The swivel feature helps out a lot when I am spinning around the in the greenhouse and garden. It does give a drip every now and again when I have the nozzle it turned in just the right way. Sort of like an air hose connection that seeps a little air when you maneuver it around. The benefit of not getting tangled up really outweighs the occasional drip though. The hose made it through my abuse all summer and the quick disconnect was awesome. I put a connection on my outdoor sink and quickly clicked it in when I was processing tomatoes in the garden. Look for a 1 year review video in the Spring.
Thank you for this video, brother. I live in a townhome with no outdoor spigot and I’m sick of hauling watering cans back-and-forth. I figured I’d attach a hose to my kitchen sink. Bought this hose with the intent of having to buy an adapter separately but to my surprise it came with it. I had my hose on the Faucet backwards and water was shooting up all over my kitchen. I turned it around and put the red square piece side on the faucet and now I’m watering my garden in the front yard. Thanks again and happy gardening!
I bought that same exact hose at Walmart. I also have a 75' Flexzilla 5/8" hose (without the built-in quick disconnects). I got rid of the one you show. The smaller diameter just killed my pressure and flow when connected to a sprinkler. And I did not like all the plastic on the ends of the hoses. I am able to put beefier disconnects on the bigger hose. That 5/8" hose with the built-in quick disconnects is strictly a light duty hose. Sounds like it works well for hand watering, but I can tell you that it doesn't do well with a sprinkler. I love the bigger hoses from Flexzilla, though.
Thanks for the great informative video. Saw it in store and didn't understand what it did. Now I do. Thanks. The hose is drinking water safe. I have an outdoor sink. This will be great! I can switch from sink to multiple watering heads. Thanks again. Gave a 👍
Thanks Chief ! I manage the Mosaic Community Garden in San Diego, (a retired PH) and thanks for sharing this DEMO which NOW makes it easier for our board members to sign off on a useful investment (25 raised & 4 greenhouses) looks like an Outstanding product, "Thanks-in-Advance"
Glad it helped. I have been using it every morning for the past couple weeks before work, sure makes watering easier and haven't knocked over a plant yet. I hope to get my watering system in this weekend. Making these videos sure makes me appreciate your old job. (ret BMC, converted from SM) I went through Photo Intel school back in 95' over by the old RTC. I'm going to have to make a stop by CV next time I am down in San Diego and see your community garden.
I have 3 of the flexzilla hoses, 2 50 ft and 1 100 footer. Love them! I bought one of the rolling hose reels on wheels at tractor supply. This whole combo makes it fun to irrigate. Now I want this one for around the house area. I currentyl using a 25 foot goodyear ive had forever but tired of tripping on it and its alot heavier too. I use to have all rubber craftsman hoses, sold them all and bought flexzilla. My shoulder loves me for that decsion lol. I was able to get good money for the used all rubber craftmsna which made these flexzillas I have super cheap. Once I sell this goodyear I will be officially finished with the all rubber hoses
thank you for your review! i just received mine and was looking for more of a user guide. very informative and thorough! plus thank you for the the bit about lifetime warranty !
I find that an orange or grapefruit bag works best for hanging accessories at the hose connection. I wonder why the bright green color I guess it's so that you see it and you don't want to go over it with your lawn tractor?
If your Apex is the bright orange one from HD, I have the same hose and feel the same way. It's a great hose, but I wish they made the same thing in a 5/8" version.
Just got mine. Love it. Got the accessories too. I have one piece I'm still trying to figure out of its a replacement or not lol I also DIDN'T get the hose hanger with mine. It's the 50 ft one so maybe you got that with the 100 ft hose you received?
I saw them at Walmart and bought another one for the front of the house had the hose hangar. It works great washing the car. The extra piece is for your spigot (faucet).
The one in this link does. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTAQKR1/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B01MTAQKR1&linkCode=as2&tag=cmoorestarts-20&linkId=4f89d37e07767e2ac50a980627a40390
I have this hose but with no former knowledge of a water hose I had no idea how to use it. How do I get another connector because I lost it and cant use any attachments.
I love your reviews of this hose and the 100ft Flexzilla. I'm looking for a new hose and need 100ft. However, would you recommend (2) 50 footers or (1) 100 ft?. I really like the swivel capabilities and attachments on the 50ft but not sure how securely 2 of them attach without leakage.
The extra quick disconnect could be used to connect two 50's. That way, you only have 100ft when you need it without having to twist the connection on every time. Only thing is that the 50ft is a little smaller diameter so you don't get as much water flow. For hand watering in the garden, that doesn't really matter.
I got a bionic garden hose, after it lays a few mins, with pressure or with out pressure on the hose, when you turn the water back thru the hose, it looks like milk, and after it runs a few mins. it is still cloudy looking, how does this hose look after it is been turned off for a while
The spigot connector comes with the hose. Melnor makes a quick connect kit that is compatible and can be purchased from Home Depot or other box stores.
I picked it up on Amazon in the beginning of May for $29.71 the price went up to $49.06 because of spring/summer. It should go back down to $30 in OCT-NOV. It is well worth it even for $50. I am still using it every day. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTAQKR1
Sorry, I must of not hit enter. Other than being very dirty, they are working great. Froze them a couple time and still no holes. I did buy another one for the front of my house.
Thanks for that feedback. After you comment, I realized that I did only show about 3 seconds of the provided nozzle. All I can say about the provided nozzle is it works. It is either a high pressure fog or solid stream. Both are way too strong for watering plants, but great for washing cars. Hope that info helps. Happy Gardening!
Nice review but how do you feel about the swivel feature??? 😊😊😊

