Don't Be Average. Just Ask Coach Gainiac! ⛩️

Pretty sure vertical pulling targets lats more than upper back.
You are correct but it certainly depends on how they're performed, and lots of people don't know how to properly engage their lats in pullups, so rows and the like can be a good approach.
@@akathegainiacHello, will negative pull ups help build lats? I can only pull myself halfway up.
@@mugy9049yes they will
@@akathegainiac wait, something doesn't add up, you're telling people it's better to train horizontal pulls with calisthenics, than just spending a bit of time learning how to properly do pull ups for lats?
That lat spread is insane 🔥
Vertical movements and pull overs, use a slow eccentric and get the stretch with full range of motion, bottom to up
Just offering extra knowledge, hand grip also matters. Using underhand grips will further isolate the traps, while overhand will further isolate your upper back.
Whats the diference of each grip?
@@ericcartman9594i believe its to do with the rotation of your shoulder and the distance muscle fibers have to contract are different with your wrist rotated
@@ericcartman9594 do you mean the physical difference as in how to grip. Or the difference in what it does exactly?
Love your videos bro, keep doing what you do,wanna look like you soon😊
You got this! Thanks 👊
YOOOOOOO 😂
Thanks coach
Legend! I figured it was a great way to start a new series 🙏👊
Your impressive
I'm not average, I'm below average
Everyone is at some point. The journey is the goal.
How do I train Shoulder in Calisthenic?
Pike Push ups, Handstands with a wall if you can’t hold it yet, Handstand push ups with wall assists, Handstand press are all exercises to target them but Push ups and Dips do train them too especially if you can’t do the other ones yet
Unless you genuinely cannot afford a set of dumbells, there's really no reason to train shoulders with calisthenics. You'll put a lot of extra strain on them and won't be able to isolate the different parts of your shoulders compared to using a set of dumbells.
Hey coach, how can I get abs asap, but I'm a lazy mf
Why does it have to easy why can't it be hard? Do you think if every lazy ass could get a six pack it would have value?
@itsak888 No, I'm just saying I'm lazy and I want to get better, so I want to improve my body, that's all
@@IXL_ESCAPE Don't listen to that guy, it doesn't have to be that hard! Just start with a little bit of movement each day. The hardest part is getting used to a new routine, so don't worry about how difficult the exercises are yet!
@akathegainiac thank you so much you have been a great inspiration for me and I love your content
@@IXL_ESCAPEgotta start small and work your way up, from my experience you don’t wanna throw the whole book all at once, otherwise there’s a strong chance you’ll lose interest. Gotta start small by slowly incorporating progressively harder exercises and activities and before you know it you’ll have your own routine.
how do I target shoulders
with calisthenics
Lateral raises and shoulder presses. No reason to completly exclude weight training
@@sethsbikehacks2730some people dont have access to weights
Pike pushups, pseudo pushups, pullups
Every exercise that involves some sort of handstand or handstand progression.
For example Pike push ups and wall assisted Handstands
Basically every single move in calisthenics uses shoulders
Just do pull ups 💀
It’s actually best to do both horizontal and vertical movements to grow any muscle
