As one who was a tad critical of some earlier video,,,, I likewise compelled to give credit where it's due. Keith had a tough situation and made the most of it. The under-log shot of those hens was remarkable.
You guys are the best!! I went out turkey hunting in Nebraska last year with no knowledge of how these birds move or act. 1 year later after watching every video that you guys put out (annoying the hell out of my girlfriend) and purchasing a cherry classic from woodhaven, I worked a bird for 2 hours and killed him opening morning here in Nebraska. I couldn't have done it without you. I'm so grateful. Thanks and keep pumping out content!!!
U guys have made turkey hunting and hunting in general my third priority in life! Thank u, 1 God, 2 family, 3 hunting, th o u for ur great videos also, they r awesome and full of great information, tips, and tricks!
Gotta give props. I was getting critical in Keith on the last one but it’s good to see how hard he was trying. And no I’m not looking for the kill shot but definitely like to see the birds more. Again, definitely gives more appreciation for how hard you guys try for good video. Been watching for years and still great. Thanks guys
I dont see what Keith was so upset about, he got the kill shot.. in a bunch of thick shit what do the viewers expect. This is how I turkey hunt in central PA they don't come struttin over to the decoys in a lush green field like on TV haha
Yeah I’m in south central and believe it or not we do sit on a field edge but most don’t come into the decoys they’ll definitely take interest in them don’t come running in to them like you would see on TV
Been hunting for over 40 years now.... you guys ain’t hunting..... you’re killing! Every episode.... every day Zach!?!? Fantastic wisdom on your part. Seriously every move you’re making !?! You are a freakin turkey slayin machine! Great video, great, great job! You gotta step up to the bow or go Tim wells with the blow gun!?????
That hunt had a lil bit every exciting moment a turkey hunt has to offer! The unexpected Giant gobbler breeding hens. Hens at feet away while you try no the blink. Two gobblers called in together that made the big swing on the way in! Then boom! And you didn’t even plan on going!!! Gotta love it
I’ve never been interested in turkey hunting. Mainly because it’s a draw system for Merriam Turkey here in Alberta and I live about 8+ hours away from the nearest management zone. I first started watching your channel for the deer hunting, but I could care less if I ever see another deer video again. Turkey hunting is where it’s at. You have to be skilled to track and predict those birds! I especially like the way Zack calls! Stay safe and keep the videos coming! Cheers from Northern Alberta!
That was a great edition to the series! Way to go Zach, that was pretty sweet to watch. Don't sweat it Keith, I think it was just fine. Can't wait to see what's next.
You guys are the best hunting group on RUclips. Don't get me wrong there are a ton of great guys and girls on here that I follow and support but in MY OPINION you all are real as it gets and anyone who has a problem with the footage isn't a real public land hunter and they are just looking for a reason to hate on someone. We love to see a strutter in the wide open at 20yds in perfect focus but real hunters true fans and supporters of THP know that you all go above and beyond to create content for us and we appreciate all of it. Good luck this season and i hope you and all ur families stay healthy and I look forward to all ur future content.
i thought the footage was pretty solid. getting how close those hens came on camera was crazy cool and there may have been some brush in the way of the view if the toms head but you could still see the tom that got blasted so i dont think theres anything to worry about besides cooking dinner
First off, Colin, love what you are doing in the van. No law says you have to be strapped to a wife, 4 kids, a mortgage, 2 giant car payments etc, etc. Nothing in the world wrong with that but there are other paths .......... Thanks again so much for the video and bringing us along. Stay on em and stay healthy !!!
I catch myself every afternoon waiting on your all's video to drop!!! I skip over the other notifications and go straight to THP!!! my favorite is the Tennessee series.
Nice set up on the van camp, very efficient and quick to set up and take down and off to the next spot. Very good video job, you got the kill shot even tho it's in thicker brush but the rest of it was cool too with the hens pretty much on top of you laying flat on the ground like that is good stuff. Tennessee is some pretty rugged and physically demanding territory for even the younger fellas so stay young and healthy guys. Keep them coming and as always be safe my friend.
99% of literature written and 99% of videos are either purely kill shots or geared towards beginners. This show is perfect , it doesn’t need to be geared towards beginners. Get some experience under your belt, and everything you see them do will make sense.
Great all around video guys, From the camp and van is awesome. Guys been a lot of different calls and camo ,But the leaf outfit is probably the best .keep them coming guys, Good Luck
👍 , I just got mine this morning here in Michigan it was a good one, 🙂 had to sneak out with the state shut down 😬 couldn't take it anymore you guys had my adrenaline going watching your videos .
Can yall do a video of really in depth on picking areas to Turkey hunt how they travel what to look for and why do they like some areas over others for beginners like me
Flint River Outdoors Dustin Cagle they have a video about this. but it’s more about ridges and bottoms and stuff. look for scratching, listen to them on the roost in the morning. be in the woods an hour and a half before legal sunrise and listen. they’ll gobble off the roost without any rhyme or reason.
One piece of advice I'd give you is they're always gonna live somewhere close to a water source, typically small creeks or rivers, look for good woods and a waterway and there's usually turkeys nearby
I find myself holding my phone right up to my face and my heart starts beating faster. Lol! You guys hunt the way I like to hunt. Get out and chase em around. Discovered you guys not long ago and love your channel.
