I live in Africa. Where I live, no one is fleeing to mountains/hills, because there are none. When Lord Jesus said ''flee to the mountains/hills'' he was speaking to a Jewish audience. Could it be that 'those who must flee' is referring to the Jews living in Israel at the time of the abomination? Perhaps it's referring to the Jews who realized they made a huge mistake, trusting the anti-Christ? Making a 7-year peace agreement with him, only to see him break that agreement after 3 years 6 months?

You got it Annie! That's exactly correct! 💯
You always have to look at who is speaking, who's the intended audience, and then the times and application.
The ones who are told to flee when they see those things; ARE the Jews. Notice: That it specifically mentioned those who are in Judea. It specifically says who it's to, and what to do, and the time is when they see those signs. Also, note that it's immediate, there is no warning ahead of time.

It is only the Jews who have to flee because the Abomination (maybe a minaret?) will be placed in Jerusalem. It is the voice of the Abomination that forces all to bow, so only those in hearing range need to flee.

That's not correct. So the great tribulation is only 3.5yrs, not 7. Biblically speaking. The 70th week of Daniel is the last 7yrs, people commonly make this assumption that they're the same. God is very clear on this. Isreal signs a contract between them and the many. Muslims didn't exist at that time, so John didn't say Muslims. 3.5yrs after they sign this peace agreement to build the temple, the antichrist sits in the temple and claims he is God. That's what starts the last 3.5yrs, the great tribulation. The reason He tells them to flee when they see this is because the antichrist will give a command to kill all jews and PUT THE CHURCH TO FLIGHT. People do not like that Paul says this because it doesn't fit want they want to believe. He says caution to those living in Jerusalem on the sabbath because they will try to stone you to this day for driving, etc. The church is all through the book of Revelation, like 5x. Every time the rapture is mentioned with a time stamp it's always after the tribulation. 7x like a thief is mentioned, 5 of them have a time reference and all 5 are post trib. The servant who was doing well God was pleased, but if that SAME SERVANT were drinking with the drunkards and beating the maids he will return and cut him into pieces. Does that sound like a pre trib. No, he doesnt get 7 more years to get it right. The 5 virgins who fell asleep and ran out of oil are cast out, not given more time. Them the harvest of the tares and wheat. Jesus explains it clearly. Let them grow together until the end of the age. Then gather the tares 1st andbput them aside. Revelation says the armies of antichrist will be gathered in the valley of magido. Then harvest the wheat and put it up in the barn, that's the rapture, then burn the tares, thats the destruction of the wicked. You don't need to do scriptural gymnastics to try and make a scriptur say something it doesn't say. The Bible is clear.

Great video. Just a quick note: at 17:52 you say that Paul says there will be peace and safety before the rapture. Actually it is "they" who shall say "peace and safety" (1 Thess 5:3). Here is the full verse again: "For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them". That doesn't necessarily mean that there will actually be peace and safety before the rapture, but rather an increase of peace and safety talks. And this is exactely what we're witnessing these days. Right now you hear "peace and safety" everywhere. So let's be on the alert. Maranatha ❤

Balanced scripture indicates that when the Antichrist is revealed and confirms the covenant of Dan9:27 and Dan11:28,30 we can expect the world and especially the Jews will proclaim “Peace and Security” in Israel and the Middle East - enough”Peace and safety” (1Thess5:3 KJV) to allow the Jews to rebuild their temple and resume their daily sacrifice, until the Antichrist suddenly causes the daily sacrifice to cease so that he can sit in the temple and proclaim himself “as God”. The one critical element to Matthew 24 is that it states this:
"For as in the days of that were before the flood THEY were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe (Noah) entered into the ark, and knew not until the FLOOD CAME, and TOOK THEM ALL AWAY; so shall also the COMING of the SON OF MAN be."
    - context - "they" are the people of the earth who didn't listen to Noah's warning, and it was "them" who were TAKEN ALL away. What CAME and took them? The FLOOD. What does Jesus (Son of man) compare himself to? The Flood. So shall also HIS COMING be.. now back to Matthew -
"THEN shall two be in the field; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other LEFT."
    - context - Then? This is the coming of the Son of man, which is like the coming of the Flood in Noah's day. One is TAKEN - who is taken away by the Flood in Noah's day? THEY ALL were - the ones who were living life as though Noah's warnings meant nothing.
Matthew 24 does not support a pre-tribulation rapture. Quite the opposite. Matthew 24 explains quite effectively exactly what happens to those who are not paying attention to the signs. They are TAKEN. But where?
Matthew 24:50-51 - "The lord of that servant shall COME in a day when he (the servant) looketh not for him (the servant's lord), and in an hour that he (the servant) is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with THE HYPOCRITES: there shall be WEEPING and GNASHING OF TEETH."
    - context - weeping and gnashing of teeth? That passage links back to Matthew 8. Here, Jesus is marveling at the faith of the Gentile centurion:
Matthew 8:10-12 - "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and the west (Gentiles), and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom (Israel) shall be CAST OUT into OUTER DARKNESS: there shall be WEEPING and GNASHING OF TEETH."
I'll leave you with this, now, which is the other instance of taking that's directly associated with Paul, in Acts 28:
"And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. And when Paul had *gathered* a bundle of sticks and laid them on the FIRE, there came a VIPER out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said amongst themselves No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the FIRE, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked where he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly; but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god."
My friends, Acts 28 is the micro story of what it means to share the gospel truth to the world. The barbarians are the unbelievers who yet received the Gospel, as Jesus says wherein you show kindness to a stranger, you show kindness to me. Paul gathers up the sticks and throws them on the fire, and a venomous serpent comes out and bites him. The serpent is Satan. But who are the sticks that were gathered up? Note that they're cast into the fire, and Peter states, emphatically, that the coming of the Lord will be judgment by *fire*. Because that's what exposes Satan, at the end. As God gathers up the lifeless sticks and throws them into the fire, Satan reveals himself and tries to kill him, but God shakes him off into the fire, just as Paul does the serpent, to join the rest, while those who welcomed Paul have a change of heart about him, and consider him a god. Pretty sure he laughed at that notion, but you should no doubt now recognize the way God works through his faithful.
And think of what he says, in the beatitudes:
Matthew 5:5 - "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit THE EARTH."
One will be taken, the other left. Those who are left, where are they left? They are left here, to receive Jesus' promise. Jesus will take these unto himself in the clouds while the former earth passes away, and God will make a new heaven and a new earth, and the meek shall inherit it.
Repent, everyone. For the love of God repent, and study the word of God as though your lives depended on it, because they do.

Scripture does not mention that ungodly unbelievers will be caught up... Its says that the dead IN CHRIST and we that are still alive IN CHRIST will be caught up together. So you will have to go back to your drawing board and come up with something else to bring to the table.

    • @Duskrunner
      @Duskrunner 5 месяцев назад +3

@@norakotze2575 you are right, it is we who are caught up together to Christ in the time of the harvest. The others, on the other hand, are caught up and destroyed. Please follow, I pray, as we go through this:
Matthew 13:24-30 - Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, "Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in they field? From whence then hath it tares?"
And he said unto them, "An enemy hath done this." The servants said unto him, "Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?"
But he said, "Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the time of the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, 'Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
Gather first the tares, bind them in bundles to burn them. Gather the wheat into his barn. He then explains.
Matthew 13:37-43 - He answered and said unto them, "He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.
"The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
"Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
The children of the wicked one are GATHERED FIRST, THEN the righteous shine forth. I'm only sharing this so that you see what's being taught here. There's no middle ground. There's no distinction except two different children, the children of the kingdom, and the children of the wicked one. And this happens at the end of the world.
      ***
But what about the dead in Christ that you asked about? In Matthew 24 Jesus asks us to contemplate what is spoken of in Daniel. So in the last chapter of Daniel, we find this:
Daniel 12:1-4 - And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Here you find that God speaks to Daniel, and he addresses "that time" - which time? The time of the end. God is passing his prophecy to Daniel in order to seal it up, until the time of the end. But then, who are "thy people" - the people of Daniel? Aren't they the Jews? At the time of the writing of this book, they are, but there's also something that happens with the Jews, over the course of Christ's ministry. Please consider John, as you move forward in your studies:
John 10:11-16 - "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
"I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
Other sheep? Whom is Jesus talking about? As Paul states emphatically throughout his teachings, these "other sheep" are the Gentiles that believe in Jesus. The wild shoot grafted into the olive tree. One fold. One shepherd. Jesus is indeed coming for us - all of us - at the same time. First the wicked, to be taken away and cut asunder and appointed their portion with the hypocrites, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matt 24:51) and then we who have died in Christ will rise first, and then those of us who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them.
      ***
Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2 explains something else, as well, a sign that we should be well aware of:
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 - Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
The falling away happens first, then the revealing of the son of perdition, who is antichrist. That Wicked revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth.
      ***
I'm sharing this with you because you asked me to do so. I pray it lands home. God bless.

