For what it is worth, I give you 95% agreement of what I believe. After studying in depth "He who now restrains until He is taken out of the way. . . " refers to the Holy Spirit; you said God, so that is arguable as to whether we agree. However, unlike most pre-tribbers, although the restraining may cease with the removal of the Church, I do not believe the restraining is because the Holy Spirit is removed because of the Church. The "taken out of the way" is not a removal, but rather, the Holy Spirit no longer stands between a person and evil and thus evil will be able to proceed unhindered. However, the restraining may continue after the Rapture for a day, month, year or even longer--we really have no scripture that clarifies why and until when the restraining exist or whether the cessation is instantaneous or gradual, only that it will cease.

Outstanding. Context is always king when interpreting scripture. Its tempting to read the word with the purpose of having it confirm presupposed ideas.
The Holy Spirit is our King and Teacher. While context is meaningful, and the Holy Spirit has certainly taught me to consider it, the carnal mind studying the scriptures, even paying attention to context, will still fail to understand. I'm trying to say, no hermeneutic is a substitute for the Holy Spirit. A man is not able to understand the spiritual truth of the scriptures by himself, no matter how careful and diligent his study.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor 2:14
Yes, but he didn't use context. He imported context. Paul's context was our gathering together unto Him. Our Departure. We are out of the way before the man of sin is revealed. He is revealed when he confirms Israel's covenant for one week: Israel's 70th week. Israel's 70th week will no longer be a dispensing of Grace, but a dispensing of judgment and Wrath and testing. The Body of Christ Church is outta here before God goes back to dealing with Israel according to their prophecy.

I trust there is grace enough from God to hang on.. as well as to be ready to go at any time (a day we shall not know and that will take all by surprise). Maybe He has appointed each to have the measure of faith and grace to go through what we may live through, all in His good will.

Apostasia is made up of two words, apo and stasia. Apo means: a motion away from a place or person, the separation of apart from the whole. It is a state of separation, that is of distance - either physical: of distance of place, or temporal: of distance of time. Stasia means: a standing, to stand, exist, have stability. It comes from the root word: Stasis.
Together they mean a standing away from, a drawing out from, a separation away from, or a going out from among. This fits exactly with the images of the “great escape” and the “gathering together” of scripture.
Apostasia is the feminine form of apostasion, which is a derivative form of aphistēmi, all of which refer to a departure from someone or something. We can’t be dogmatic on the definition, it has two. We have to look at the context. Is 2 Thess 2 talking about spiritual defection, or is Paul referring to our gathering together to Christ, v. 1?
The Falling away Started about 85yrs ago with the Invention of Radio, telephone, and with TV, It picked up Speed. Then Cellphones even faster. And Now with computers, internet in everyone's hands, The Falling Away is and has happened faster than a super Sonic missile. We now have the World we are Living in and It's getting Darker by the day
Satan has to have the technology in my opinion for his plan to take root it has grown from its early stages but the stage is all set for antichrist to show up and what if the modern hospital system is apart of the plan they take so much info and store it all into something but what is the last phase before we .see what it is?
Listen to Paul's teaching! Why stop at the radio? How about the automobile? The industrial revolution? The printing press? Stop trying to manipulate history to calculate eternity and trust God's providence. The end may not come for a hundred eras yet those who die in Christ are secure.
Interesting perspective. However, can you not see that every first world country (especially those of Christian heritage/founding) have gone secular & have not only embraced transgender/homosexuality & wokeness, but are now very opposed to all-things Christian??
Could the falling away be the church not following true Bible teaching

The falling away has been ongoing for the last 30 or 40 years! Its been a slow development! Not all at once! Just because that's what people thought doesn't make it so. Our country has been pushing God out of everything as long as I can remember! The falling away is still going on too! This hasn't been a Christian country since before 9/11. God tried to wake us up but we just went right back to sleep!

From this passage, the Day of Christ is defined as a period which commences with the Coming of the Lord and our gathering together to him (rapture). Paul is simply expounding on the rapture in 1 Thes. 4:17 with 2 Thes. 2:2 NKJV. “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.”

