When are we bringing US soldiers back from Syria? They're just sitting ducks to Iran with just 900 soldiers there.
They should be protecting our borders, not other countries
If I’m not mistaken those troops are occupying Syrian oil fields so they are never going to leave until all the oil is gone, after that then we might hand the territory back to the Syrian government.

News for you is our forces are all over the world all the time. Notice this base is directly on the border of Jordan and Iraq? we put bases in strategic places for surveillance and support for missions we civilians never know about. There are clear cut reasons and we are not authorized to know what they are. The world is a dangerous and dirty place and our military knows they are possibly putting their lives on the line just by enlisting. I never dreamed I would be stationed in a remote base camp near a hostile border that was in the path of the entire Warsaw Pact Invasion Force. Had circumstances been different 98% of us would have died in the 1st day of an attack and we all knew it. The military isn't just about parading around in uniform. They keep us all safe and free by doing things on a daily basis that the average civilian cannot even imagine!