@@Duskrunner Your timing of the "Dead in Christ" is inconsistent with John 5:25-29 where Jesus speaks of 2 separate raisings of the dead. One in which those who are capable of hearing His voice will rise to life (the dead in Christ) and then a later hour when all who are dead will hear His voice and rise, those that have done good to life and those who have done evil to judgment. As far as Daniel shutting up the book until the time of the end, the end times began during the times of the apostles until now. See 1 Peter1:20 and Hebrews 1:2

    • @Duskrunner
      @Duskrunner 2 месяца назад

@@user-kr4vj7sc5s Roadready the timing of the first of the two separate instances of dead coming out of their graves is indicated in Matthew 27:52-53:
      - And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The time Jesus speaks of in John 5 says specifically that the hour is coming, and now is, for these saints to arise, meaning that it was impending. He then speaks of another hour that is coming - but he does not say that this hour now is - in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice. Both the ones that do good, and the ones that do evil.
The last days phrasing in 1 Peter and Hebrews (might as well link Galatians 4:4) I can more readily see your interpretation, and indeed, it's my belief that the continued teaching of the early apostles would have certainly referred to their time as "the last days" as this was how we were all supposed to treat every day, however, I also attach a little bit of this meaning, too - both Peter and Hebrews refer to a significant passage of time. Both mention Jesus being there in the beginning, being "foreordained before the foundation of the world" and "by whom also he made the worlds". The "last days" and "last times" spoken of in these passages mark the last events to have taken place after indicating that Jesus was there at the beginning, and was now here at the end. So far as Peter and the author of Hebrews were concerned, from the beginning of the world until their time, they were at the end cap of this time frame. This is what Paul is referring to in Galatians when he says the "fulness of time" - Jesus arrived at exactly the point all the prophets had indicated. You would liken it to Israel being a pregnant woman, and giving birth after the fulness of her pregnancy. See Revelation 12.
We also know that the "time" they are both referring to was Jesus' time - very rapidly the Time of the Gentiles is taking over in Peter and Paul's day - so this, more likely, is their reference to what they understood to be the last days of the old way they'd been doing things - a new time was upon them. One that they had no idea how long would last. This is why Paul - who is frequently believed to be the author of Hebrews, though that's not proven fact - mentions in 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3
"That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there coming a great falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
So effectively, Paul was telling the Thessalonians not to freak out that the day of the Lord was upon them just because somebody said so. They knew the signs to look for. A great falling away, and that man of sin - the Antichrist - be revealed, these had to happen first. But they hadn't happened yet, and that was a key point. Notice also, what Jesus says, in Matthew 24:48-51
"But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of."
We know the good and evil servants are believers and non-believers. We know that the non-believers will say to any that will hear "God sure is taking his time returning" - so we know that the apostles expected a significant passage of time to take place - enough that it would cause un-believers to question their claim that Christ's return was imminent.
Then we go to Peter, who in 2 Peter 3, states:
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
So Peter, himself who previously referred to the last times, now is informing the reader that there SHALL come - not already is - scoffers, and will be saying "Where is the promise of his coming?" much like Jesus says in Matthew 24 that if the evil servant will say in his heart "the lord delayeth his coming". It feels clear to me that the apostles, while acknowledging that they were present for fulfillment of all these prophesies in Christ, yet knew that there was more to come. Was Daniel's mystery revealed at this time? We know that there's another indiscriminant passage of time in Daniel 12:
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."
We're supposed to be observing a time of increased human movement, and increased knowledge. Amos refers to this in 8:11-12 -
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the world of the LORD, and shall not find it."
This is the time the apostles are anticipating. This is the time where Daniel's book is meant to be sealed until.

From the comments, it's easy to see the confusion. Everybody has their personal take on it. I can see the evidence for all arguments.
One thing is clear, though - we ALL want to be in the rapture - whenever it occurs. Let's focus on what it takes to be in the rapture -
whenever it occurs. > Obedience to the Word of God. Repent - be baptized - receive the Holy Spirit - submit to Him in humble obedience.
And "watch and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape these things that will come to pass . . . " ~ Luke 21:36
I truly hope to see you all there. And more importantly - I hope you see me there. (I hope I am counted worthy.)

@@Kman. Of course, we do have that assurance that we are saved. However, we are warned explicitly by Paul about becoming complacent - thinking “we have arrived” - that there’s “no more to be done.”
      - neglecting our salvation (Hebrews 2:3)
      - which causes us to start doubting - thus entering into unbelief (Hebrews 3:12)
      - causing us to become disobedient (Hebrews 4:6)
      - those who were once enlightened fall away (Hebrews 6:4-6)
      * Let’s remember that Lucifer served at the very throne of God - and fell away.
      - sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth (Hebrews 10:26-27)
      - there are those who do draw back into perdition (Hebrews 10:38-39)
It’s vital to keep the parable of the Ten Virgins in mind always. Let’s not become foolish.
I see a great many professing Christians who have become delusional - thinking - saying outright that they are “good with God.” That is a dangerous position to be in. We must never think that “we have arrived.” The closer one draws to the absolute holiness of God - the more one’s impurities are exposed. Those impurities are there and must be dealt with. The WHOLE WORD OF GOD must be adhered to - including the Sabbath - including abandoning the pagan practices of Christmas and Easter and Halloween and Burning Man - including the abstaining from over-indulging in fancy foods (Philippians 3:18-19) - knowing that the “old man” is with us to the end and is always scheming against us to cause us to sin - and so much more that we absolutely must become strictly obedient to. Strict obedience IS holiness.
Obedience to the Word of God is the thermometer that determines whether you are HOT or COLD or LUKEWARM. (Revelation 3:15-16) We must ENDURE to the end. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)
God forbid that I should ever think "I AM WORTHY" - but I pray always that He would count me worthy.

@@Kman. Keeping the Sabbath is not what saves us. It is the grace of God - the free gift of God - the Holy Spirit of the living God who dwells in us - giving us the POWER TO BECOME the sons of God (John 1:12 & Acts 1:8) giving us the POWER TO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God - making us the sons of God. We cannot keep His commandments in our fallen nature. Our fallen nature has no desire to keep His commandments. Only by His Spirit and His power do we desire to keep them and become able to keep them. By His Spirit we delight in keeping His Sabbaths - and all of His commandments. We delight in pleasing Him - in doing that which is right in His eyes. "You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you . . ." (Deuteronomy 6:17-18.)
Keeping His Sabbaths IS THE SIGN that you are His. He said: " ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death . . . " - (Exodus 31:12-17.)
Now he who keeps His commandments (all 10) abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us (1 John 3:24)
Keeping His commandments (all 10) is what gives us the right to the tree of life and allows us to enter in through the gates into the city (Revelation 22:14.)
The parable of the 10 virgins perfectly describes Christians waiting and watching for the return of the Master. All 10 were believers. All 10 had faith. All 10 had the initial filling of the Holy Spirit (the oil) - but 5 of them neglected their salvation - were caught up in the world - thus their oil was running out and their lamps were going out (their faith was becoming weak) - they had to go and "buy some oil" (repent, return to the Lord, pray for forgiveness) - but they were not ready when the Lord returned and were shut out. "Watch, and pray always . . . " (Luke 21:36)

The gathering of the saints occurs after the great tribulation period. Matthew 24:29-31 "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days..."
The saints are given rest at the appearing of the Lord in power and glory. 2 Thess 1:7,8 "and to give you who are troubled rest with us WHEN THE LORD JESUS IS REVEALED from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Saints martyred during the great tribulation take part in the FIRST resurrection. Therefore this First resurrection is post-tribulational. Also, 'First' always means that there were none before it. Revelation 20:4-6 Scripture identifies only ONE (general) resurrection of the righteous... proving that the resurrection of 1 Thess 4:16 is post-trib.

