In this baitfish fly tying video I will tie a small 2-3cm long streamer pattern for saltwater and freshwater fly fishing.
List of materials:
Hook: Ahrex SA280 Minnow #8
Eyes: Diamond Shrimp Eyes in 4mm
Thread: Veevus E02 / 8/0
UV Resin / UV Lamp / Superglue
Wings: long Polar Dub fibers
Body: Hare`s dubbing with flash

Fantastic video. What type of rabbit hair did you use? Any synthetic alternatives that have worked well? Last, how long is the overall fly in 3/0 hook? Beautifully done.
@@321Phinney length is about 15cm Rabbit is Nayat (snowshoe rabbit I guess) and an alternative is may long Craft Fur! Hope that helps! Tight lines!

Tie the pattern with a mix of red and green or yellow hair on the dorsal portion and you have a great steelhead streamer!

Yes, they do bahave different…. My reco is in my opinion the easiest with good results…