I am 80, been in church my whole life, raised in a house with a prayer room 20x40’ stain glass windows where we had family devotions 5 days a week. After hearing all views of eschatology and listening to your podcast, my conclusion is.
According to Thessalonians 2 Chapter 2. that the day of Christ is the Rapture that takes place after the falling away, which is happening now and the man of lawlessness is revealed at anytime now. His revealing will be a ongoing thing to those who are waiting and watching for Christ return. I believe the tribulation will start right after the rapture on very close after. There is still thing that need to be done before the rapture can take place. More needs to be done to get ready for the third Temple to be built in order for the Antichrist to set himself up in the Temple to be worshipped. Israel needs to be in a better position then they are right now. In order for that to happen the Antichrist needs to be revealed who will help Israel build the Temple. The Antichrist has to be Jewish borne of satan seed and will fulfill Old Testament prophecy about the Jewish Messiah in order to deceive both Jews and dead so called Christians. There is no way this can be accomplished without the Antichrist being Jewish. The Scripture says he came unto His own and they received Him not, but one will come his own name that they will receive. So much more to say in order to put all the pieces together
2Thes 2:3 What part of That DAY (Rapture) shall NOT COME until the man of sin (Antichrist) is REVEALED? (Visibly) Also, Mt24:29,31 Jesus said IMMEDIATLY AFTER the tribulation. Vs 31 Shall GATHER (Resurrect) his elect. How hard are these scriptures to understand?

I'm a lot more ready for persecution now than I was. Thank God for that.
How do you know the antichrist setting himself in the temple doesn't mean human temples. The Bible does say we are temples. This generation will take technology into their bodied. The word for that is transhumanism. And also, I had a dream in 2020 that Obama is the man of sin and that persecution is coming. This man is right now behind the scenes in the White House and will be coming into full view. I really didn't have to share this because so many people blow me off or just say we'll see. But where is the urgency to get ready and be ready to stand up urgently for our king. Or will Jesus be met with an embarrassing no.

I love how you male your points ( great points I'd say ) and yet, don't call them "facts" and are open to other interpretations. I myself am a pre-trib guy because it very much seems that way to me according to the scriptures but I never tell anyone that THIS IS RIGHT, YOU'RE WRONG! I've had people act that way about their points like they're right and I'm doomed if I don't accept that! Pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, is not essential to the faith, what is essential is belief in Jesus Christ, the Trinity and being born again. That's what saves us. I did subscribe. God Bless ☝️ ✝️ 🙏 🙌

I have a question… How is the enemy going to make war with the “Saints” if we’ve all been raptured out? This has been a real question that has stood out in my mind for a while. Thank you so much and God bless you.
I was confused about that too until I learned that the word 'saints' is found many times in the Psalms and in Daniel and Job, as well as other places in the Old Testament. I have come to understand that the saints mentioned in the book of Revelation who are overcome by the Beast are believers who go through the time of Jacob's trouble, the great tribulation. I believe in the pre tribulation rapture of the saints who are alive at that time, those who have already been saved before the tribulation period.

This is a perfect example of what a "transliteration" gone wild looks like. Translating from Koine Greek and inserting a definition that was not confirmed. I studied this for a long time. The Word in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is apostasia which is Greek for "departure" the word can be used in two ways. A simple departure, just like a flight, or a political defection. The word in its basic for simply means
"Apo" = move away from
"Stacia" = current position it implies a desertion, like if you just ran out of somewhere. It can be used literally and figuratively but most Bible translators decided to go with the figurative stance... But that's problematic because we have absolutely NO IDEA what this figurative departure is and we're left to make up our own idea, all denominations have done this.
In simple terms Paul simply stated that the Man of Sin cannot appear until *_The Departure_* happens first. You have to find out what departure he's talking about and that's not hard to find out because he just talked about it in 1 Thessalonians
But let's say it's not this way. Let's say Paul was using it to mean its other definition. So now what exactly is THE (used as a noun here) falling away from the faith that happens here? It's impossible for us to know The Catholics say this is the Protestant Reformation, the SDA Church say this is the departure to Sunday instead of keeping the Sabbath.... so on and so forth, if we are to take this route it's simply impossible to know what Paul's talking about because it was not explained with any context supporting it.