It amazes me how many people jump ALL over the Bible to try to figure out when the rapture will take place, when there are only TWO passages you need to address.
You are right on with the 1 Thess 4:16-17 passage. It clearly lays out the order.
[1Th 4:16-17 NASB95] 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of [the] archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 THEN we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Note, as you mentioned the Dead in Christ RISE FIRST, THEN we who are alive and remain are caught up, or raptured.
So right off the bat we KNOW the resurrection takes place BEFORE the Rapture. Well guess what? Rev 20:4-5 tells us the FIRST resurrection INCLUDES those who were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, who REFUSED to take the mark or worship the beast.
[Rev 20:4-5 NASB95] 4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I [saw] the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. THIS [is] the FIRST resurrection.
So, if the FIRST resurrection includes those martyred by the antichrist for NOT worshipping him or taking his mark and the rapture takes place AFTER a resurrection, there is NO way that can happen before the tribulation and the martyrdom of the Saints, since they are included in the FIRST Resurrection.
Paul, then gives one more detail in 1 Cor 15... Not necessary to prove the post trib rapture, but nails it down and makes it even more specific.
[1Co 15:52 NASB95] 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMPET; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
Perfectly syncs with 1 Thes 4, but adds one more detail about it being the LAST trumpet. The 7th Trumpet IS the LAST Trumper mentioned in the Bible, and although it's POSSIBLE there is another trumpet after that one, that isn't mentioned in the Bible, it would be impossible for the resurrection and rapture to take place BEFORE the last Trumpet mentioned in the Bible. However, the 7th Trumpet fits perfectly as the last Trumpet as it is the Start of the 7 bowls of wrath, comes with the shout of the archangel and starts the Lord's return in judgment.

    • @HB_IE52829
      @HB_IE52829 9 дней назад

You misinterpreted the timing of events in revelation and never asked yourself how revelation talks about those beheaded but not at all about the dead in christ.
You need to consider all scripture and not just 2 versus.
That the 7th trumpet of revelation is the last trumpet that triggeres the rapture is just an assumption. It could also be a different sequence of God's trumpets to trigger all saints and angels to get up and ready. You make the huge mistake to forget your own assumptions. Most people do and then get caught emotionally in discussions that do not really matter that much.
Post trib and pre-wrath are more likely based on false doctrine of purgatory. Most believers in history did not die for their beliefs and nobody ever faced a tribulation that is triggered by opening the scroll of .... what exactly??? It's the scroll if judgment opened by Christ. Jesus paid the price. God is just. God doesn't give you hard times but other not

There are things that are overlooked.
    1. Jesus or the bible never talked about Jesus coming back in two fases.
    2. The verse that talks about being caught up to meet the Lord, says we'll then be with the Lord FOREVER. So if people are taken to heaven then they will be in heaven with the Lord forever and will never come back to earth. But the prophecy of Daniel says Jesus will rule on this earth.
    3. Jesus doesn't need to show up in the air to get people into heaven, because Paul was once caught up into heaven without Jesus showing up. The same applies to John of revelation and the same with Elijah and Enoch.
    4. The bible only says we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air . It didn't say and we will be taken to heaven together with him. And doesn't meeting him in the air mean more like meeting someone who is coming to you than someone coming to take you away?
    5. The mountain sermon also never divided the coming into two.
People want to believe they won't go through the tribulation but God's people going through tribulation won't be new then. It's easier to go through something expected than an unexpected one.

*I Thess **4:17* says, "...so shall we ever be with the Lord.", so it *DOESN'T* say we'll be in HEAVEN for eternity, rather we shall be with *HIM* forever, _WHEREVER_ He is. This is basic grammar Ray. To the *3rd* point you were attempting to make...
The verse C L E A R L Y & *PLAINLY* states that we "meet the Lord in the air", so you're wanting to argue the plain TEXT? I don't get it brother. That leads to your *FOURTH* point you're wanting to make as some sort of an argument...
In HEAVEN, the church undergoes both the Bema Judgment & the marriage to the Lamb. That makes us fit to return *TO* earth w/Christ like we read in several passages, so if we don't go to HEAVEN (the place Christ has been preparing for us BTW), then you just scrubbed all of that from our future.
The scenario you're trying to paint is discombobulated. There's a *HOST* of passages that can debunk it, but for one, allow me to bring up a few of those...
*I Thess **5:13**ff,* we find Paul having to teach the believers of the rapture, and WHY? Simply put, they had never been taught...
*=====>* "But I would not have you to be IGNORANT, brethren..."
Then, in the very next few verses, we find Paul stating that they WERE on the o/hand, quite learned on a matter, that of the tribulation/2nd coming...
*=====>* "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have NO NEED that I write unto you. For yourselves KNOW PERFECTLY that the day of the Lord so cometh..."
      We *C A N N O T* be both learned, & unlearned about the same matter...ignorant, yet informed...in the dark, & in the know...clueless, but cognizant, etc...
That being true, the verses C L E A R L Y & *PLAINLY* tell us, that there is the rapture which is *ONE* event, and the return of Christ to earth a 2nd event altogether.

All am about is some believes have serious consequences if they are wrong.

Where is Christ now? Lemme answer...in HEAVEN, agree? Christ tells us in *John 14* that where HE is, we shall ALSO be. It doesn't state that where WE are, that He shall come to US.
Christ does not establish His kingdom on earth till the END of the tribulation when He returns. It is not till then & HERE, that He sets up His throne in Jerusalem. *Rev 20:1* begins by saying, ‘And I saw an angel come down FROM heaven…”. Again, if we don't go to HEAVEN as *John 14* tells us (the place He's been preparing for us), then you have to account for both the Bema & the marriage. Keep in mind while you consider that, for when He returns to EARTH, He rules as KING, not judge.
Now, you keep bringing up the two PHASES of Christ's return, but you really bring no argument. I could reply with the SAME "NO" argument & ask, "Where does it say in the bible that Christ will *NOT* come in 2 phases?" See how that works? Look...
You've not addressed the text from *I Thess 4* through *I Thess 5:1,2* which CLEARLY indicate there are two separate events, so I hesitate to even introduce any more. You present a straw man at best brother. Coming *FOR* us is obviously different than coming *WITH* us like what will take place at His return to earth @ the end of the tribulation.
You see, placing the CHURCH here on earth for the tribulation is s/thing you've not established from scripture. Where can we find in the bible, *WHY* the church needs to be here? Got a passage...even a VERSE?

Jesus did not teach about the Rapture in 24:36-44. The people who are taken in that passage are taken in judgement like those taken by the sudden great flood, or like the tares taken away from the wheat to be burned.
Jesus does teach about the Rapture/Snatching up in Mathew 24:29-31, the part of Mathew 24 Paul is elaborating on primarily as he explains where the ressurection of the dead in christ fits with that order of events. Trumpet>Ressurection>Gathering/Rapture. All of this Jesus tought happens "immediately after those days", those days being the great tribulation which he described in 24:15-28.
The mistake you make which I see every pre-triber make is you take numerous passages referring to the wrath of God such as "we are not appointed to wrath" and wrongly apply it to the tribulation and not to the judgement of Hell. And it's very easy to disprove it referring to the tribulation, because if mere tribulation counted as the wrath of God, then what about Peter who was crucified upside down, or Paul being beheaded or Thomas being speared or the thousands of other martyrs for Christian faith across the centuries.... do they not disprove the notion that we are not appointed to wrath if wrath can refer tribulation?
The Great Tribulation is never referred to as the wrath of God. The Final bowl judgments and the final final judgement and Hell is, but Satan setting up an abomination at the temple and the persecution of God's belivers is never called God's wrath.

"MERE" tribulation is not what the conversation is about, but "THEE" tribulation. God's plan is *NOT* for the church to be present for "THEE" tribulation, & if you think so, what scripture gives us the *"WHY"* for that? Is the *PURPOSE* the church would have to undergo the tribulation tucked away s/where in the bible?
The wrath of God is currently in force, for we read in *John 3:36* "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God *ABIDETH* on him." Should s/one stay in their unbelief & die w/o Christ, that same WRATH will be acted out in full measure, the fires of hell & eternity w/o God. That being true...
When we read in *I Thess **1:10* where it says, "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.", we know that the only wrath *TO COME* is that of the tribulation. The context throughout both books of Thessalonians is all about the rapture/tribulation...the subject being dealt with is NOT hell. That being true...
The tribulation period as a whole is clearly marked as the "WRATH" of God. Goodness...even in *Rev 6:17* we read that it is LOST people that will make the declaration, that what's been going on is the WRATH of God, so I would think that, those of us who've got the Holy Spirit of God in them would be able to make that observation as well.

The rapture and 2nd coming are two separate events. The rapture begins the Day of the Lord (Daniel’s Tribulation week) and the 2nd coming is the day of the Lord proper 1:45 culminating with the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom. At the 2nd coming no one is left to sleep in bed or grind at the wheel, making that language somewhat non-sensical. The word taken (Paralambano in the Greek) is the same word Jesus used for coming again and receiving his disciples like a Groom receives a bride not the taking away for punishment which would be a different Greek word (Haireo)

Larry. There is no reason for the Church to be present during the tribulation. The church is waiting for the rapture event. Check Daniel 9:26 and follows . It is a time for Jacob. Israel. Not the Church. The tribulation is period to bring the Jews who are not believers in Messiah to return to faith that Jesus is their savior. The Church already acknowledges Jesus as savior so no tribulation for the Church.

