Man, watching this 2009 Defense! was something special, if they would have had ANY help from the offense that year, this team would have been a top 10 team
I wonder how many weeks after this game that Colt McCoy saw Ndamukong Suh in his sleep? I still to this day, in my lifetime that I have watched college football, never saw a defensive performance as dominant as Suh's was here for Nebraska. You figure, that 09 team had any kind of elite QB, they probably are one loss or undefeated and potentially playing for a national title. That Nebraska defense was really good.
If it wasn't for the kick out of balance on the kickoff which put them at the 40 and the horse collar tackle Nebraska would have won the Big 12 championship
@@EvanderTrolyfield wym doubtful. During this day, computers made the rankings. Florida was only below Texas and Alabama in the final BCS poll. There's literally no way a Cincinnati or TCU would've jumped Florida. Not to mention TCU was actually #4 and Cincy was #5 in the final poll
No killer mindset on the Husker team. It's 2023 and I can't tell you how many times my Huskers fail to either burn down the clock on offense or get a stop on defense.

I watched this when I was younger and rewatching it, that defense was amazing. If they had half a qb as good as McCoy that team easily smokes Texas.

The Big East / American was an AQ conference in the BCS era. That only changed with the CFP.
