  • The first such table I made got crossed legs because it had to fit in a small room. But the design turned out good, so it's still there.

    Love your channel. What do you use for wood filler?

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  2 года назад

      Hi Todd and Maxine. Thank you!
      I fill larger cracks with the same glue I use to glue the wood. Pro 45P. It expands to solidify and fills in any cracks, only annoying after cleaning. Smaller cracks are fill with a mixture of wood dust and oil.

    I’ve been trying to work out what glue you use, Udo, but I’m stumped so I have to ask - what is that brown glue, please?

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Quirky. This brown glue is tinted brown with a soot. In fact, this glue is white. This is the Soudal Pro45P. It is a polyurethane glue, when it hardens it foams like construction foam, it fills all the cracks and joint gaps. Very suitable for outdoor furniture.

    • @quirkygreece
      @quirkygreece 8 месяцев назад

      @@udoaas2466 Thank you Udo - I noticed the foaming and appreciated it was also acting as a gap filler. As you say, an excellent choice for outdoor furniture and I shall be trying it very soon.

    You are using only linsed oil and wax to finish?

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  3 года назад +2

      Not just pure linseed oil and wax. The solvent is turpentine, a desiccant for polymerization and a fungicide to prevent mold.

    How did you make the foot of the circular machine with which you match the tips of the legs could you share a video about that thanks

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  Год назад +1

      Hello Josenicolas.
      I'm not really sure if I understood correctly. If you meant this saw - ruclips.net/video/JSJWzPSeyQE/видео.html, it's a regular hand circular saw, I put it on a post with a joint that can be adjusted in height. If I have time, I'll try to make a video about it.