Rethink that by going back and reading Matt 16:18. Jesus specifically said the gates of hell would never prevail over His church. As you said in Rev 13:7 Satan through the Antichrist completely conquers the saints. If the saints in Rev. 13 are the church…..Jesus LIED. Do you honestly believe that? Jesus proves by Matt. 16:18 “saints” in Rev 13 are NOT the church. They are hagios in the Greek, not ekklesia. They are not referred to as “in Christ”, or the “body of Christ”, “bride of Christ”, or any other NT reference referring specifically to the Church. Hagios is found several places referring to faithful men as “hagios” in the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Old Testament. They weren’t the church as the church didn’t exist yet. There is NO reason scripturally to think saints in Rev are the church, that is a presumption and an interpretation error.
Remember Jesus promised the gates of hell would never prevail over His church, He never promised the gates of hell would never prevail over believers who come to faith during the Tribulation. The rapture itself will bring many left behind to faith in Christ, so will the 144k and the 2 witnesses. There will be multitudes of believers in the Tribulation, but they are not the church. Matt 16:18 is one of the proof texts the church is removed BEFORE Satan is given full authority over the earth during the Tribulation. Otherwise Jesus lied. If you believe the Church is in the Tribulation you have to believe Jesus didn’t tell Peter the truth.

Puzzling question ?? I appreciate your video about the Rapture (caught up/taken). Why do you mix PROPHECY portion of scripture with the MYSTERY portion ???
The Mystery that was hidden WISDOM (1 CORINTHIANS 2:7-8) … RIGHTING DIVINING THE WORD OF TRUTH (2 TIMOTHY 2:15)…
GENESIS 1:1 In the beginning GOD created the HEAVEN and the EARTH (2 KINGDOMS 2 REALMS) The “WORD” which is Father, Son, Holy Spirit did explain at the Olivet discourse (MATHEW 24) Jesus CHRIST(SON OF MAN) about the SECOND COMING and being “TAKEN” - KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (EARTH). BUT Paul the APOSTLE to the GENTILES taught the BODY OF CHRIST (HEAVEN) from CHRIST JESUS the risen savior the hidden wisdom (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). In 1 Thessalonians 4 & 5 is a compare and contrast the “Hidden” wisdom from the Prophecy that was told to the prophets of old. What PAUL taught is Hidden wisdom not prophecy and to combine or mix prophecy program to the House of Israel - Jacob with the HIDDEN wisdom to Paul - Body of Christ the Heavenly is not RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH. For example the difference THINK the Tower of Babel. Father God disinherited mankind and then Choose Abram who became Abraham, FATHER GOD created his own people/family THAT became ISRAEL thru JACOB and his 12 sons. Then Moses gave the LAW and the prophets prophesied. PAUL the apostle to the GENTILES (NEITHER JEW OR GREEK) taught the teaching of the risen KING our savior CHRIST JESUS the HIDDEN WISDOM. TOWER OF BABEL and disinherited nations were brought back home with the Body of Christ a different dispensation - family.
We should not mix Prophecy with Mystery , one is Earthly Kingdom and one is Heavenly Kingdom that our Savior the Risen Christ Jesus rules over .

Gonna re-watch this to make sure you got all points right, but indeed the Rapture will be before
the "Great Tribulation" also called "Jacob's Trouble" in the Old Testament.
Btw., the Rapture in 1. Thess 4 and 1. Corinthians 15 are different events.
You can see that, when you look at the wording of 1. Corinthians 15, when Paul reveals a "mystery".
Since the first letter to the Thessalonians was written before the first letter to the Corinthians, Paul must speak about a different event.
Otherwise it wouldn't be a "mystery".
    1. Thess 4 refers to the Rapture of Pre-Trib Saints and 1 Corinthians 15 refers to the Rapture of Tribulation Saints, since even in the Tribulation period people can be saved.
There can also multiple resurrections, if you look at Matthew 27:52
"And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,"
    ~Matthew 27:52
You can confirm that, if you look at 1. Corinthians 15:23
“But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.”
    ~1. Corinthians 15:23
    God bless you brother!

I've found that you refer to Matthew 24:40 as Jesus teaching the rapture with other words.
Yes, he is teaching a rapture, but it is a different one. If you read the context about staying alert and not indulging in worldly things.
You can see that, when he says 3 verses after Matthew 24:40
"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
      ~Matthew 24:43-44
And also the passage after talks about the faithful and the evil servant. The one who is taken away(thrown out to where the weeping and gnashing of teeth is), is the evil servant and not the faithful one.
So this rapture is a rapture of the disobedient and godless people.
Here is the passage Jesus talking about(right after Matthew 24:40-44)
"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
      But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
      And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
      ~Matthew 24:45-51
To show you, that it's not only mentioned there->Look at the reference passage in
Revelation 14:14-16, where the fruit is reaped, because it got overripe(see the Hebrew word "xeraino", which means dry)->These dry fruits are referring to the saints, that had to endure the Tribulation and couldn't buy or sell, so they starved to death(dried out). These are people who became believers after the Pre-Trib Rapture. That's why they have to believe AND work to come to Jesus. They must resist the Devil in order to not get the mark etc.
      Here's the passage:
"And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped."
      ~Revelation 14:14-16
->You can also see that "Son of man" is mentioned. This reaping is done by Jesus
      and
Revelation 14:17-20, where fruit is reaped, that couldn't resist the Devil and started drinking and beating others, how it is described in Matthew 24:45-51. That's why here in this passage the "winepress" and "clusters of the vine" and "fully ripe grapes" are mentioned. They were not alert and disregarded the warnings of Jesus.
      Here's the passage:
"And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs."
      ~Revelation 14:17-20
      I hope I didn't forget anything.
      God bless you!

@@jimmattson8008 You know there is a constant theme in the book of Revelation. That is the wrath of God poured out onto a wicked world. It says they would not repent of their wicked ways but continue to curse God even in their pain. There is another wrath that everyone seems to overlook. At the end of chapter six, it says that all the mighty men, free and bondman, etc. cursed God and asked the rocks to fall on them and hid them from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? So this is the wrath of Jesus. Do you really think He is pouring out His wrath upon the Bride of Christ at this point? Another very interesting thought about this book, is that the Bride of Christ, the churches, are only mentioned in the first several chapters, and not again for the rest of the book. Could it be the we are already with the Lord? According to Paul in I Thessalonians 4:13 we are "snatched-away" to meet the Lord in the air. And he says don't worry God will bring with Him those who are already asleep in Christ. Then in chapter five he continues to say only those who are in darkness will not be ready for the day of the Lord. But when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction will come upon them and they shall not escape. Then verse 9, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."
Another aspect of this Revelation is that it really concerns the nation of Israel. Because they rejected their King and Messiah, God pours out his wrath upon them as well as the rest of the wicked world. Recall what Hosea said, 5:15, "I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early." Also, 6:1-3, "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." Didn't Jesus say He was the living waters, that if they drank of Him, they would never thirst?
Finally, Jesus said, Matthew 23:37-39, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." Where does Jesus return to when He comes back to reign? Jerusalem. Peace Brother.

Here is the period of “peace and safety” before sudden destruction:

Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.“

Very good video. You are certainly knowledgeable.
    Some questions:
    1. Mat 24. 15, 21, 29-31
We see the abomination of desolation as spoken by Daniel the prophet....21.For then shall be great tribulation...29...immediately after the tribulation....you see the sign of son of man, and his angel will gather his elect.
    Pretty clear.
    2. 2nd Thess.2 I beseech you by our gathering together unto Him and the coming of the Lord. .do not be troubled....or deceived, for that day will NOT come except there come a falling away FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
It goes to say that the AC will use ALL deceivableness of unrighteousness unto them that perish WHY? because they received not the love of the truth that they should be saved.
Like you said in your previous videos . Truth would be cast down..
Anyway, how can they get saved unless we are still here to teach them. Yes, l know there are some that believe the 144, 000 are young Jews who suddenly get saved in the tribulation, who knows.
Then what about Daniel 11:33, 34,
The wise are instructing even then, and being made white even unto the time of the end.
So, let's consider those points too.