Seeing the kill on video is down my list of reasons I watch THP. Don't worry about the kill shot. It's everything else that you all go through to get to that moment that holds my attention. WTG, again. Hey is Jim Ryser hunting birds too? Tell him again, thanks for the great tunes.
OOOOOOOO to be your age again!! but i keep going! i have said this about you guy's before, it's awesome to watch real hunting without all the fill in sale's stuff! your living the dream for sure of a lot a people.
U guys r living my dream man!!!! Gona take by out my oldest boy this weekend for his first turkey hunt where he’s the shooter!! He’s pumped I can’t wait. Keep it up boys you are my tv
No worries about not getting all the shots perfectly on camera. If it were me, I'd be pulling the trigger on them too. We all understand you're trying to hold yourselves to a higher standard, but sometimes it just doesn't work out when you're in the woods and they gotta get some lead! great video as always! I listened to the latest podcast and watching this really ties in to what I heard
You guys have gave me the turkey hunting bug I just don't like hunting in the heat but I'm guessing that it's not always that bad I like how efficient you guys are There's not much room but you make it work
Patience is one thing I’ll forever take to the turkey woods because of my hunt this morning where we set up on a gobbling bird for the better part of three and a half hours and he finally budged and came right on in about midday. Patience pays dividends, wait em out
Thats awesome guys keep up the good work... opening day in Ohio yesterday.. I got mine right off the roost with the bow.. first time I ever got one with the bow.. it was epic..
Amazing camera work. Truly difficult to do and I commend Keith on doing an exceptional job especially with the hens at 10 yards under the log. What an awesome shot. It's not easy setting up on 2 toms walking in on you and having to move to get it on camera AND get a shot off at the same time. At close range, it is very hard to do on public turkeys. Amazing job all around! Congrats on a sweet looking tom!
My first year turkey hunting and it isn't as easy as you guys make it look. Got busted both time out, can't believe how sharp those birds are. Learning and having fun in the outdoors though. Try again tomorrow. U.P. has lots of birds if you get up this way.
Birds don’t even know how screwed they are when you fellas head into the woods!!!! Little do they know you boys have no intention of eating them spaghetti O’s without a turkey leg laying next to em when you get back to camp!! Way to hammer down guys ! Love the channel, keep up the good work!
Awesome footage yes both birds in the frame just to much brush, isn’t it amazing how fast the other birds can get out of there when you shoot like lightning 👍🦃
Forget you three who dislike.!!! Seriously?!?!!?! How you's hate on this.??? Must not be real Hunter's. Keep it up THP MUCH LOVE. Always enjoy everything that y'all do. This is absolutely Hunting at it's core. Looking forward too Soo much more ...
A buddy and I crossed Newfoundland by dirt bike last year and I took a gamble by packing a good quality hammock instead of a tent and never had an issue with un even or rough ground, I could set up and take down in a rain storm without ever getting it wet (hang the rain tarp first and take it down last) and the tarp was big enough that all of my gear stayed directly under the hammock and never even got dew on it. The absolute key to comfort was a blow up mattress specifically made for hammocks that had 4 wings so as to keep me insulated from all sides. My tenting days are done.
Mighty fine hunt! Catching those hens on video from under the log was impressive as well. Never mind these critics who think every kill shot should be wide open hardwoods and see the wad hit them in the face. Real hunting doesn't always work out that way. You guys are doing a helluva job on the hunting and the videoing. Keep after them!
Absolutely love that you guys use the natural sounds from your location! Along with Wild Turkey, my ears tell me you are sharing the woods with Black-and-white Warbler, Northern Cardinal, Carolina Wren, Louisiana Waterthrush, Black-throated Green Warbler, Pine Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Carolina Chickadee, and American Crow. It tells another story of a migration push from the gulf mingling with northern (boreal Candadian) birds that have overwintered in the southern U.S...and the great value of Public Lands!!! Beautiful sounds! Minute 9:50 sequence...birder's paradise! Oh! Northern Parula at 11:36! The migration is on the move! Bringing hope up toward Wisconsin! Nice work!
Good job man nice shootin my opening day bird last year was a haul out just like that I definitely feel for you brother when I got to the top it felt like I was going to die. Good effort and good luck tomorrow guys
Super impressed with the pee flow. He was Clearly very hydrated which means well prepared for the hunt.
Strong streams! Lol
Must be the alpha male in the group lol!
I was more impressed with the camera work getting the view of those hens at ten feet under the log!
I appreciate that. That was an extremely difficult position to be in to make that shot possible.
FOR SURE! That was great mutiple hens at less than ten yards and two hunters flattened out without getting picked off! Good job fellers.
Agreed! That was cool footage.
As one who was a tad critical of some earlier video,,,, I likewise compelled to give credit where it's due. Keith had a tough situation and made the most of it. The under-log shot of those hens was remarkable.
Absolutely! Hard enough to fool a hen that close, let alone navigate a camera and focus it without being detected! Excellent work!
I love this kind of footage. It’s real. I don’t need to see their heads get blown off. I like to see the strategy more than the kill. Awesome filming!
That’s what I call living the life. Living the dream!!!
First turkey this year in Mississippi....10 1/2 in beard, 1 1/8 and 1 3/16 in spurs.
U guys have made turkey hunting and hunting in general my third priority in life! Thank u, 1 God, 2 family, 3 hunting, th o u for ur great videos also, they r awesome and full of great information, tips, and tricks!

