- Boots' adventures during week 6 and 7, April 9 to 22, 2022.
Each day we become more and more amazed by the physicality of a goat. Their bone structure. Their muscles. Their ability to move, jump, fly, and stick the landing. And Boots is only 2 month old!
Boots has discovered where to find a delicious buffet, aka our yard. He also loves to be warm; he hangs out on the heater register and loves his new puff coat. But his favourite hang out is on his human dad, Jeff.

He is so supercool. But sometimes I worry, he will feel lonely as the only goat around, that maybe he will need a (female) friend.
Boots lives quiet a different life than a herd goat. He has been by our side 24 hours a day since the day he was born . Other than a few weeks in the barn with his mom and other goats he’s not been bonded to goats just us and he has never shown any loneliness if anything he’s been the exact opposite 🥰🐐

This is so funny,I'm a Nigerian though,how you cope with the odour,in Africa we never let them indoors because of their smell.they are very strong, they don't eat much and then their survival rate from infancy is very high.surprise to see a leash on a goat going for a walk.
Boots is a weather so no male peeing on himself. He also isn’t in a barn so he’s not laying in soiled bedding. He is incredibly intelligent and learns extremely quickly.

Glad we could spread our joy with you. We can’t help but smile with Boots around. His mom took great care of Boots and his three brothers giving us ‘visitation’ time from day two. He is still being bottle fed with mom’s milk for another month. The special care he gets is lots and lots of ❤️