      Further to my comments:
      Regarding Peace and Safety.
Someone else said in the comments, " we here so much talk of peace"
Well, sorry, really l don't know what planet you live on our military industrial complex and it's US, UK, Nato stooges, all back Ukraine to the hilt. The US has promised another ten years support...and who is suing for peace in that conflict. And what more can we say of Gaza and Israel?
If the AC barbers an agreement on this, " the Holy covenant " then they will say, " who is like unto him, who can make war against him"
Here we see the while horse of Rev.6:2 the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation could be described as a plastic peace, but once the AC' s heart is grieved against the covenant Dan 11: 30, 31, he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease and place the abomination that make the desolate.
My final point for now is a rather emotional one to consider.
Would you not agree that generally today's church far more in apostasy than at almost any other time.
Yet, what of all the Russian Christians who died under Stalin, or the millions who died because of Moa in China, not to say of the Jews in Germany, should they not have been raptured?
Ah, you say, are we not delivered from the wrath to come?
Well, l take comfort at the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Then for sure we will be with the Lord, while all he'll breaks loose on earth.
      Buckle up....

Only to a dispensationalist , do they believe that Paul taught about the rapture. All of thess is written in the present time period. In other words, his tone and phrases were all in the present time to come.
All prophecies in the bible were written and stated as a prophecy about the future. It was obviously very clear in the Old testament. The first prophecy in the New Testament was written as a prophecy soon to come in Matt 24, which all of it came to pass because all the epistles and apostles warned others about the destruction of the temple to come because Jesus had already warned them. The book of Thess was exactly about that which was about to occur and not things for the far future they would never see. Obviously, they were expecting something to come and it did in 70 AD

Common sense really but alot of people don't use it...We can't make verses fit the way we want to see it..but how God wants us to see it in TRUTH..the meaning of Jesus!

Can you seriously imagine a day when people around the world will say peace and safety considering the world in which we live? I suspect this might be said during the time of the Antichrist with a 1 world government prior to the abomination that causes desolation.... I do acknowledge that there would be few to flee to the mountains between a mid-trib rapture and the time of fleeing.
I think the church will go through a period of persecution unlike any ever seen and therefore I believe that the rapture will take place just prior to the 45 days talked about in an earlier video..... BUT I admit I am not an authority, but just feel that pre-trib rapture people tend to think God will spare the church from the Tribulation due to His loving nature but I think that we will be spared from His wrath, but not the world's response to the wrath. I think God's people have faced persecution throughout history and will again of a magnitude never before seen. If the rapture does not happen prior to the tribulation I fear many will lose heart and fall away because they are ill-prepared.

All pre-tribbers assume that when believers go to meet Jesus in the clouds, they would then continue on to heaven. There is nothing in the bible on which to base this assumption. But the common usage of the Rapture word in Latin would suggest that they would then escort Jesus back to the earth, as they would customarily honor someone famous. This would indicate that the purpose of Jesus' coming is the Second Coming. Also, what does this gentleman do about the abomination of desolation that Jesus describes in the Olivet Discourse? Apparently, believers see this event even though it happens well after the beginning of the 7 years. Finally, the context of the snatching up is Noah and the flood. That would suggest that the ones snatched away are like the ones swept away by the flood waters. The believers are like Noah and his family who are "left behind" on earth.

@@zwickysnails337 we are caught up to meet him AT the Day of the Lord. Why? Because we are ushering in the King to his kingdom on earth as was the tradition. Two parts of the same event. It does not say he will save us from that hour. Rev 3:10 “keep you” in the greek is “téreó” meaning to watch over or guard. “Out of” in the greek is “ek” meaning “from out of” or “out from among”. How can we be protected through and brought out from among something if we were never in it.
Another example, the plagues in revelation are the same plagues from Egypt in the book of exodus. Now did God take the Israelites out of Egypt, or did he protect and guard them from within Egypt during the plagues?
1 thess 4, the context is that christians were just persecuted. Those that were alive were asking Paul, will those followers of christ that were just put to death miss out of the coming of the Lord and his Kingdom? He comforts them by saying on that day “the coming of the Lord” the dead will rise first (they will not miss out) and he explains the order of how it will happen. 1 thess 5 he expands this by saying, don’t worry for that day will not over take you like a thief because we are awake and sober and watching. What day is he referring to. The Day of the Lord. The same Day mentioned in matthew 24.
Gods wrath and tribulation are not the same. Without the church, by definition, there is no need for tribulation.
Paul even starts the book of revelation off by saying, “ I, john, your brother and partner in TRIBULATION, and the kingdom in PATIENT-ENDURANCE that are in Jesus was on the island of Patmos on the ACCOUNT OF THE WORD OF GOD and THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS”
Why? Because he was persecuted and exiled to Patmos.
What does Jesus say in his prayer in John 17:15
The 6 seals in revelation 6 is the same exact timeline of events Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24. The 6 trumpets and 6 bowls happen within the 7 seals as its the overview. The 7th seal, the 7th trumpet and the 7th bowl are the same event.
      And not only so, but also we glory in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation (suffering) produces perseverance;

Paul never believed in a "rapture" 1. Thess. 4. : 16-17 the verse used to support the "rapture", makes it crystal clear that this event will happen at the Last Judgement. There is no resurrection of the dead in Christ at the "rapture". Even if the dead in Christ were resurrected, they would have to sometime in the future die and be buried again so that they can rise again at the last judgement Acts 24-15 tells us that the resurrection of ALL the dead BOTH the JUST and the UNJUST will proceed the Last Judgement. There is only ONE rising of all the dead. There is only ONE Second Coming. There is on ONE JUDGEMENT.
Those who support the rapture should all agree when it will take place.

The real question is what did Jesus mean by not sleeping? Surely being rapture ready isn’t us tensing and holding on 24/7. If it means don’t be backslidden or lukewrm then sleep seems a strange metaphor for that and our theology must change to see our salvation as us being responsible for staying revved up and excited by our own efforts to know that we are saved - not good news for some struggling with things like depression. I’m not sure that’s what he meant by being asleep and having no oil in your lamp. I’ve always been confused by this and mainstream, more obvious, explanations have never felt satisfying to me.

Hey, friend! My understanding of this idea is simple: we are to be alert and of a sober-mind. The goal, from what I understand, is to be busy for the Lord Jesus (preaching the Word, making disciples, contending for the faith, etc.) in preparation for His return. I'm thinking of a time when my mom would list things that I needed to do before she got home; I was supposed to be busy doing what needed to be done in light of her arrival. In the same way, Christians ought to be busy for the Lord and not "asleep" (ignorant of His imminent return).

    • @samuelswanepoel7926
      @samuelswanepoel7926 11 месяцев назад +2

There are two meanings for sleeping in the Bible
      1. Not being careful of the Devil's plans
2 Believers who have died are asleep till the day Jesus returns in the clouds. Non-believers are referred to as 'dead'.
Not to be confused with dead to sin. This happens when you are babtized into the Holy Spirit.
      ‭‭‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:4‭-‬7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[4] Therefore we were buried with Him THROUGH BAPTISM into DEATH, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so WE ALSO should walk in newness of life.[5] For if we have been united together in the LIKENESS of His DEATH, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, [6] knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. [7] For he who has DIED has (already) been freed from sin.
A believer will no longer die, because his/her's Spirit is made alive. That is why Jesus refers to a believer who died as, asleep.
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
      [52] and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
      ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[14] Then Death and Hades were cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. This is the second death.

(Sorry for the VERY, VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused)
For, I believe...Paul taught us about the 1st and 2nd "Resurrections". Which were 1,000 yrs apart. Now the word "Rapture" should not have been coined. For it's NOT a "rapture". It was a Jesus "calling us up" (Born Again's) from the Old Earth.
And It's when, Jesus comes down from Heaven; to take us; to the Old Heaven. And this is in ...1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last (7th) trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead (Born Again's) shall be raised (1st Resurrect) incorruptible, and we shall be changed (Made pure forever).
And this in...Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy (set-apart) is he that hath part (Born Again's) in the first Resurrection: on such the second death (hell) has no power, but they shall be the children of God, who is Jesus. And the Born Again's shall be with Him a thousand years.
But remember this...2 Peter 3:8 Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years (on earth) is one day (in Heaven).
Now Paul made it; more clearly in this...1 Thessalonians 4:16 For Jesus Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the (last and 7th) trumpet of God: and the dead in Jesus (Born Again's) shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain (Born Again's) shall be caught up together with them, in the clouds, to meet Jesus in the air and so shall we ever be with Him.
Then NON Born Again's; will be punished (withOUT mercy) in the last 3 and 1/2 yr; of the "Great Tribulation". Which is 7 total yrs. And at the end of the GT; Jesus will have killed every living creature (including the living non Born Again's).
And they will stay in their graves; for a literal 1,000 yrs. But for us it will be only ONE day. Then when it's over; Jesus will Resurrect (2nd) the non Born Again's). And He will take them up; to where we are. Then "Judgment Day" Commences.
And Jesus tells His Angels; to put the Non Born Again's on His left hand. And put us on His right hand. And immediately; Jesus casts the non Born Again's; into a "Burning Lake of Fire" which is Hell.
Then, Jesus has His Angels to send us to a NEW Heaven. Where Jesus will wash our sins "as white as snow". And we will become ONE with Jesus. Forever and ever. Praise Him forever too always!
Where we will be; on a New Earth, a New Heaven, a New Jerusalem and a New Holy Temple (Which IS Jesus). And He then gives us; a New body, a New Name and a New Life. That will be Everlasting, Forever!
And finally in....Revelation 21:4 Jesus shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Praise Jesus' Holy Name! And end of story, and I rest me case...
...in any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

Greetings. Very interesting video. I have a question. If the wheat being harvested into Jesus' barn by the angels at the end of the age is a picture of the rapture (Mt. 13:30,39), then doesn't this place it at the second coming (Mt. 24:31)?

