- This HD version of Rugrats Adventures In Gameland looks just like the cartoon! Be warned that playing it zoomed in may cause you to fall to your death often though. The bosses force the camera zoomed out so you can watch as things fall on your head so fast it's hard to dodge. I had a heck of a time dodging in this, it feels like the hit detection is worse than the NES version. It's free on Epic Store so no harm in checking it out!

I'm not sure which is more hilarious: the metal version of the Rugrats theme, or actually using the nightmare of Angelica's aborted brother as a boss. For a series with literally no stakes most of the time, they were clearly desperate to find characters who could be enemies in the game and ended up scraping the bottom of the barrel in the best possible way.

Both versions to this game come across as “Babies’ first Wario Land” in all the right ways.
Hm. The art is splendid, the music is hideous-and out of place. Anyone recall Mark Mothersbaugh’s music from the chase scene in Angelica’s nightmare? It was so uncharacteristically dark (for the show) and would have fit amazing well for these boss scenes. Mothersbaugh’s cue was a masterpiece.
I'm unironically so excited to see people discover this game and rediscover how actually insane Rugrats could get at times.
Also, that thumbnail is A+ perfect.

The gorilla= Thorg.
Angelica's baby brother, while his name has never officially been mentioned, is often nicknamed "Big Boy Pickles."
The weaning bottle= Mr. Tippy.
The clown punching bag= Boppo.

I love the animation of Mr. Tippy's face in this game. Reminds me of Cuphead!

So many ideas for bosses and they never used that creepy clown robot toy called Mr. Friend?
Mr. Fiend does appear as a generic enemy, but why did the Dummi Bears and Mr. Boppo get picked over him?

Tbf it took another comment I saw to realize it, but the game kinda spoils it by Angelica saying she’s the boss in the beginning but it’s not til the final boss that we get context