Thanks for your calm and considered input. Yes, this a problem with translations and you've stated it way better than I ever could. I've looked at the word 'apostasia' and have seen a different meaning; Etymology. From Latin apostasia, from Ancient Greek ἀποστασία (apostasía, “defection, revolt”), from ἀφίστημι (aphístēmi, “I withdraw, revolt”), from ἀπό (apó, “from”) + ἵστημι (hístēmi, “I stand”). This translation fits with my view of what Paul is describing in 2 Thess 2, which is a rebellion/revolt by man/mankind just as that occurred at Babel, where man come together in unity in rebellion to God, desiring to be his own lord and master of his own destiny. The meaning of the name Nimrod is also rebel, as with rebellion. This is rather long comment, I hope you will put up with my ramble of a response.
The antichrist/the man of lawlessness is not a 'man' - singular. The phrase, 'man of lawlessness' etc, is the use of a descriptive device known as 'personification'.
Also, Rev 12:18 is not referring to 'a' singular man. There is no 'a' in the Greek text. It should be translated as man/mankind. Some translations have correctly ascribed it this way, though not many. This error has been propergated through erroneous tradition. It is mankind/humankind - a united kingdom of man, himself, as at Babel, united in rebellion against God the Creator and his Messiah.
2 Thess 2:4, 'He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God' is speaking metaphorically. It is to say that he man/mankind will think himself superior to everything, his version of what is truth opposes the Word of God.
The keys are given in the book of Revelation itself.
*It is a kingdom 'which once was (at Babel), now is not (at John's time of writing) but will come again (in the last days), Rev 17:11.
*It is the kingdom that is 'an eighth kingdom, which belongs to the seven'. The seven is the chronological complete beast of Gentile kingdoms which were prphecied to come, through Daniel, and unite the world in rebellion (apostasia) to God as first attempted at Babel where God said, if they be unified like this, as one, nothing will be impossible for them. It is the resurrected kingdom of Babel, signified by the denomination of the number eight; a one world government where mankind becomes his own lord and master of his own destiny.
*It is the kingdom 'which was wounded by the sword, yet lived', when God went to Babel and 'wounded man/mankind's effort to unite, as one, by confusing his language and dispersing him over the face of the earth.
Man/kind has his own gospel to preach to humanity, which opposes the Word of God. His gospel blasphemes the Word of God calling it archaic, barbaric and even unrighteous. The word of man purports to save humankind apart from God and his Christ, Jesus. This is the deception which will be worshipped as truth by all those who are perishing, because they loved the darkness instead of the light. Cheers

Well, as I said to a very dear and close SDA friend just before he passed away. Unnecessarily complicated. When will the Church be delivered? 2 Thessalonians 1:7“ to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.” The pre-tribulation rapture theory is supposed to be a quiet snatching away followed by the tribulation and then the destruction of the wicked at the end, but when does the rest come for us? At the same time as the blazing fire and destruction accompanied by the Angels. We are mustered with the returning saints as a great army of the righteous as he descended in the twinkle of an eye. One cataclysmic event. Much more can be said, but not in this small post. I recommend “ The tribulation and the Church “ by Walter Martin or “The Blessed Hope” by George Eldon Ladd. If you have to get too complicated one risks making up an extra Biblical story.
I find that the "falling away" is the rapture which is the one thing that brings out the Man of sin. He then "makes the Covenant for one week (the time of Jacob's trouble) with Israel allowing them to rebuild the temple and resumes the animal sacrifices. In the middle of this "week" , he breaks the covenant and brings in the Abomination of Desolation.
Fall is to drop down: not up. Also, Jacob's trouble was the 70 yr captivating of Israel under the Babylonians/Nebakaneezar and has nothing to do with the tribulation. Nowhere in the New Testament will you read that Jacob's trouble is used interchangeably with the tribulation to define the tribulation as Jacob's trouble.

