We tie these for striped bass - they work great. I enjoy the enhancements you do in making your flies, like the red wrap, the crystal flash on the head after whip finish - the alcohol wipe - etc. Thanks and keep the videos coming! >-
goanglingblues: thanks so much for you feedback and I am really happy to hear you like my videos and even more that you are catching fish with the flies!
Always tight lines and stay safe and healthy...
Thank you so very much. Your fly is clean and beautifully tied. I much prefer your unhurried and deliberate approach to tying than the rapid-fire presentations of many of the commercial tyers. You present tying as an art in its own right, one dersrving care, attention to detail, and a certain peaceful enjoyment.
Please keep the videos comng.
Don

Beautiful fly!
Could you list all the materials as a reply to my comment? I will try it on the sea trout, i cant find any baitfish flies i like, but now i have:)
Hi David, thanks for your comment... For the wing downside I used white polar hair. Than Krystal Flash in UV Tan. The top of the wing is Craft Fur in Olive. As Thread I use a monofilament thread. The Baitpoint is Uni-Stretch in chinese red. The Tinsel is Lagertun Flat Large. The glue is Tuffleye and the eyes are holographic eyes in red.... hope I did not miss anything and that this helps...