Here we go!!! Love the 'behind the scenes' of turkey camp. Crazy how close you guys get to birds. Keep it up and stay safe!
More to come!
What I wouldn't do to meet you guys for an afternoon. I'm addicted to your shows. Both me and my brother. Goodluck and keep up the great work!
Zach looks (and probably smells) like Tarzan.
Tarzan bathed much more often as I recall. Plus he bathed with elephants.
Probably? Absolutely
Gotta love it
THP= Making turkey hunting great again!! Keith, you did just fine filming, don't sweat it man! Congrats a another great thunder chicken.

Great flick. Simple camp, but have everything you need. Keeping it real
That was a great edition to the series! Way to go Zach, that was pretty sweet to watch. Don't sweat it Keith, I think it was just fine. Can't wait to see what's next.
The footage you guys continuously get is unbelievable!

A video that Ted didn’t swing and miss! Excellent episode guys. Still love ya Ted.
LOVE THE VAN VERY COOL SETUP.....Thanks for the tour 🦃👍🏻
i thought the footage was pretty solid. getting how close those hens came on camera was crazy cool and there may have been some brush in the way of the view if the toms head but you could still see the tom that got blasted so i dont think theres anything to worry about besides cooking dinner
Love the moving around and readjusting on those birds. Nicely done guys. Camera work was really good considering. Love these shows!
Killed one at 6:50 this morning on the opening day in WV!! It was an awesome morning!
Me also, but I had to wait till 9:30. congrats on the bird.
I've been watching yall from the very begging and one thing I learned is when Zach starts crawling something will be failing lol. Nice job as always
I catch myself every afternoon waiting on your all's video to drop!!! I skip over the other notifications and go straight to THP!!! my favorite is the Tennessee series.

Awesome way to spend the spring Turkey season, traveling the country. Congratulations on a nice Tom Zach.
Don't apologize for the footage, it's real hunting great job!
Can yall do a FULL rundown on beginners turkey hunting. Where to set up, when to call, etc. please
99% of literature written and 99% of videos are either purely kill shots or geared towards beginners. This show is perfect , it doesn’t need to be geared towards beginners. Get some experience under your belt, and everything you see them do will make sense.

Well done guys. Tennessee turkeys are tough!
ZACK! I figured you for a hammock man. Sweet setup tho, and mature calling! Peace ☮️
That was another awesome hunt guys.
Great bird guys, you earned it, limited footage you get is pretty incredible...
Nice and clear! Well hydrated 👍🏻
Absolutely love that you guys use the natural sounds from your location! Awesome!! Well done and congrat's on a fine hunt. Thanks for sharing!!
LMAO! This must be the Hippie Stoner Group! Where's the weed dude! I KNOW there has to be some in that Van somewhere!
They don't need weed ! They're high on life !! Lol
Who needs weed when the sound of a tom's gobble at 20 yards sends your adrenaline straight to the moon.