Paul makes it perfectly clear in 2 Tim, that some will depart the faith. He does however NOT define what is supposedly "fallen away" from. If it was the faith he would have said so as he does in 2 Tim. In 2 Thess. It should be noted that the first 5 Bibles that were ever written did NOT define aposticia as falling away, but rather defined the word as departure. You can see this for yourself on line. Seen from this perspective the whole chapter flows together, especially at the end with " Comfort yourselves " What comfort would there be in " Maybe I will fall away" Pre trib rapture ? Again, the same verse, we DEPART, then the man of sin is revealed. It's plainly written out. Yet some either can't see it, or choose to ignore it.
In my read, the comfort is in the reminder (past teachings that Paul himself affirm) that there is still a Blessed Hope in the Lord who is with and for us, and will be back as promised in 1Thess 4-5. But not to panic beforehand wondering if their persecution is from the Lord (the Lord's judgements falling on them, or as if the great tribulation is before them already). This is from my own experience of God's reminder of this word anyway.

...a departing first...means physical not spiritual. Dr. Andy Woods wrote a book called "The Falling Away" to clarify the verse true meaning. It is worthy to read.
Spiritual departure is never new issue, it is from the beginning of evangelist.
If you look the Greek manuscripts the meaning is apostasia: falling away from faith. It is clear it's not rapture.

The he (pronoun) who restrains has to be identified with a antecedent. The Holy Spirit is not mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2, and therefore can't be the Holy Spirit. Example to identifying pronouns: take 2 Thessalonians 2:6 KJV

The same rule applies to identifying the he in 2 Thessalonians 2:7. Without a antecedent, no one can identify a pronoun. Find the antecedent to the he in 2 Thessalonians 2:7, and you have the he who restrains.
Your interpretation of the Restrainer in 2Thess2:6 is correct. Revelation 5:1-14

The entire church age is a time of tribulation. Daniel’s 7 year 70th week is never referred to as “The Tribulation Period” in the Bible though the second 3 and a half years could be referred to a Great Tribulation. Daniel’s 70th week also includes God’s Wrath which is also referred to as the Day of the Lord. This might also be the same as the Day of Christ. The Wrath of God is not the same as Tribulation or Great Tribulation which Jesus says Christians will experience. I believe that this passage supports the Pre Wrath Rapture where the rapture occurs within the final 3 1/2 years after great tribulation but before the Wrath of God.

I have laboured over this passage, "he who now letteth." It seems to me that it is possible that the text is referring to some thing like Satan who may have to restrain the rage of the anti-christ... also, he is not used as a proper noun?
I too labored. Have you considered the kingdom and power of the secular Emperor had to give way (letteth) for a religious man? Paul wrote he talked about this one who letteth when they met in person, but he wouldn't write down the name in his letter. Some believe he was protecting the Saints should his letter fall into the hands of one of the Emperor's men.

regarding the restrainer, the Bible tells us who is the restrainer, see 2Thess 2:9, which says it's the WORKING of Satan with ALL power. if someone other than satan is doing the restrainer, then it's not the "working" of satan and this restrainer has a lot of power here, which means satan only has SOME power in the matter and not ALL power. If satan is doing the working and has ALL power in the matter he has to be the restrainer. and he's probably taken out of the way when Michael stands up and kicks him out of the heavens onto earth, physically.