Take me down to the paradise city where the garden's green and the veggies are pretty ... oh won't you please take me home .... yeaaaaah.
That's good.

I am doing the same thing with my greenhouse sink. Happy Gardening!
Bought 4 adapters and a spigot adapter in a kit for 9.99 from eBay. no shipping fee. can’t wait to use it when it warms up
Good deal! HappyGardening!

Nice. I love mine.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I could not figure out how to use the attachments lol
You're welcome. Happy Gardening!

I hope you like it as much as I do mine. Mine is still going strong even after abusing it a little.

You guessed it. Lawn tractor! I am too lazy to coil my hoses every day if I am just going to use it again the next morning.
Glad it worked out for you!
Thanks again!

I have a buddy that has a bright orange Apex and he loves it.
Thank you very much for the information!

Nice garden
Thank you.
Excellent review. I need a new hose and the choices are overwhelming. Your review has made my mind up on which hose to buy. :)
Thank you. Glad it helped.

I just bought a flexzilow hose. I have no idea what you are doing 😀
It has survived my garden for a couple years now. Happy gardening!
Are the Flexzilla hoses soft, and subtle rubber? Most rubber garden hoses I used are too stiff and hard to maneuver? Thanks
Easy to maneuver through my raised beds. Happy Gardening!
QUESTION🤔🤔🤔 WHERED YOU FIND THE FLEXZILLA GARDEN HOSE I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT B4, & DO THEY ALL COME WITH THE HANGER & QUICK DISCONNECT?
The one in this link does. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTAQKR1/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B01MTAQKR1&linkCode=as2&tag=cmoorestarts-20&linkId=4f89d37e07767e2ac50a980627a40390
I have this hose but with no former knowledge of a water hose I had no idea how to use it. How do I get another connector because I lost it and cant use any attachments.
My local hardware store had universal attachments that work with the Flexzilla.

C Moore Starts Thank you for your info and quick response!
No problem, happy gardening!
Do you have a link to the hose rod you're using in the video?
Sorry, bought it at my local Bi-Mart. A Pacific Northwest Chain.
@@CMooreStarts thanks! I ended up buying this hose because of your video. Great content!
Mine are still good even after 3 winters. :)
Any idea if 2 - 1/2 hoses with these2 ends could be connected? My brain can’t figure it out.
Only if you buy another quick disconnect set. Mender hose quick disconnect is fairly inexpensive. Happy Gardening!
@@CMooreStarts thanks very much for responding. I bought another set. I’ll
Also review your other suggestion! Have a good one.
No problem.
welp you sold me, just placed my order on Amazon.
I have been using mine daily wagering starts. Happy gardening!
still good 2 years later?
Just came in 5 minutes ago from watering my plants in the garden with them. Happy Gardening!

Haven't had any discoloration or particles in the past 3 years. One comment said they had small particles in their Flexzilla.
Where do you purchase the spigot connector?
The spigot connector comes with the hose. Melnor makes a quick connect kit that is compatible and can be purchased from Home Depot or other box stores.
Where was this specific kit purchased, please.

How is it doing for you after almost 4 years?
You Love the comment but can’t answer the question??

@@CMooreStarts Magic eraser cleans them right up like new.
@@CMooreStarts thanks!!
Those are quick connects
Yep. Happy gardening!
I've had.nothing but problems with this hose. The connection at the nozzle end always pops off.
Sorry to hear that. I luckily have not had any problems with mine.
I have that problem as well. The hose actually burst near the end and now leaks and comes apart on a regular basis after I reattached it.
If you have hard water you could be getting some buildup which could be casing the above problems. try some wd40 silcone spray
Ive also heard these plastic quick connects dotn last long. Try getting solid brass ones
Little plumbers tape no gasket 😮
I know right? I guess I was too excited about playing with the new hose.
Why wouldn't you show us how the nozzle it comes with works? I was interested in the product package not the wands you're using at your house.
Thanks for that feedback. After you comment, I realized that I did only show about 3 seconds of the provided nozzle. All I can say about the provided nozzle is it works. LOL.
