I really hope you're right! It's definitely time for the KH series to allow us to experience Kairi's journey the way we have with Sora and the other characters. Plus, more time with Aqua is always appreciated!
This is an inspiring video. What I love about Kairi in Melody of Memory is that she is starting to mature. After what happened to her, she knows that she needs more training, and I got so happy that she chooses to train with Aqua. While we may not see much of her in Kh4, I'm still excited to see where this can go and how far she'll come.
THANK YOU,there is so much potential inside of Kairi. She herself just doesn't know it yet,but Aqua will help her see it. Then Kairi is getting her boyfrined back before anything else happens to him or Riku.
I can see Kairi wielding Kingdom key in the future.Xion is technically a replica of Kairi and she wields the kingdom key.So if Xion can wield it,then Kairi can too
All I want is for Aqua to not take on Eraqus' teaching technique of "fight big ball of light". Some of the best Keyblade wielders of the modern era (Riku and Sora) Learned by exploring different worlds and letting the keyblade show what they had to do
oh i think aqua has a better training tactic in mind while kairi lacks physical skill she did take on xehanort with sora and freed the guardians its honestly sad that they still think she does nothing by keeping sora together it gave him a second chance to kill xehanort and she broke xmnas defense
I'm excited, but also wary, because I was also excited about her in KH3, and she ended up being a huge let down for the most part. I hope that Aqua ends up being a more competent teacher than Yen Sid or Merlin.
Though the question remains is: what will Kairi do *after* she'll be strong enough to be beside Sora and Riku? If you think about it, Xehanort's gone for good, the universe is finally at peace for the time being, and meanwhile Xigbar/Luxu and Foretellers are still hiding out of sight somewhere. What would she plan for then?
Whatever hope I feel for Kairi's future is dashed by the fact that a similar setup happened before in DDD and not much came out of that. Nomura hyped up the fact that she was gonna become a guardian of light, only for her to not contribute much outside of being one Sora's primary motivators in KH3. It's downright baffling that even with fans clamoring for Kairi to get her time in the spotlight and fight alongside her friends for years, the writers felt it made more sense for Kairi to get kidnapped and needing to be saved again. All the set-up and potential and promise in the world doesn't mean jack squat if there's no pay-off. And until I see Kairi actually throw hands against a powerful foe and not lose, or have her act with more agency and independence in the story, or have her actually succeed in rescuing Sora, I won't see the fact that she's training with Aqua as anything more than empty promise for now. What also gets me is the need to train just so she can "catch up" with the others and be ready for a new threat. Almost none of the other main keybladers have ever had to do something like that on-screen over the course of the series, and none of them really suffered for it. Sora, Riku, Ventus (even if he had a bit of training beforehand), Roxas and Xion are all capable of holding their own, and they learned almost entirely by going on their journeys around the worlds. Kairi's two best friends helped protect the worlds twice while being self-taught. Why is it then that Kairi in particular needs to undergo formal training when she can probably develop just as much, if not more by going on a journey of her own, or even accompanying Riku on Quadratum? Sure, the fact that it was a decision made of her own volition and not a mandate makes it sting less, but it's still a slap in the face to see Kairi being put on a bench 2 games later and 15 years after KH2.
I think it's good that Kairi is not automatically great with the keyblade because it always made zero sense to me that Sora and Riku had no teacher, especially with the introduction of BBS. It's imo the biggest mistake the series made and I'm glad it is being corrected through Kairi, who I commend for showing a level headed response to her shortcomings and not being impulse, following Riku to a realm that's entirely removed from what they know.
I think part of Kairi’s being a bit of a letdown in KH3 is strongly tied to the voice direction as well as some of the way the plot unfolded. At least with Hayden, Kairi felt a little spunky- still mostly a damsel in distress but one that believably had the ability to become a strong fighter if given the time and chance. With Alyson, she feels INCREDIBLY delicate and mailable- which was quite jarring to be told that Kairi is NOW getting stronger and more capable, as she losses all of her passion and spunk. I’ve always loved Kairi and will continue to love her, I just hope they can remedy this in the next games so she is much more believable and consistent to how we have experienced her in other games.

I love this!!! I agree so much, MoM was an amazing set up for her journey going forward! I can't wait to see Kairi and Aqua interact.
👍👍👍
I’m really happy that Kairi decided to be trained by Aqua! I just really hope she will have a bigger role in future games
Let's hope nomura won't forget her or use that like an excuse to not been developed .

@@Ash-Greninja-ud7ib No Xion is a replica of Sora/Roxas. Her appearance is due to Sora's memories of Kairi which are his strongest.
@@NinjaGirlSakura1 ohh my bad
👍👍👍
@@NinjaGirlSakura1 I don't think Chandler is wrong it can be both Sora's and Kairi's Replica. Think about it.
Man, I'm more than excited to see what's next for her
👍👍👍
yes I’m happy more stuff like this is being made. I’m so excited for her. She deserves so much more

I very much agree! Let’s hope E3 shows us a Kairi and Aqua game!

I wholeheartedly agree there has to be some good development coming for Kairi!

Finally be her turn to look for Sora
Great stuff as usual

I'm sorry but Hayden is far better than Alyson. I don't know why they changed voice actresses.
Anyone expected it to be a meme video that kairi is useless?
