As a professional photographer and videographer I just purchased the Sony a 66000. This is by far the most impressive APS see camera I have ever used for video and photography. I have always preferred Sony cameras because Video has never been a strong suit for the competition Canon and Nikon mainly. They were great for photography but not so much video. Sony has always had a huge background in video production mainly with their studios Sony pictures and it shows anytime I pick up one of their cameras. Sony cameras are the only one I would ever pick up and use for video as well as photography and be satisfied. That’s not to say they are perfect but it’s about as close as we are going to get without spending crazy amounts of money on professional cinematic gear and having to have multiple cameras one for video and one for photo. This is just how I feel from one professional to another
for a "professional" (hahah) you are very sony fanboy biased. i also checked your videos. at first i thought im on christopher nolans youtube channel. "great professional videos" you created. would have never been able to do so with a canon, nikon or panasonic. let alone blackmagic.

I made the switch from Canon to the Sony a6400 when I decided to do live streaming a long with making cook videos. Can't beat the clean HDMI for live streaming and only 1 time my Sony overheated since I got it and that was user error.
Not having the 30 min record limit really is very helpful. I sometimes use my a6600 to film my peers at grad school doing presentations, and it’s not uncommon for those to go slightly over 30 mins. It’s great to not have to find a time midway to restart recording
I’ve been trying out multiple cameras and learning about different equipment and I search exclusively for your videos now. I need entertainment to keep me on track. What with ADHD and all, your energy and personality are 👌👌👌
I JUST bought one...I love it! It's like a mini A7iii. Maybe even better in some instances. I was literally one click from buying the bmpcc4k but decided to so a bit more research. I think that camera just has too many cons for my line of work, the a6600 just fits so much better!
@ravi cholachagudda it's on a tripod for me 100% of the time. Unless you are doing documentary style videos or vlogging, rolling shutter isn't a big deal. I honestly don't know if it's bad or not.

I bought the a6600 in December 2019 during a B and H promotion but never had a chance to use it during a trip until several days ago. I previously had the sony a6000 and loved the camera for travel. Ok, so when I came home, looked at the images on my macbook 15 inch screen, I was very, very impressed. The quality of the images is clearly better than the images from the A6000. I think, as well, that IBIS is helping with the clarity. I miss PANORAMA and pop up flash modes, available through the a6400, but wanted the latest software inside for image quality. Again, I do recommend this camera for its image quality.

@@DeepteshLovesTECH pretty much the X-T100 just with slightly faster AF, proper 4K@30, and that swivel screen. That sounds great and all but coming from the X-T100 and having the 200 for a bit, the specs but don't perform as you'd think. It's something I've found out from trying out the X-T30 and even the X-T20. They blow it out of the park in terms of both stills and video. The XT-100/200 just seem like a whole different generation behind, I just can't go back after experiencing that..
In general: - The contrast and color look somewhat off from the X-T20/30. - The video is veery sub-par. Just try looking for samples online, faces look somewhat pasty or soft or mushy. - Using it feels slow and unresponsive, even compared to the X-T20 - It overall feels very entry-level and with that price just buy used please.

It is a great camera I use it to film most of my videos on my channel. And the colors are great straight out of the standard profile. A have lenses are the Sigma 16, 30, 56mm f1.4. It’s also the most complete portable hybrid camera out there due to the limitless recording, flip up screen, mic and headphone input. And a beast of a photo camera!

Burrito Bro's Videos if you’re only shooting stills, yes that’s a no brainer. I shoot video 75% of the time so the 4k60 + 1080p240 + 10bit internal + Film simulations (Eterna) were the reasons I sided with the Fuji, and for the 25% of the time I do take stills it’s more than capable of producing sharp images albeit low light conditions.

@@rickchardet01 I've worked with a 80D before buying a a6300. Depends on what you do a lot, a6300 offers more on video. 4k, 120fps, logs. Autofocus good on a6300 as well, 80D has the touch AF really good and that's and advantage, but again, it depends on what you and what you prefer.

I was so tempted to upgrade my A6300 for this new camera. However, for the similar price of an A6600, I got the Canon M50, plus the Sony 18-135 and the Sigma 16mm f1.4 lenses :) So I've just ordered them instead, and will have to get the A6600 another day. Small APS-Cs...?! The X-T4 is much to big for an APS-C...with the 26-55 2.8 the Fuji Combo ist 280 Gramm heavier than the 6600 with the 16-55 2.8 from Sony. and over all much bigger. You are in size, weight and cost in the Fullframe Area...