Hello brother! It is sad to see so many people denying the pre-trib rapture. I truly believe the rapture is going to happen much sooner than people are expecting! Your view on the "falling away" is quite interesting. I've always thought of the "falling away" as the church of Laodicea and my reasoning is: Christ spoke to the Laodiceans last in Rev. 3 and said that they are lukewarm. This makes me think of apostasy, and I can see apostasy everywhere in this world. Whether it be churches proclaiming to be lgbt or something more subtle like calvinism (works based salvation). People do not want to rely on Jesus finished work on the cross but would rather try to justify themselves. Timeline wise, I've always thought of the "falling away" as happening before the rapture. Once the church is gone, those who were trusting in works for salvation will finally repent and believe solely on Jesus' Blood to wash them clean and trust in His finished work. Similar to Elias tearing his shirt and placing his faith completely in God when Elijah was raptured. To sum up my stance... I see the day and age we live in now to be the falling away, to be the church of Laodicea. So few people have the complete truth, just as our Savior said it would be... Strait is the gate and narrow is the path that leads to life (Jesus being the gate, path, and life) and broad is the path and wide is the gate that leads to death. Deception is so very common, hence why there are so many "denominations". There is only one truth: Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose to life three days later: bearing our sin and conquering death. He poured His Grace out onto the world and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but having everlasting life! HalleluYAH! Mt.24:29-31 tells us plainly that the Day Christ returns is the Day of the Rapture, not before, and it is also Judgment Day, 2Tim.4:1 and 2Thes.2:1-12 concur. The sequence of events is told us beginning in Mt.24:3 as Jesus answers the question in that chapter put to Him. He concludes by saying we've been told in advance, vs.25. Because we are told in advance thereby we can spot false prophets who change times and events as in Dan.7:25. There simply is no Pre-Trib Rapture without changing times and events. Neither is there a thousand year reign of Christ in Person from Jerusalem because we've been told in advance clearly of the unfolding of End Time events. When Christ returns, it is the end of the Great Tribulation, the Rapture and Judgment Day all spelled out clearly in Mt.24.

The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the church at Thessalonica. He was addressing to them that the falling away would happen to the church, prior to the coming of the Lord.
Even if Paul was saying that there will be a falling away of truth, one must conclude that a falling away from the truth (sound doctrine) most definitely would cause a falling away of those who professed faith in Christ.

I think you're spot on, but what you're describing is a pre-wrath (mid-tribulation) rapture, not a seven-year pre-tribulation rapture, which has been mathematically eliminated based on Scripture.
The only other place the Greek word for rebellion or apostasy is used is here...
Acts 21:21 NIV - They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.
Note the context. The people rebelled against Moses.
The apostasy is the people rebelling against /falling away from Christ.

Concerning the harpazo / rapture, I like to think about Revelation 3:10 in which John describes that we will be kept from the wrath of God.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 is described that there will be a ressurrection of the dead and after that we, which are alive, will be caught up; the first ressurrection is also described in Revelation 20:6.

Wow! Someone actually reads the bible! I think the rapture happens just after the sixth seal is broken though. It's pronounced in ch 6 v 17 but if you read the next chapter you can see that the Lord puts a short hold (half an hour) on starting the wrath.

The Rapture and the Second Coming have very different circumstances. Rapture is meeting the Lord in the air/clouds. Second Coming has a judgment component to it whereas the Rapture does not. Two separate events.

CJ Lovok from Rock Island books is a fantastic Bible teacher and he is also a pre-trib believer. He showed that Christ would return in 2030. Unfortunately, when the Rapture did not happen a couple months ago, he moved to goal post to 2031. That is the kind of thing the pre-trip Rapture position does. He was right the first time but he had to adjust his wonderful teaching based on his faulty rapture doctrine. .

Jesus was speaking to Israel and Israel has been told from the beginning that they would endure that time of testing: they will not be raptured but tested. He did however, tell them that they should pray that they are found worthy to escape all these things of the Great Tribulation, and we learn from Revelation that the 144,000 Jews do in fact escape great Tribulation (2nd half) of Israel's 70th week. But that is not the Body of Christ Church. The 144,000 Jews are also the man child of Revelation 12 sign. They are taken up to God so that the dragon does not devour him. The Body of Christ Church is raptured before the man of sin is revealed, before Israel's 70th week even begins.

