Nice build. You know you have good wood when it breaks the wing tabs off the screw. I don't know about the old double nut maybe put a bit of loctite on them.
Good job but when my fuel pump went out i cut a hole in the bed with chainsaw to fix it. If i do any other flatbed builds i will install a door for the fuel pump.

Nice idea with the u bolt drop tie down but it's going to vibrate to hell especially if you are diesel

You should use tractor trailer decking screws for the decking