Post Trib, mid trib and pre wrathers say that Matthew 24:34 is about the rapture and that it happens immediately after the tribulation. Mathew 24:34 is not talking about the rapture it is talking about the gathering of Israel after the 7 year tribulation. The elect here are Israel at the end of the tribulation In revelation.
      Read Isaiah 10:20-34, 11:11-12, Isaiah 27:12-13, Zachariah chapters 13 and 14, Deuteronomy 30, Ezekiel 20-22, Jeremiah 30.

@@felixgilberto25there are two Israels in scripture. The spiritual Israel of God and the Israel after the flesh. I would argue that we Christian believers are spiritual Israel and the elect of God. If that's true then Matthew 24:34 is clearly the rapture.
Here is one of many verses that show the distinction between Israel after the flesh and spiritual Israel (the elect):
      Romans 11:7
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded”

      @felixgilberto25 9 месяцев назад

@@jswhosoever4533 not true! You are speaking heresy. You didn’t even read all of Romans 11. Matter fact start in Romans 9. If you read it in context you will see that Romans 9 it talking about Israel being hardened because of their own disobedience not about the reprobates and those who have been unconditionally chosen for salvation before the world was created. Look at Romans 11:25-27 “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Paul makes a lot of Old Testament references in Romans. If you don’t know the Old Testament you’ll never understand. Paul quotes Jeremiah 18 in Romans 9. If you go back and read Jeremiah 18 you’ll see that Romans 9 actually supports the doctrine of freewill. Romans 9-11 speaks of How God is dealing with Israel at the moment. Romans 11:26 says that All Israel will be saved.

It doesn’t say the ones taken are believers. It does say that at his appearing the ones gathered and TAKEN into judgment are UNBELIEVERS
It also says that ‘when you are these things happening’, meaning believers, they will witness his return. How can they witness his return if they’ve been secretly raptured?
    Matthew 13:30, 41, 49
Gather up FIRST the WEEDS, and bind it in bundles, to burn it, and the wheat gather up into my storehouse.
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will WEED OUT of his kingdom EVERYTHING THAT CAUSES SIN and ALL WHO DO EVIL. They will THROW THEM INTO THE BLAZING FURNACE, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This is how it will be AT THE END OF THE AGE. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and THROW THEM INTO THE BLAZING FURNACE, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
    Mark 12:9
What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and DESTROY THE TENANTS and give the vineyard to others.
    Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and THEN he will reward each person according to what they have done.
At his return, Jesus will send his angels to gather his elect from the ENDS OF THE EARTH and the ENDS OF THE HEAVENS.
    Mark 13:27
And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens
    Luke 17:30, 34
“It will be just like this ON THE DAY THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.
AT HIS RETURN, SOME ARE ASLEEP AND OTHERS AWAKE - IT WILL BE A GLOBAL EVENT
“I tell you, ON THAT NIGHT two people will be in one bed; one will be TAKEN and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”
    BELIEVERS ARE LEFT, NOT TAKEN:
    1 Thessalonians 4:15, 17
According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that WE WHO ARE STILL ALIVE, WHO ARE LEFT TILL THE COMING OF THE LORD
After that, we who are still alive AND ARE LEFT will be caught up together with him
The ones who are LEFT are those on earth who witness his return
Those LEFT, are those yet to be gathered to him after Christ’s return with the resurrected believers
In this context, the ones LEFT are living believers
Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:15 ‘According to the Lord’s own word’ some people ‘are alive and left’ - believers will be on earth at his appearing, not secretly raptured
The dead in Christ rise and come to earth with Jesus
Believers will be on earth at his appearing
We could be taken to Christ, as Noah was taken to the ark
In Matthew 24:39 Jesus said it would be AS IN NOAH’S TIME when people ‘knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. THAT IS HOW IT WILL BE AT THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.’
He is using the example of Noah taking people into the ark; some were taken, and the others left.
THE ONES ‘TAKEN’ COULD BE UNBELIEVERS
THERE WILL BE JUDGEMENT AT HIS APPEARING
    Luke 19:27
But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them-bring them here and KILL THEM in front of me.’”
    Isaiah 13:6, 9-10
    Wail, for the DAY OF THE LORD is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
See, THE DAY OF THE LORD is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger-
    to make the land desolate
and DESTROY THE SINNERS within it.

Did you know the kingdom is already here? It is a spiritual kingdom, not a physical kingdom. In Mark 9:1 Jesus says, " There are some standing here WHO WILL NOT TASTE DEATH UNTIL THEY SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD COME WITH POWER". Matt 16:28 " Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom". Jesus and John the Baptist preached that the KINGDOM WAS AT HAND, was it? Yes it was AT HAND. So, if the kingdom is not here, there are some very old people walking around, or Jesus lied. So, when did the POWER COME? In Acts 1:8 Jesus tells his apostles they would receive POWER from on high when the HS would fall on them and this happens in Acts 2. The Kingdom/church started. No longer is the kingdom AT HAND, after Acts 2 when it talks about the kingdom it is here, Col1:13 " God transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son..." Heb 12:28 " we have RECEIVED A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN". Next, Matt 24 talks of the destruction of Jerusalem, in v33 he tells his apostles " when YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS" , the disciples who he had been talking to since v2 would see ALL THESE THINGS he had talk about in chapter 24. In Luke's account v20 Jesus says," But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know its desolation is near" the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem and totally destroyed the temple, not one stone left upon another as Jesus said in Matt 24:2-3. Lastly, 1Thess 4 is not teaching the rapture, Paul is simply giving comfort to the Christians there telling them that their loved ones would be raised again, and they will be and so will non Christians 2 Thess 1:5-12 v8 " inflicting vengeance upon those who do not know God.......v10 " when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints". So, ON THAT DAY , he will inflict vengeance and glorify his saints.....

Since we are referencing matthew 24. I challenge everyone to read matthew 24 side by side with revelation 6. Its the same events that Jesus describes in Matthew 24, in the order that Jesus said it.
    Seal 1 (the antichrist) - matthew 24: 4 and 5
    Seal 2 (war) - matthew 24 : verse 6 and 7
    Seal 3 and 4 (famine and death) - verse 7 through 9
Seal 5: (betrayal and martyred saints) verse 9-14
Verse 15 through 28 re-emphasizes the previous verses.
Seal 6 (cosmic disturbance) : Matt 24 verse 29 : sun and moon cosmic disturbance, rapture of the church. Seal 6 in rev 6: 15-17 says everyone left calls on the mountains to fall on them for the “great day of their wrath HAS COME, and who can stand” meaning the wrath of the Lord is about to begin.
Seal 7: The day of the Lord. Verse 29-31. Of Which verse 29 says “immediately after the tribulation”
Note revelation 7 is the great multitude in heaven and the sealing of the 144000 on earth which comes after revelation 6
Also note the 7th seal isnt until revelation 8
Seal 7 bowl 7 and trumpet 7 are the same event. And they all contain the same earthquake, lightning and thunder.
How can we read this out loud and still come to a pre tribulation rapture conclusion? I simply don’t understand it. The rapture is pre wrath, somewhere in the middle of 3.5 years of tribulation (for the elects sake, those days are shortened). and the scriptures make this abundantly clear.
Paul said we know the season and the times, so that day wont come on us like a thief because we are watching.
Also, when “they” say peace and safety. Who is the “they”? “They” are The wicked.
Just because the wicked say “peace and safety” doesn’t mean christians will say peace and safety. To the wicked the extermination of “intolerant christians” is what likely brings a perceived peace and safety. They scream about this right now on college campuses.
Imagine how many Christians will turn away from Christ and betray their brother and sister because they were told they wouldn’t suffer in the great tribulation. They weren’t spiritually prepared.
    Anyway
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

What about 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3? Paul is following up with what he wrote in his first letter and says the coming of the Lord AND us being gathered to meet him?
Also, 2 Thessalonians 1:7 shows that Paul’s hope for redemption and rest was the FIERY/GLORIOUS APPEARING of Christ.
Paul in Titus 2:11-13 says it again… the blessed hope is the Glorious APPEARING of Jesus!
Colossians 3:4 says it again… “When Christ, who is your life, APPEARS, then you also will appear with him in glory.”
1 John 3:2 - when Christ APPEARS, we shall be like him!
1 Peter 1:6-7 - even though we may face trials and tribulation, our faith will result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus is REVEALED.
Notice a pattern? At the glorious appearing/revealing of Jesus, that’s when we experience the culmination of our faith and salvation. That’s when we’re changed.
Since the resurrection comes at Jesus’ glorious appearing/revealing, we know (from 1 Thessalonians 4) the rapture of the living is right after!
    Maranatha!

