‘I will always love pints!’ 😂😂 Guru ripping it up in Kilkenny. Were you sneaking whiskey chasers with those pint? You seemed pretty loose. Great job fella.
Love from Australia!! You're legit the reason why I have gotten hooked on Guinness. Every time you post a vid, I pull out a can of Guinness from the fridge and sit down and watch you. Feels like I'm sittin with a mate. Love your content mate!
In relation to the Shtick...discussed in detail with an old school barman before and he was of the view it's got to do with the amount of detergent they use in the washer. If you use too much it can leave a residue. There is a sweet spot to be struck with the amount used and it contributes to the overall taste of the pint...makes sense! ( he said they use half the recommended dose)
Yass, just so happen to have 12 cans of Guinness chilling in the fridge right noo. I'll imagine they taste as good as the pints you're drinking whilst watching this video.
Brings back memories of Kilkenny in 1996. I had some lovely pints of Guinness back then, but I am pretty sure that my regular pub from that stay doesn't exist any more. I think it was named Andy's pub or bar. I am also pretty sure it was in Rose Inn Street.
If I remember correctly, the best barman in Kilkenny - Liam - owns a part in Tynan's these days when it reopened. Happy days you were able to get a pint there!
Loved the vid. Aloha from Hawaii. Love my Guinness. Bucket list is to make it to Ireland. But went to the next best in America…Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore. Had me a fresh pint and enjoyed it with a nice cigar. Will do the same when I make it to Kilkenny.
"Kissing hands a shaking babies" is that going to be on the new mech. You should be doing a St Patrick's day special every year. Picture prefect pints those. Great vid
Class job sorry only seeing this now have never tasted a pint of Guinness while down in Killkenny but definitely will this summer cheers and great RUclips video 🍻
Had a hell of a time at Tynan's on a Monday night. Fire Department was there. Two guys singing and making up their own words to songs. The locals can throw down some pints. That's saying something coming from a guy from Wisconsin.
Do you ever notice that the best pints feel like they weigh slightly more than usual? big thick creamers, with the stout flowing down and a big bubble-free Millennium Dome curving over the top!
The Shtick I would imagine depends on the rinse aid they use in the dishwasher. A true test would be to have a pint pored into a glass that's been washed with rinse aid and glass wash, or a rinse aid and glass wash combined. Basically start asking what the glass washing process consists of.
Id say the shtick has to do with temperature of glass compared to the liquid going in. So if cold foam hits a room temp glass and kind of sticks as a result of that etc
Hey Guru! I desperately want to buy some of your merch and support the channel. However, when I went to the store and entered my info, it said it was unable to ship to my address. What might be the issue?
Tynans the sceilp and Cleeres were good call. The best pints for me in kk are The Nore Bar and Lenihans Lenihans is close to the train station and Nore bar is about 10mins walk from there
Tried it out of a can a few times. Tastes a bit smoother and milder than Guinness, you'd knock it back a lot quicker which is probably what Heineken are aiming for with the younger market. Can't see Guinness drinkers transferring to it!
Ya need to go back to brogans and get a pint from the front bar the other too bars are terrible compared to the front bar trust me I’m one of the bouncers
fuck me! loved Kilkenny but Jesus, got completely fecket there last time I was there! did do pint and a drop for every pint! trust , me, don't do that lol! hahha

Absolute gem of a video mate… you had me laughing out loud while you were singing ‘I will always love you’ to the pint 😂😂😂👍👍👍 so good..

Five cracking looking pints. Spot on regarding day 2 of a stag. Those quiet pubs are the only place to start..🍺

Great to see you in my hometown,The Sceilp is our local.
domer simpson, dome wasn’t built in a day, and domeo & juliet are incredible wordplay that i absolutely need more of
Thought you were gonna go 8.6/8.7 at the end there, looked serious! Great video as usual!

Cleeres I would have walked passed thinking it was a feckin butchers.
Soooo glad u went back….Kilkenny is a great place for pints….next time try to get a Kilkenny pint!🍺🍻
I was in The Front Room a few weeks ago, young lad is an absolute gent and poured an absolute cracker of a pint.
Napkin "coasters" are common here in NY. Annoying, they stick to the glass and don't hold spills well. You can't beat a decent, traditional beer mat.
The Shtick I would imagine depends on the rinse aid they use in the dishwasher. A true test would be to have a pint pored into a glass that's been washed with rinse aid and glass wash, or a rinse aid and glass wash combined.

Just drink the fucking pint ffs on about whether its sticks or not jesus
This would be a great video idea!!!! Do different types of glass wash and see how it shticks! Hand washed, glass washed etc
We need a "Dome wasnt built in a day hoodie" please
Congratulations on doing this full time! Not a bad way to make a living eh? Happy St Paddy's day to all the Irish lads and lasses, Cheers!
There's nowt like a nice long one from Mr Curran!
Half an hour, man!
Im off down to Gravediggers tomorrow afternoon. Best guinness in the land! See you there Guru, if you dare! Rob

23:14 spat oot ma Guinness laughing. Hehehe
That's your next merch.
Iiiiiiiiiiii will always lovvvvve pints !
Just a suggestion, you should try a pint On the ferry over to England
Next year you need to rate a pint in the Guinness village at Cheltenham 😂
Guru! If you're doing Kilkenny 2 get back up to Belfast for round 2 there. The Crown and Kelly cellars getting a 6.9 is almost criminal.

Will you be dropping any major dommage merch?
Did ya get lost looking for kittlers when ya let the Cleers 😂.

Last summer you weren’t able to find Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale in Kilkenny… did you even try this visit?
Tynans is some spot, defo personal top 3 pubs in Ireland.
75 degrees celsius 😅
That first pint looked absolutely mint🍺🍻🙏
Was in fallons across from St Patrick's cathedral last night. My god check that place out better than the gravediggers.
Kilkenny is the best beer/stout i ever had and it is only available in my hometown like a week in a 6 months

does the size of the head indicate creaminess ?

Surely the price of the pint should come into the overall result? Enjoyable vid btw.
The glass my still have cleaning agent on the surface which is causing it
Found this channel by accident and loving it. Greetings from Dublin 12.
I tried island's Edge in buncrana,a stout made by Heineken.have you tried it an what do you think of it?

3:50 for peak Domer J Simpson
3:49 "Domer the rock" haha 7:15 ealing outside of o'Brien's (decent spot) not the greatest place for Guinness to be fair

The lad in Cleeres was not your typical Guinness drinker.....who sipps a pint😱🙈🤯
24:10 fucking hilarious.

Went to O Riada glass was filthy, all stained with old Guinness which made the head stained brown🤮
Does the English fella know how to drink a pint of Guinness you swear he was shipping on whiskey on ice
No stags or hens!! That will age badly!
All good - except the Man U sub analogies ! YNWA
p.s I'm gaggin' a Guinness!
I'd prefer to drink water rather than a shite Guinness in London. Very few gaffs in UK I'd even bother ordering a Guinness.
Lack of shtick must have to do with glass cleanliness. It must!!
Cleaner the glass = less stick the cream sticks to the dirtiness of the glass
Residue from the detergent is the most common cause of no shtick
not true