I am very surprised that people don't understand that the return of Christ is the same as the "final" millennium (1,000 years) the day of the Lord, the final Sabbath and 7th day it's all the same day to God it's 1 day to us on Earth it's a 1000 years.

As we know, when Jesus died on the cross, He arose. THEN it says “THEM ALSO which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with Him”.
“…will God BRING WITH HIM.” This is saying that when Jesus rose, all those who died IN Christ, or walked holy before the Lord…rose also with Jesus at that time. How else could Jesus say to the thief “Today, you will be with Me in Paradise” IF there is a Pre or Mid-Trib Rapture? The dead-in-Christ has already happened!
Also remember that when Jesus died, the scriptures say in
Matthew 27:51
“At that moment the curtain in the Temple was ripped in two from top to bottom; and there was an earthquake, with rocks splitting apart. 52 Also the graves were opened, and the bodies of many HOLY PEOPLE who had died were raised to life; 53 and after Jesus rose, they came out of the graves and went into the holy city, where many people saw them.”
NOTICE that they were raised to life, but did not come out of the grave until Jesus rose. You may ask the question, as I did, “What happened to them. Did they live a life and then die again?” The Word does not say, but I can only assume that they went back up to heaven after being seen by the people, like Jesus did.

It is clear that here that the Rapture will not happen until after the Anti-christ has come.

Paul says the rapture (our gathering together unto him) can't happen until the Lawless one is revealed. Then Paul says the rapture happens SO the Lawless one can be revealed. So therefore, the rapture happens before and after the Lawless one is revealed?? Does that make sense? Isn't Paul contradicting himself?
In the original Aramaic, falling away or apostasy means anti messiah, rebellion, falling away from the faith, etc. don't YOU be deceived!! We aren't going anywhere until that man of sin is revealed in the temple of God, and stops the regular sacrifices!

About the removing off the restrainer, can be described that God removing himself from restraining the man of sin as you suggsted, but the argument as the Church is the restrainer is also the same thing that God is taking the church away from restraining evil in the world. your Answer God is subjective.

Because Father God remains in full control over all affairs, HE alone sets the timing. And He can and does preordain different ones as He chooses to use (both good and bad kinds; in this case for restraining the disclosure/unveiling/revealing of the endtime Fake Christ). Not to forget it could well be a restraining through His servant army of angels too, holding back this antichrist's reveal event.
There is precedence of that all over the bible. Also, the term 'he' restrainer holds reference to what's of less import in the wider overall context of that bible chapter, and we can know a church is never referred to as a 'he'. A church is always referred as 'she'. Objectively therefore I dont see this as a particular instruction for the church to strive/stress too much in restraining.
In any case, the He to watch out against is the man of sin/lawlessness. Not to trust that one, but God (restrainer subject) we can trust and stay loyal to.. whatever comes at us down the track.

Older bibles used 'departing', not 'falling away'. The only one that used 'falling away' was the Bishop's bible, which was never well received at the time.
The restrainer is the angelic principality tasked with that. The angel (Gabriel)tasked with restraining leaders of these world empires explain this to Daniel in chapter 10. He even asserts that no other person stand with him in so doing except Michael.

It seems it would be reasonable to speculate that the world before taking the mark might have to go through meditative techniques of emptying the mind to "activate their chakras" - raising the global vibration and consciousness - as this seems to be the goal of what the New Age religion wants to achieve on this planet - thereby opening themselves up to internal demonic influence and deception in the belief system that they are a god and apart of this universal god force energy - as we hear about happening in so many 'New Age to Jesus' testimonies on YT.
So many religions other than Biblical Christianity already have mind emptying techniques incorporated into their worship practices that are giving them some sort of spiritual experience and "opening the 3rd eye". Maybe that's the significance of taking the mark of '666' is personal acknowledgment and identification that I recognize that 'I AM' apart of this universal god consciousness and as man (in the sense of a Gnostic belief system) and have come to recognize being created by the Demiurge on the 6th day of the Creation, that 'I AM' God and am in the process of being a part of the spiritual evolution of the planet.
Also find it interesting how the earth is associated with the altar. Seems like God might be giving those on the earth 'a taste' of what it would be like to reject God's sacrifice. That if they ultimately reject Jesus as the sin offering - that they themselves would become that sin offering bearing the direct wrath of God. Revelation 8 "silence in heaven...then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
You should take a different approach to this particular verse. Paul is speaking from references of the Old Testament and Jewish books that speak of messiahs coming . You need to recall there was no New Testament stuff he was gleaning from. This verse has several roots that refer back to feast days particularly the fall feast. The Jewish mindset was a taking away similar to a ship sailing out of sight and the Jewish grammar has the same idea for the words ( falling away) . I think you will be surprised how well the earlier Jewish texts fit what Paul is saying. We gentiles kinda took that verse down a rabbit trail and it stuck.