WHAT?!?! *I Thess 5:1* begins with "BUT...", so while Paul is writing to the believers, he just got DONE speaking of the rapture which they knew NOTHING about, & *NOW* he tells us that they *DID* however know s/thing...
"BUT of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have *NO NEED* that I write unto you..."
    "For yourselves *KNOW PERFECTLY..."*
It's impossible to be both IGNORANT & INFORMED of the same matter...to be in the dark, yet in the know...clueless & knowledgeable...etc.
This passage CONFIRMS for us that the rapture is a totally different event from the 2nd coming.

Brother you are teaching the opposite of the scripture.
The rapture pre trib is false, made up 200 years ago(john darby) and is not in scripture. The traditions of men make the Word of God of none effect. Below is scripture that tells of the Second Coming of Our Lord. We will not suffer God`s wrath but will be sealed in our forehead so we escape his wrath but we will be at war with satan and he will overcome us. The Lord,Apostles and the Prophets all had to suffer and some of us will as well (See Hebrews 11)
Please read the scripture below. It is plain.
    Mathew 24
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (gather his elect after the tribulation?)
    Mark 13
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. (gather his elect after the tribulation?)
    1 Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (Last Trump/7th Trump)
    Revelation 11
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Our Lord`s Kingdom at the Last/7th trump)
    Revelation 13
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
    Daniel 7
    21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
    Revelation 6
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
(Fellow servants still on the earth after the 6th seal)

In John 6, Jesus states 4 times that the believers will be raised up on the last day. Also In John 11 Martha tells Jesus I know that Lazarus will rise again in the “Resurrection” on the last day. Were they mistaken? If all the believers both dead and alive disappear in a secret rapture, where it states “and there they will always be with the Lord”, who will be raised in the resurrection on the las day? I believe if you read 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, Revelation 20, I think you’ll be hard pressed to make sense of both a rapture and a resurrection. It seems to me, they’re one and the same.
The last day represents the Day of the Lord. 1Thessalonians 5, 2Peter 3:10. Yes the believers are not appointed to Gods wrath (lake of fire and bowls etc.) but with the judgment that is to come, I believe we will be present, persecuted and also protected as God is able to protect during judgment just as He did with the Exodus of the Jews. God brought multiple plagues etc. on Egypt while the Jews were still as slaves, yet none were harmed during these events. If there is a 7 year tribulation/70th week of Daniel, I believe we’ll be here sharing the Gospel just as we’re supposed to be doing now. I also believe many will abandon the faith once persecution starts… Just one man’s opinion/interpretation. Be prepared! Our brother and sisters are being killed for their faith as you read this, don’t be fooled… The Apostles also were martyred as even the Lord of Lords was crucified! And we should merely be excused by a secret rapture?

Paul taught the resurrection of the dead, not the rapture of the living.
He was comparing the resurrection of the soul before and after the Day of the Lord. The saints who died before would be raised from the grave on the Day. Those living on the Day would be caught up to the Lord when they died, since hades would have been thrown in the fire.

There is no pre tribulation rapture in scripture. Jesus taught that he would come after the tribulation. If you believe a pre tribulation then you don't believe what Jesus taught on this matter. Now we could say that this doctrine is secondary, however how will the faith of those be when holding the pre trib position who believe they won't go through the tribulation then the reality will come.

Barry have you ever given it a thought that those gathered after the tribulation of those days are the surviviors ( Jews and Gentile believers) Jesus never talked about the Church or the Rapture anywhere in Matt 24 NOT THE TOPIC, NOT THE SUBJECT, never the question here in matt 24 either. This Gathering more exactly fits with the Gathering that Jesus Lamented about 2 chapters earlier where he talked about a Hen gatheing her Chicks but the Jewish Leaders rejected. Jesus sends angels to gather them because they now (Jews ) acknowledge Jesus as the savior they rejected. Jesus said he would not return for the Jews until they called on him. The Chuch (body of believers encluding jews who accepted Jesus prior to the tribulation period to which the Church was exempted. Remember Matt 23/24/25 are a message to Jews no CHURCH exsisted here and there is no mention of the mystery of the "rapture " idea until Paul who reveals it long after Jesus Death. Try not to view rapture in Matt 24 because it does not fit there. You will have a totally new understanding. There is no suport for a rapture anywhere in Matt 24. Thanks and God Bless

Matthew 13 37He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42and will cast them into the furnace of fire.
And we are all gathered at the end, by the angels , Jews and gentiles.
The apostle John is told by Jesus in John chapter 10 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
Notice Jesus said. and there will be one flock and one shepherd. NOT TWO. Jews and gentiles together.
John chapter 15 5“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. Just as Jesus said in Matthew 13,42
Romans 1119You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.
This means gentiles tuck the place of Jews.
      Luke 3,18
Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. He did with the gentiles who was grafted in.
The apostle John in revelation chapter 7 is being shown what Jesus meant in John chapter 10,16
Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” 4And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: we know from the above that Jew and gentile are tribes of the children of Israel.
Revelation 9,7. (meta) 3326: with, among, that is what the apostle John witness for himself
      5of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were [a]sealed;
      of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
      6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
      7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
      8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed;
      of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
A Multitude from the Great Tribulation
Remember revelation chapter 7,9 (meta)3326: with, among, the Jews. Meaning Jews and gentiles together.
After, gives the wrong view, not in line with what Jesus taught.
9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Within the twelve tribes are both Jew and gentle as one flock just as Jesus promised. John chapter 10 16 were did they come from ?
Revelation chapter 7 13Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
14And I said to him, [b]“Sir, you know.”.
So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Finally, Jesus gave John the information in John chapter 10 16 now Jesus is showing John the reality of it in revelation chapter 7. And they all come out of the great tribulation.
      TOGETHER AS ONE FLOCK
As a nation the Jews still don't accept Jesus, if you don't know, they are going to sacrifice the red heifer. I am shore that will not go well with God.
      God bless you brother

Hard to watch bad teaching. Sir you fail to rightly divide as Paul preached in 2 Tim. The second coming of Jesus is NOT the rapture. Jesus did NOT teach the rapture, not even in Mat 24. In the verse of two here and one taken and one left, he is referring to the event that will happen at his return when the Angels gather His elect (the Jews) for judgement. Foe judgement must first begin at the house of God. You must learn that Jesus was a minister to the JEWS Rom 15:8 NOT to Gentiles ( us ) Everything He said was to Jews. Paul is the apostle appointed unto the Gentiles, and he tells us that the Church was a mystery HIDDEN in God, not the God head, but in the Father only.

Good point: 1Th 5:1 starts with a conjunction, and thus, is a continuation of the Rapture prophecy (1Th 4:17). I checked the Greek text, and voila! I discovered the Greek continuing conjunction "δὲ" which means either "however" or "moreover", depending on whether the trailing context is adversative, or additive. I this case the trailing context is additive. Thus, the KJV should have rendered this conjunction, "moreover", which would have clearly indicated that the trailing context was adding to the preceding Rapture prophecy (1Th 4:17-18),thereby revealing that the Rapture would occur on "The Day of the Lord", which day, Jesus called "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-4-,44,54), the day when the present heavens and earth will be burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12), "The End of the Age" (Mt 24:3).

