Only because they cut the frames out of the animation. Which is a quick, easy, and dirty easy to speed up an animation thus movement. Think about what that means
As someone who tried to import Alucard’s walking animation to the N64 I empathize with the developers. It’s really hard to get the offsets correct so he doesn’t look like he’s jamming to this port’s AMAZING soundtrack

I thought that this lost port was just with a few levels, but it really suprised me that it have an ending! GGs!
Can’t wait for the McDonald’s happy meal toy re-release of this port. Technology has advanced so far that it might even run at 10 fps instead of 5. Props to you for actually playing through the entire thing, I would’ve definitely given up during the “platforming” sections lol

Unironically the best Gamecom game.
Incidentally, all the bosses he faced after getting the bat are in fact fully programmed, it's just the bat is brokenly overpowered and kills everything in one hit.

I was hoping to see you play this as soon as I saw Matt McMuscles cover it, was not disappointed! Also, don't know why, but there's something poetic about getting bodied by Lesser Demon in the regular Long Library, clearly this is the only version able to do that to you. XD

I finally beat Bloodstained ROTN, and loved it a lot more than I expected. Dare I say, it ties with DOS. Love to hear your thoughts.
How to fix the lagging. You turn off the emu and restart the emulator, problem solve. You can save state with the emu. Than load it. It have nothing to do with the game. Have everything to do with the emulator. The more you use load state from the emulator. The more lag the game will be. Just turn off the emu, start the game and load the save state you use with the emu. Yes the game have the coffin. You do not save in a battery. You get a password. It's just better to save in the coffin. But also save state with the emulator. Forget the password system.

Just finished watching.
I enjoyed the video alot but have a piece of constructive criticism . The very start of you playing was a bit jarring. The cuts came so fast before I had even processen what (+1) the hell im even watching.
After the start the cuts worked better. So. Its like the same cuts but I had wrapped my brain around rhe game

Oh Dear god. Well give the devs props for trying though because to me the wasn't an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. Considering how good the game is on PS1 and the Saturn version even though the Saturn version isn't as good as the PS1 due to the hardware of the Saturn being behind the PlayStation. This is like Doom on the SNES and RE2 on the N64 technical marvels that shouldn't have been ported to those systems. I am not going to comment on how terrible this port is because it was unreleased and that would be too judgmental. The Devs did what they could and they fit a CD-ROM based game onto a Cartridge that was 2MB (16megabits) in size very impressive.