I believe if we had proper Aramaic translations instead of Greek translations of Aramaic wording would be more clear for everyone.

I've had this pre millennium argument with so many people that I am convinced the reason they don't get it is because they're not going go in the rapture because they have not received the Holy Spirit ... study the parable of the 10 Virgins... Matthew 25 ... it is quite clear.
Matthew 24 and 25 have nothing to do with the church, which is removed BEFORE the events described in those two chapters (2 Thess. 2:6-8). Jesus is answering questions about his second advent at Armageddon (depicted in Mt. 24:28-31 and the parable of the 10 virgins), the end of the age, and the separation of the wheat from the tares. An event when Israel is saved (Zech. 12:9-13:1), not the church. On this day (the day of the Lord) ALL the saints come WITH Him (Zech. 14:1-5; Jude 14-15; Rev. 19:11-14).
Your interpretation is pretty interesting. You are apparently saying that these passages have no being on the pretribulation view of the rapture. As I was watching your video I was beginnig to to see how the pretribulatipn view does not have to rely on these passages.
Mt.24:29-31 tells us plainly that the Day Christ returns is the Day of the Rapture, not before, and it is also Judgment Day, 2Tim.4:1 and 2Thes.2:1-12 concur. The sequence of events is told us beginning in Mt.24:3 as Jesus answers the question in that chapter put to Him. He concludes by saying we've been told in advance, vs.25. Because we are told in advance thereby we can spot false prophets who change times and events as in Dan.7:25. There simply is no Pre-Trib Rapture without changing times and events. Neither is there a thousand year reign of Christ in Person from Jerusalem because we've been told in advance clearly of the unfolding of End Time events. When Christ returns, it is the end of the Great Tribulation, it is the Rapture and Judgment Day all spelled out clearly in Mt.24, et al.

@@jswhosoever4533 This is a great question, because I've read just about everything written by the early church writers of the first 2-3 centuries, and I can say with a high degree of confidence that they were not expecting a pre-tribulation rapture. That was a doctrine that arose to prominence much later, and new doctrine is not true doctrine.

He has always tried their faith. He didn't keep Noah and his family from the flood, He preserved them through it. He allowed Israel over and over again to be punished by the nations, taken into captivity, and preserving a remnant. What is coming soon will be no different. God's people will be tested. Jesus NEVER spoke on the rapture. He only spoke of His 2ed coming. His 2ed coming is NOT when the rapture occurs. The rapture is an appearing of the Lord, not His coming. An eagle is considered an abomination to eat otherwise an unclear bird. Antiochus with the pig and the Romans with the eagle. The eagle became a war standard that was set up around Jerusalem before it's desolation by Titus and Vespasian in 70.

We can see that the day of Christ is the day Christians are judged at the Judgement Seat of Christ. And, of course 2 Thes. 2:1 sets the subject of the 2 Thes. 2 chapter.