There is no pretribulation rapture. There is not one bible verse to support the idea of a pretribulation rapture. Pretrib rapture is vain babbling. Jesus clearly comes after the days of tribulation matthew 24:29-44. 2 thessalonians 2:1-8. 2 thessalonians 1:3-10. 1 corinthians 15:23. 1 corinthians 15:50:55. 1 thessalonians 4:13-18. There is only 1 second coming of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures. People who teach the pretrib rapture lie will have to give an account for deceiving people. Rev 22:18-19.

@@user-nk8dm7rj6h There are Soo many proofs in the scriptures of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture that it is uncanny that Soo many people as yourself cannot see it or rather, will not see it. Maybe, you were raised to believe a contradicting doctrine and if so, I understand that it can be challenging to see the scriptures in the opposing view of what you were taught. But, that's no excuse. We must prayerfully study to show ourselves approved unto God and a Workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Okay, I'll take a portion of the scriptures that you used to further elaborate. Matthew 24: 29-31 is speaking of the second coming of Christ which is corroborated by John in Revelation 19: 11-21 which is at the end of the Great Tribulation or Jacobs Trouble (Jeremiah's term for the Tribulation). This is prior to the 1,000 year millennial kingdom of Christ in which we will rule over the earth with Him. Notice in Matthew 24:31 that His elect are gathered from one end of heaven to the other. Not under heaven nor on or even of the earth. The elect (the Church) is gathered from one end of heaven to the other end of heaven, so this clearly shows that no one is being changed or gathered from earth, just heaven. So, there's one point you now have to explain. Number two, in verses 29 and 30 it says that all of the tribes of earth will see Him and they will mourn because of Him. I thought that Christ coming is supposed to be our blessed Hope and that there will be a crown of Righteousness for all of those who love His appearing. But, here at this point, no one on earth except for Israel is happy about His coming. Number three: look at vers 27 and 28 and ask yourself a question, if His coming will be like lightening flashing or in the moment of the twinkling of an eye as Paul described it in 1 Corinthians 15:52. And note, the last trump here IS NOT the last trump of the Angel in God's judgement in Revelation, it is the last trump referred to in the feast of trumpets when the shofar is blasted 100 times to call in all of the participants. In 2 Thessalonians Paul makes it clear that it would be the Lord Himself to descend from Heaven with the voice of the Archangel and the Trump of God and we would be CAUGHT UP from the earth to meet Him in the air and not an Angel. A clear distinction. Even in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 Paul makes it clear that there are two different and distinct events concerning the appearing of our Lord which will occur, our (the Church) gathering together unto Him and a second coming in which we are clearly coming back to earth with Him. So, my point is, either the event is going to be so quick (I come quickly...) That no one will know what happened in verses 27, 28 or it will be Soo slow and methodical that every eye shall see Him. Verses 29-31. It cannot be both. Or, perhaps it can be what you post tribbers won't admit, which is two different and distinct events. Yes, verse 27 and 28 is the Rapture (harpazo or Rapturo, caught up) when the Lord removes the church which is the Restrainer from the earth, like Noah and Lot as described by our Lord as well as the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2: 6,7. The Rapture is when He comes FOR us and we meet Him in the air, but He does not return to earth and the second coming is when He comes WITH us back to the earth to establish the Millennial reign. This is all scripture my friend. So, maybe you should consider your own advice, stop deceiving people and robbing them of our Blessed Hope. I don't mean to sound vindictive, but you are contradicting God's Word and hindering or even injuring the faith of His little ones, Christ's elect. Please reconsider your views because they are wrong. Know this, if you respond in a rebuttal to my comment then I probably will not respond any further unless the Holy Spirit inspires me to do so. Enough has been given to prompt you to look further into your beliefs. Amen.

Jesus died on the cross and 3 days later He raised and established His kingdom on this earth. He is only returning once again. On the LAST DAY (singular day). On that same day earth will be destroyed. It is clearly started in the Word of God, the Bible.
With trumpets, (no secret rapture). Jesus stated it and the prophets several times. Don't be led by false teachers that twist scripture.
Lets read 1 Tess 4 (my comments in brackets)
But I do not want you to be IGNORANT, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (died as believers), lest you sorrow as others who have NO HOPE. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again (on the cross), even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus (who died and is asleep until the day of His return in the clouds). For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain (who survived the trials and tribulations) until the coming of the Lord will by NO MEANS precede those who are asleep (who died). For the Lord (Jesus) Himself will descend from heaven with a SHOUT (not secretly), with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet (loudly) of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first (on the last day). Then we (believers who survived the great tribulation) who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (the dead who rose) in the clouds to MEET the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always (not only a thousand years) be with the Lord.
    I Thessalonians 4:13‭-‬17 NKJV
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day (singular day) of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden DESTRUCTION comes upon them (those that do not believe), as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall NOT escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day (again emphasis on a singular event) should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the HOPE of salvation. For God did not appoint us to WRATH (Judgement day NOT tribulation), but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep (aliveor dead), we should live TOGETHER with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
    I Thessalonians 5:2‭-‬11 NKJV
Pre tribulation rapture is not in the Bible.
    This is in the Bible.
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
    Matthew 24:21‭-‬22 NKJV
(Why would the time be be shortened for the elect’s sake if they are already 'raptured'? Can you see it makes no sense.....)
Jesus Himself said that no one, not even Jesus know which day He will return)
    From Scripture:
“But of that day and hour no one knows, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY the Father.
    Mark 13:32
Again it makes no sense as Jesus can count a thousand years. See how pathetically foolish it is to believe people and not trust the word of God.

Proof of A Pre trib Rapture. Pay Attention to the Cloud and Clouds Jesus appears In and With. Acts chapter 1 verses 9 10 11 Cloud. In Red Luke chapter 21 verses 27 and 28 Jesus is coming In A Cloud the Rapture. In Revelation chapter 1 verse 7 Jesus is coming With the Clouds when he comes back to the Mt of Olive the second coming KJV.

Great study, Josh! Yes, the Rapture will absolutely be Pre-Tribulation. We are the Body of Christ, so Jesus will certainly not pour out His wrath upon His own Body.
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
    - Revelation 5:9-10
⬆️ The Church is in Heaven before the Tribulation!
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
    - Luke 21:36
⬆️ I repeat: “…to escape all these things that shall come to pass…”

We are spared from the wrath of God on the LAST day, the same day of judgment of all unbelievers, tgat same day the earth will be destroyed. You are confusing 'tribulation' with weather. There is no promise in the Bible that states Christians (the elect) will not go through tribulations. No one single verse.
Christians are already in the kingdom, the temple of God with Jesus the head and beleivers the body, making up the Church of God
Jesus established His kingdom thee days after His death on the Cross ✝️
      From Scripture:
Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this TEMPLE, and in THREE DAYS I will raise it up.” Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the temple of His BODY. Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they BELIEVED the Scripture and the WORD which Jesus had said.
      John 2:19‭-‬22 NKJV
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells IN YOU? (believers are already living in the temple) If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the TEMPLE of God is holy, which temple you (believers) are. And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
      I Corinthians 3:16‭-‬17‭, ‬23 NKJV
For then there will be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, NOR EVER SHALL BE. And unless those days were SHORTENED, no flesh would be saved; BUT FOR THE ELECT’S SAKE those days will be shortened.
      Matthew 24:21‭-‬22 NKJV

The false teaching about a pre trib is going to hurt a lot of people. Scripture says he comes after tribulation. 2 Thessalonians 2;7-10 speaks of a taken out of the way while those left behind will be destroyed with the brightness of his coming. 2 peter 3:10 says as he comes as a thief in the night the earth will be burned up. And we know those who are alive will be caught up with those who rise to life, which happens at the very end. John 6:40. The theory that there will be a 2nd chance for those left behind when the saved are raptured is ridiculous and not biblical.

The tribulation period is specifically for the Nation Israel. Elect is only determoned by the whole Jewish content . And the Fact that O T Scripture previewed a Gathering of a 1/3 remnant in the Last days O T scriptures know nothing about any future Church. The Church "body of Christ believers" are not in any part of this address and we need to be quite clear that the Church and Israel are separate here and the Church has not replaced Israel and God is not finished with Israel. The Church is not present during the Tribulation period which is needed to bring Israel into saving faith in Their Messiah whom they rejected. We can't plug the Church in where it does not exsist. The people “taken” from grinding corn and in the field, were taken in judgement not rapture, why? …. Because the question was asked “ where will they be taken?”….they will be taken “where the vultures are gathered!!!!” That is not the rapture, that’s the judgement when Christ returns! The rapture may be before the seven year tribulation begins or pre-wrath.

The great tribulation is not the same as the wrath of God. Two different things. We are not appointed for the wrath of God because what Jesus did for us. He shall save us from the wrath to come, but not from the persecution by the antichrist. That will happen during the great tribulation.
