For those people who don't understand why others mourn the death of artists, you need to understand that these people have been a shoulder to cry on. My favorite rock band of all time. They've been family, friends, leaders, and role models. Many have taught me what i need to know and what to do when time get rough.
They've helped me move on.
They've pushed me out of bed.
They've helped me live when nobody else does.
They've pushed me out from my darkness, anger, and pain.
Artists have inspired me in endless ways and have been with me through stages in my lives. So when they die, a part of me dies.

@Kiflin this music makes us feel understood. I won't claim it alone saved lives, but it's been a contributing factor for so many of us. Knowing that we aren't the only ones who were crushed under unrealistic expectations and that if nothing you do is good enough it's not you, it was ALWAYS them.
@Kiflin Chester suffered a lot in his last years: the death of Chris Cornell, his best friend, a bad reception of One More Light album from "fans", his voice getting less durable, and a painful injury in 2014 or 2015 (on a tour so he might also had guilt over letting fans miss shows). Maybe he just thought everything was screwed up and just went to rest.

I was there in the crowd, still remembering like it was yesterday. With my cousins we were singing and screaming the whole night. Lost my voice the next day. And it was the best concert I've been. How I wished I could relive that special night again and again. Now we can only do with these videos. Thank you for the memories
Linkin Park was my teenage years, and Chester was like an elder brother to me. When he passed away, I felt like I lost someone very close. If you constantly listened to their songs, and also grew up on them, you understand what I mean.
No matter how old I am, I will always remember this band. These guys have a special place in my heart.
Meteora 20th birthday coming real soon. man These days felt like yesterday and things weren't the same anymore after Chester died . Linkin Park will go on like Beethoven ,Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beatles, Queen. Will always be remembered in Music history and no one , even the biggest storm cannot tarnish their legacy.

I'm growing on them right now. I first heard them back at my 14 shortly after Chester passed, and since then their songs kept hitting differently til this day. I think it's just hard to be in this world having so much soul, and he is and will forever be one of the most passionate vocalists of all time after he put his entire self in music...
just wanted to say thank you for all you have helped me with. I'm a Disabled Vet and was going in the wrong direction til I came across the old LP songs I use to get down to so much. They helped put music back into my life and allowed me to make the best of my newest song "Leaking" on here which is dedicated to Chester and Cornell(lyric video). I would love it if any of you could give it a listen. It would mean a lot. Thank you again for all you've done for me and everyone else.

Chester lives on forever through these captured moments so everyone can experience in some way the magic of listening to your favourite bands or artist live without auto tune or any of that. I miss him so much 😢. I miss this whole band terribly. I battle cancer late last year into half this year and I played these guys during it at home. Gave me great strength to fight. I would so love if these guys cut a single today. I've been a fan of ya'll for many many years and I think it's time for a comeback

Linkin park will be a biggest part of my life forever.
I'm still a teenager, and I've literally loved Linkin Park and been exposed to their music since I was very, very young. When I heard the news that Chester has passed, it broke me. I realized that I would never get a chance to see Linkin Park live; performances like these help me transport myself there, just a bit.

He was an awesome singer and group performer and he is truly missed by us all. It's really sad to see someone take their own life because they're depressed and think that no one loves or cares about them, but we could only hope and dream to have the thousands or millions of people love us as they did him.

One of my biggest regrets is skipping this concert. Being originally from the Caribbean, this would have been the first opportunity for me to see them live and I passed on it because I figured I'd get the chance again in the future. Boy, did I learn my lesson
Linkin Park has been my favorite Band since i was five years old, im 26 now and they are still my favorite Band. my greatest regret is not being able to see a live show when Chester R.I.P was still around, the closest i got was for my birthday my brother got my tickets to the Edmonton show that got canceled due to an injury. They've been my favorite band for as long as a I can remember. They were a major part of me and who I was, and i was in so much pain and even had a mental breakdown in the middle of class a few years ago,, when so much in my life had gone wrong all at once. I had to leave the class and I skipped lunch.. I wish Chester could've gotten the help he needed. He helped so many others. I can't express how much I care about him.

В то же время они улыбались, шутили, проводили время со своими родными и близкими. Радовали нас своим творчеством. Дарили эмоции и частицу себя. Были рядом в трудные моменты, когда рядом никого не было. Помогали пережить те или иные события в жизни.
У красивой жизни была и тёмная сторона. Депрессия. О ней не кричат, её не показывают. У депрессии нет лица. Алкоголь и наркотики помогали им забыться, заглушить боль, воспоминания. То, что они скрывали глубоко в душе. Помогали, но лишь на время. Рано или поздно, это всё заканчивалось трагедией.
Очень жаль, что им никто не смог помочь. Поддержать и протянуть руку помощи, когда они в ней нуждались как никогда.
Будьте внимательны, берегите себя и своих близких! 🤍

He’s my childhood hero. I’m 21 now but have listened to them since I was 14. I hold every album so close to my heart. I miss him all of the time and truly hope he is at rest. Probably one of the most talented alt voices I’ve ever seen in music. I love u Chester !!!
