Methodists sing these hymns too. So do Presbyterians. My dad's roommate in college is a Methodist minister, and I tease him and say "You Methodists stole Fanny Crosby's hymns from us Baptists. He replied, "Well you Baptists stole John and Charles Wesley's hymns from us Methodists". True, there are doctrinal disagreements between different denominations, but we are singing about the same God, the same Lord, and the same Jesus.
@@ILoveOldTWC And guess what, Catholics sing this hymn too, with great enthusiasm! I love the way music- that is so many hymns- can cross over all of the boundaries and be enjoyed and sung by almost every denomination!
😂 What a human thing to say. As Gloria Gaither says, when all God's singers get home, we'll finally hear the harmony God has woven our communal and individual parts.
1 All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. 1 Timothy 5:24-25 24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. 25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
One I like about Bro. Aaron is that he never skips any verses. Most music leaders will sing the 1st, 2nd, and the last (usually the 4th) verses. The 3rd verse more times than not, is left out. I don't like that. I don't want any of the stanzas skipped. I want all the verses sung. I wish whoever started "We'll sing the 1st, 2nd, and the last" hadn't done that. You miss a story the writer intends to be sung and I often hear it's due to time. Well, why try to move the service along? Singing one or two more stanzas is not going to hurt anything.
If you are listening to this, wondering if there is a Jesus- He is real. He's complete, tender love and He wants to know you. Look for Him and you'll easily find Him.
1 John 4:7 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. Matthew 5:44 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. 2 Corinthians 7:1 1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Hebrews 12:14 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. 1 Peter 1:16 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Ephesians 5:27 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 2 Peter 3:14 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
James 4:7 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Ephesians 6:12 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Galatians 5:16-17 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Mark 7:21-23 21 From from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, and evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. 1 Corinthians 10:13 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bare it. James 1:12-16 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

A good Christian song will always evangelize with the cross as center focus, GRACE GRACE GRACE! and nothing but Grace, Glory to His Holy name.

Do you have the "Diadem" version?
ILovestorms no, they haven’t sung that one as a Congregational. Hopefully one day they will.
You could sing the words to Amazing Grace to this tune. Think about it.
Why is a dispensational church promoting covenant theology? (Look at the second verse)
Because Believers ARE the chosen seed of Israel's race.
Way to many commercials so I am going out of your channel
RUclips has a new policy where they can put ads on any channel they want, even if the channel doesn’t want them. I don’t have control over that.
@@danielbaptist1611 I know and it's so annoying because people come to video videos not ads.