I believe the falling away happens to the church-at-large around the hour of testing (Tribulation), which comes upon the whole world.
In Revelation, God makes a distinction between the earthly church-at-large and the saints.
The earthly church of professing believers fall away, but the saints will overcome.
During the Tribulation, the saints comprise those who will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and who loved their lives not even unto death.
I believe the Day of Christ/the Day of the Lord is the Millennium. Paul is here teaching Premillennialism. I have found this interpretation very consistent with other Biblical references to that Day. "...one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" (2 Peter 3:8b).
The day of the Lord is ONE DAY (Zech. 14:1-7).
2 Peter 3:8 says "AS A", not IS A. It's an analogy attributed to a timeless God. Psalm 90:4 says
"For a thousand years in THY (God's ) sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night".
One day (24 hours) and 3 or 4 hours (a watch in the night) are different periods of time, making this passage an analogy also.
So, what do people teach? 1000 years means one day. One day means 1000 years. 1000 years means 3 or 4 hours. One prophetic day equals a year on earth. ALL of these teachings a false.
God does not live on earth, and is not bound by earth time. Time passages mentioned in scripture can only literally mean earth time, which humans are subject to, and who the prophecies are written to.
The day of the Lord can only be one 24 hour day. The phrase says "day" and Zechariah called it ONE day. It ushers in the millennial period of 1000 years ON EARTH, which is never called the day of the Lord.
Well please try to have an open mind on this because I am finding that the discovery that the day of the Lord is the Millennium opens a treasure trove throughout the scriptures.
Okay, so you cited "one day" in Zech 14:7a but in 2 Peter 3:8 the apostle also writes about "one day" being as a thousand years. Now, he says one day is _with the Lord_ as a thousand years. But Zech 14:7a furthermore says, "But it shall be one day *which shall be known to the LORD,"* so both verses are from the Lord's perspective, the perspective that sees a thousand years as one day, as yesterday when it is past. And why did you stop at verse 7, when verse 8 says, "And it shall be *in that day,* that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: *in summer and in winter shall it be."*
I don't really like the phrase "earth time" because it isn't a Biblical phrase and therefore I feel it is a gateway for error to creep in. But having said that, because you explain your point of view using that phrase, I will say that what Peter is telling us is that a thousand years of earth time is like one day in the sight of God. And he says this in the immediate context of speaking of the day of the Lord (see esp. vv. 7, 10), albeit particularly in terms of how long the Church must wait for that day to come. So since a thousand years of earth time is like one day to God, why should God not call this thousand years of His earthly rule the day of Christ?
And remember that God had said to Adam concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, "...you shall not eat of it, for in the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die" (Gen 2:17). And after Adam ate, no man has ever lived a full thousand years. 969 is the longest. THEY DIE IN THE SAME DAY THEY FIRST SIN. Therefore Jesus Christ still has a thousand years of earth time coming to Him! He shall have His full day!
And here's a practical point: if you really consider everything that is going to happen on the day of the Lord, it doesn't really fit into a day, which is a twelve hour period. And remember, the LORD alone will be exalted in that day (Isaiah 2:11, 17). Don't you think after thousands of years of man's vainglory, it is right that LORD alone should be exalted on earth for more than twelve hours? But the LORD alone shall be exalted for the whole Millennium, while Jesus reigns on earth! This also proves that the day of the Lord is the Millennium.
I agree that the day of the Lord is the day of God's wrath and millennial period follows but what I am saying is that the day includes all of this and it BEGINS with wrath and the first resurrection, followed by Christ's rule on earth and subjugation of all enemies, and it concludes with events such as the destruction of death, the Great White Throne judgment, and the Son's delivering up of the kingdom to the Father.

According to 1 Thessalonians 5, the day of the Lord is the day of the rapture. Notice the conjunction word but at 1 Thessalonians 5:1

The falling away doesn't fit with a mass exodus from the faith. "THE falling away" . The conjunction "and" makes them happen simultaneously. Unless you have a multitude of people leaving the faith in one day, the two can't be said in the same sentence.

Good question. Paul didn't think they received a letter as if from him saying the rapture had taken place. No, it's the day of the Lord, the time of Jacob's trouble, they were told had begun. Their concern was they had missed the rapture.
