Fly Tying a Reverse Tied Polar Fiber Fly

  • Here is a fly tying video of a fly that I just recently concocted as a result of fishing a reverse-tied bucktail fly for many years. Give it a look and if you have the materials already, try the fly. I think you will find it breathes and moves quite naturally in the water. I have had good luck with it the past couple of weeks and wanted to share it with others in pursuit of smallmouth bass. My first go was with a tan colored fly that appears in a video shot recently on Sugar Creek (Indiana’s Sugar Creek for Smallmouth).     Nice tie Jeff. Ought to be productive with a sink tip to get it down a little bit.