I just bought the A6600 as my first real camera, was using my phone for all my videos. Now im just trying to learn the sony as a brand new photographer.
@@muntahakhan5336 I love it, I actually purchased mine used at a camera shop for $1200 including a kit lens, normally they run new $1400 for the body only. It has improvements over the 6500 such as longer battery life, quicker autofocus, the 6600 also lets you record unlimited time, the 6500 can record up to 30 minutes per clip. Also the 6600 allows the LCD screen to tilt further. From what I was reading the image qualify itself is about the same.
Just exchanged my A6300 for A6400 just recently and have filmed a few things off a USB battery pack. It's been great so far and the Samyang 12mm f2 with clear image zoom makes for a good combo.
It was the best until x-t4 :) and like x-t4 it is so expensive you start thinking if FF not will be better :D so i think SONY really should think about their prices, because everything is too expensive compare to rest.

In most cases, even 1080p 60fps is more than adequate, especially if the overall image quality is already very good. What you would need more likely is an unlimited record time and long-lasting battery; something the XT-4 couldn't offer.

They're all good until they hit their time limit. Nonsense though. I'd rather take the less impressive 1080p 60fps but be able to go all the way to 3 hours of non-stop recording than a 4K 60fps that's only good for 30 mins or less, and shootout time of under 3 hours. Even for the price of those cameras, full-frame cameras already exist in their price range, so there's not even a point in getting an APS-C camera right there, so jokes on you.

DJ Joeflirt x100f sucks lol. We’re talking Fuji’s top cameras. Xt3, xt4, gfx50r, gfx100, xpro3. But focusing on Xt3 and xt4.. they both destroy most of Sony’s full frame hybrid cameras, sony’s aspc aren’t even in the equation. Specs, usability, customization, build quality etc. They blow a7iii away with video and take just as good photos. Really the only advantage is sony’s full frame low light and eye af. But other than that, the only sony mirrorless cameras fuji is struggling to compete with are the a7r3 and 4. But even then, fujis video codecs just destroy sony’s no 4k 60 or 400mbps 8bit codecs. Fujis just making better overall cameras in my opinion. And the design of them just makes then so much fun to use. I’ve used sony as well.

The X-T4 is also the size of a FF camera. Sensor size doesn't matter to much these days as much as how big of a lens you put in front of that sensor.

Just exchanged my A6300 for A6400 just recently and have filmed a few things off a USB battery pack. It's been great so far and the Samyang 12mm f2 with clear image zoom makes for a good combo.

It was the best until x-t4 :) and like x-t4 it is so expensive you start thinking if FF not will be better :D so i think SONY really should think about their prices, because everything is too expensive compare to rest.
That IBIS is really pretty awesome! Sony really knows how to make insanely powerful little cameras.

1. Filmmakers, you know, the ones that actually work/worked on movie sets and have experience with most tools.

In most cases, even 1080p 60fps is more than adequate, especially if the overall image quality is already very good.
What you would need more likely is an unlimited record time and long-lasting battery; something the XT-4 couldn't offer.

Nonsense though. I'd rather take the less impressive 1080p 60fps but be able to go all the way to 3 hours of non-stop recording than a 4K 60fps that's only good for 30 mins or less, and shootout time of under 3 hours.
Even for the price of those cameras, full-frame cameras already exist in their price range, so there's not even a point in getting an APS-C camera right there, so jokes on you.

DJ Joeflirt x100f sucks lol. We’re talking Fuji’s top cameras. Xt3, xt4, gfx50r, gfx100, xpro3. But focusing on Xt3 and xt4.. they both destroy most of Sony’s full frame hybrid cameras, sony’s aspc aren’t even in the equation. Specs, usability, customization, build quality etc. They blow a7iii away with video and take just as good photos. Really the only advantage is sony’s full frame low light and eye af. But other than that, the only sony mirrorless cameras fuji is struggling to compete with are the a7r3 and 4. But even then, fujis video codecs just destroy sony’s no 4k 60 or 400mbps 8bit codecs. Fujis just making better overall cameras in my opinion. And the design of them just makes then so much fun to use. I’ve used sony as well.

@@luludvega Full frame is not particularly great for video, you don't control your shutter speed, so the only way to get a cleaner image is by sacrificing depth of field.

Yeah, I really like the 18-135. I don't use zoom lenses often, but I was impressed with the quality to value ratio, so it's perfect for my needs.
