    Looking at goats always cheers me up when I am sad. They have so much personality and joie de vivre. Nigerian Dwarfs are my favourite breed, I just love how they look! Boots is really something else. It's clear you've put so much time and effort into raising a lovely gentleman like him. I wish I could have a buddy like that! Amazing that he's potty trained, how did you accomplish that?

    • @highfiveadventures
      @highfiveadventures  2 дня назад

      Yes Boots has a lot of personality 😂. Thank you for commenting. Being with him 24 hours a day is definitely made our connection as strong as it is. He learned tricks and commands extremely fast and we just waited for him to go to the bathroom and gave it a command and a treat and he was trained in no time at all ❤️🐐

    The moment I saw this, I had to watch it. It's obvious how much you care for and love Boots, from all of the interaction with him, teaching him tricks, and challenging him to do new things (like try stepping into water). Some of my favorite moments was watching him drink his last bottle, the new trick in 60 seconds, watching him climb trees fearlessly, his curiosity when seeing deer, and also visiting the seniors. All precious. So, is Boots fully grown? I'm not sure how long it takes for Nigerian Dwarf goats to mature.

      We’re glad you are enjoying Boots adventures. He has been the same weight and height for the last 2 months so has he stopped growing? Or is he just in maintenance because of the cold winter temperatures? Not sure .

    Is potty training along with regular training a goat similar to dog training with the 4 quadrants of conditioning?

      No clue. We give a name to a behaviour and reward him.

      This video is by Nate Schoemer, a professional dog trainer and he explains the best most thorough way to train a dog backed up by scientific research from Russia by Ivan pavlov. If this can be applied to your goat, I might be tempted to get a dwarf breed type of goat too to be honest lol ruclips.net/video/XQRgci18tvY/видео.html@@highfiveadventures
