
Not as bad as NY State pot holes!
That is an accolade I am happy to cede to anywhere else!
I was thinking the same. Don’t even think I can call these things potholes, they’re more like craters.
What amazed me when moving to Tennessee was how much these people litter. What's Up With THAT!?
Disgusting right? That is a pretty new phenomenon… I rarely ever saw litter up until about 4 years ago when we became an “it city” .

Is it easy to garden or grow crops in middle Tennessee? Like tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit trees?
If you have a green thumb!!
Is generally considered safe to go ahead and plant seedlings after 15 April (end the typical last frost)
Thanks for answering my question.
Thank you for being interested in our show!! I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have- They may show up in a future show

you failed to mention our ONLY state school....THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE
This is true! i didn't mention it and I went there , as did my children!. do you have experience at UTK?
What if you made the mistake of posting Historical FACTS and are thrown off Zuckerface Pravda Chanel?
it is a strong probability, but it is a Price I’m willing to pay for honesty🙋🏼♀️
I have 2 dogs who were cremated. I have them in urns ⚱️ can I bury them on my 1 1/2 acre property in Lawrence County 🤔
I don’t think there should be an issue with that at all but if you live in an HOA I would just double check your documents
Of'course

Why do they charge an extra $1 fir each actor renewal for folks who are kind enough to agree to be organ doners?
Good question. No idea. Probably to update records but seems ridiculous I agree

TN cities including the wide Nashville area have very bad sanitation. Hire and pay for litter removal people, since the citizens are nasty.
Please pick another State ,I heard Michigan has a lot of Country side and invites everyone!
