It's cool that the 8-bit side is actually real NES code and the rom has been extracted for use on emulators and a real NES if you have the means to transfer roms to one. :)
Ok, I gotta say, I actually thought this was a remake of an old game! The 8-bit option looked so legit, it had me fooled, but nah! It's a legit modern game (which also launched for the NES, surprisingly enough!)
I don't think there have been any Nickelodeon games for the NES before this. The earliest Nick games I can think of are some Ren and Stimpy games, and they were all for SNES.
@@LevelUpLeo aye... even SpongeBob got his debut only on the GameBoy Color. Tho there's a fantastic fangame that emulates the style of a Hummer bootleg, Super SpongeBob 2. It's styled like an NES game, and even tho not made in that kinda engine, it looks spot on! On top of that, it's also pretty well designed!

I like that people extracted it, that is pretty cool. I'm also pretty sure that Limited Run released an NES cartridge version of it.
