    Hey Lotus. I love how new friends of yours from the community have reached out to you with tips and suggestions, considering you don’t have a manual. The eyes actually look better in the more relaxed position. Keep up the great work. Cheers M

      Transformers and Video Games Thanks M. Yep he now looks much more laid back than before.
      I did compare to some other videos and this is the correct position for his eye lids to be in too. The community was correct and I appreciate the help. 👍

      SnowFlake Productions16 Thank you. Yeah it’s been a learning experience to figure it all out especially with cut hoses. I’m getting there slowly. 👍

    Are there still even manuals out there anymore for thee figures? Love the help that you got from a few people and now that I think about the character is does make sense that his eyes would be heavy-lidded. Good fix on it!
    Cheers, joe

      My Life In Collecting The manuals are very hard to find. I’ve seen them pop up on eBay here and there. For me I like the idea of Learning about how it all works by trial and error.
      Yeah he looks so much more relaxed now. Some of the characters have there eyes open, but Billy Bob is not one it them.

    This is a pretty cool series! took me a few days to find a channel that look over the mechanics of endoskeletons, I'm no engineer but seeing the cylinders moving the parts is really cool to watch. By the way, what are those black parts below the shaft/set screws collar under the eyes called?

    • @LotusStark
      @LotusStark  4 года назад +1

      Thank you . Yeah it’s been fun restoring him. They used three brass washers that slid onto the shaft of the eyeball.
      Under the first aluminum set collar is a second set collar that is welded to form a brace which is attached to both eyes. I’m not sure what black the part is called. 👍

    Do you have the manual?

    • @LotusStark
      @LotusStark  4 года назад +1

      C Martin I don’t have a service manual. All hoses were cut so I’ve been connecting the lines by trial and error along with learning how the direction of the air flows. I think I have the hoses connected correctly at this point.

      @@LotusStark Yeah, the manual is an interesting read. It has some helpful info and tips in it as well as angles and adjustment specs.

      C Martin Thank you, for now I’m going to see how far I can get by figuring out the problems as I find them. It helps me learn about how the character was engineered and why things were made the way they are. I find all of it interesting. 👍
