You are really bringing it now young man. I am becoming a big fan. And yes I'm old..61 but anticipation and reading paddles and knowing tendencies as well as staying short on shots and staying on balance all help with fast hands for an old guy.
My college psych professor studied reaction time extensively. He found it was a key factor in what separated the highest performing athletes and musicians. He found no way to train it. It’s basically genetic in his opinion.
Great video. I watch a lot of pro pickleball on RUclips, and have aways wondered how pros seem to slide and be in position, as if they knew where their opponents are hitting the ball.
@@mra2424 I don’t, zero. I’m pretty selfish with my time. I like ladies though but for me to attract a lady isn’t easy. I have to go to Thailand usually and bring my wallet.
Your video is a commendable blend of professional expertise, practical advice, and engaging content, making it a valuable resource for anyone looking to enhance their pickleball skills. Wishing you many years of success!
Not just the pros you’d mentioned have fast hands, but also you! Thanks for making this video. Much appreciated! How tight are you holding your paddle when you’re hitting those shots, and while driving the ball? Thanks
Thanks and thanks for watching. I usually hold my paddle 3-10 or so, but sometimes when countering, I'll grip tighter to have more force behind my shots.
Thanks! I’ll assume the lighter and slower the shot or when blocking the looser we are with our grip, and the harder and faster we hit we should tighten up?
😂 amazing opening lines
Hahaha thanks dog

Higher level strategy and shot selection theory! I’m always trying to add to my game and this is something I haven’t thought about. Thanks Zane
Rofl, you are correct: I'm old, and they are pros. Keep the helpful videos coming!!

Can you teach us not to storm off the court after a wicked point after dumping the ball into the net? 😂 Tell me that was a joke Zane, PLEASE.
Did you notice that he left his paddle on the court? Nobody would leave their paddle behind.
