Mindanao in The Philippines is the second largest island in the country to many wonderful things and today we will explore the southern region of the island from the capital city of Davao to the smaller town of General Santos.
We will check out the fish port, seven falls zip-line, and attempt to go on a multiple day road trip of the southern area of South Cotabato.

Excellent video Paddy must say I have been a bit bored with the first few episodes. You are Back on track; this video is epic. Great drone footage. Love the fish market, waterfalls, in creditable views on the zipline. This video is level four for sure!!! We get dependent on google maps and when it does not work, we are totally lost. Perhaps hire a local guide next time.

Beautiful village life , the weather looked amazing. Fresh fish 🐠 market wow how interesting . Now zip line looked like so much fun and scary 😂 so much to see what a way to see the that waterfall and the beautiful country side . That is how vloggers should do if you really are adventurous like Paddy, Mindanao is very underrated but is home to other foreign content creators now, Kulas, KD, TK, Emy & Johan and 8MFH, maybe more...thanks for showcasing the region, gone are the days where perception is sickening but the reality and true safe experience is clearly seen through the eyes of outsiders like them, truly the undisturbed landscapes and non touristy places are awaiting appreciation by everyone.

I moto on my xrm in Mindanao for a year. Drove the coast from Davou to Mati and up to Surigao. Went east and interior Mindanao to Augusan Marsh. Mindanao all started looking the same. Now I'm in Lapu-Lapu, but I'd like to explore Mindanao again.

I just realized you were trying to go to the La Palmera Mountain Ridge in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat which is stunning during sunrise or sunset. I do agree that the roads there are not yet paved and googlemaps is really confusing with its location, maybe cause it's a brand new tourist destination that was discovered more than 2 years ago. It's best to ask the locals of the location but it looks like your on the base of the palm tree plantation.
The Philippines literally has thousands of waterfalls. Some are undiscovered except by the locals who enjoy them!

I found it pretty cool that you didn't go on the whaleshark trip in the last video because of the bad circumstances for those big fish... but yeaaa... tunas are also fish and I am now confused why you're showing a market full of killed fish and even eating them. I don't see a difference just because whalesharks are slightly bigger... in my opinion: If someone kills a tuna, cow, whaleshark, chicken or whatever... its the same. I'm sure people would be very upset if they see someone killing lion... why not with tunas? Anyway I like all those philippine videos... looking forward for more ;)

This is epic. None of the vloggers that I know of the past couple of years binge watching has gone deep down south of the Philippines. So, this is certainly a refreshing take. PS. General Santos is the hometown of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao.
Haven't you seen Kulas of becoming Filipino and kumander Daot in YT? They already ventured to all the danger zone places in Mindanao lol, which most of us Filipinos never gonna go.

Never been home in my province South Cotabato for nearly 20years. A lot has changed. Lake Sebu 7 waterfalls is so different now. They made it accessible to everyone which is nice. I remember in my college days it's not easy to go to those water falls. Punta Isla resort is always expensive but delicious food is always the best there.

paddy you should have coordinated with the provincial tourism office. They can help you sort to visit the lovely places of south cotabato and other sorrounding provinces.
If you really in Mindanao south island , why dont you just communicate with ... Becoming Filipino vlogger ( CANADIAN ) and KOMANDER DAOT vlogger ( BRITISH UK GUY IN MINDANAO)
You should ask the locals for directions. Nearly everyone speaks English in the Philippines.
Paradise is when you grow you own food, no rent, no bills. It's self-sustainability. 😂🎉 In anywhere country.

I love your videos, i can t belive you had the guts to go to Mindanao. That zipline is a dream. I did a very similar one in Mauritius, one of the best experiences of my life. I was planning to go to Moalboal or Badian in Cebu at the end of may especially for kawasan cayoneering, so i was waiting for your opinions. I wish you stayed there more and wait for a sunny day, open roads, show some beaches too. I really wanted to see you jumping in the waterfalls. I am a bit conflicted now if i should choose another island.
Don t loose hope in philli, better days will come because you deserve. Plus, it can always be worse😂, when i was in koh samui the front break of the rented moped gave up right when i was at the top of the island, it was raining too. Basically the moped had a very nice trip down the mountain, i was terrified at the time, but now i think it was such an adventure🤣

Ahh the ziplines are spectacular! Those waterfalls so strong powerful and loudly roaring wow lol. If no google maps, do they have roadmaps? Many here suggesting guides or locals. Lol, they dont know you like we do. They also dont know how well you navigate. Smooth rides are even hard on your back n body much less rocky terrain or adequate mountain bike like DREAMY god you put her through her paces. Hey Zelda, we’ll meet again soon. Nice zipline. Sometimes less touristy is good. Mindanao suffered for a long time, instability due to security issue.
Congrats for braving that zipline (which brought out the Catholic in you, lol) , and Mindanao itself as it has a bad and unfair rep when it comes to tourist safety. So thank you for visiting it. Hope you would consider coming back to Mindanao in the future and visit Bukidnon's Panimahawa Ridge and its vast pineapple plantations 🍍.

Still a developing country. So diversified. Reason why it is hard to reach places. Cause that place is as serene and quiet. Home away from home. Away from chaos life in the cities. Road to development. Hopefully soonest possible. Need to construct road so that local and foreign tourists will enjoy what nature has to offer.
Well no tourist for me is very good to preserve nature.. i like here in mindanao looks untouch nature.. its natural beauty nature not man made..

The Philippines is way behind infrastructure compared to other Asian countries. Suggest you get a garmin gps and not rely on phones

WoW..I didn’t know they do that in general santos…I know there’s a pier,it’s not far from where I live in Davao but never been there and never known that..but I live here now in France since a long time and I’m discovering it with your video..so interesting! I should visit that place imagining myself eating fresh tuna 😋 , roads in mindanao is less developed you should have team up or contact a group of volunteers riders/hikers who knows the road willing to help you for free✌🏼🇫🇷
