The Palm Garden Village Hotel is located in Anuradhapura 7kms west of the ancient city. If you are travelling from Colombo it is 202kms north. You can reach here on Puttalam - Anuradhapura highway.
It is built on a land of 50 acres with lush greenery and the villas are immersed in the greenery. It also features a large swimming pool, restaurants and a banquet hall.
You'll have to pass a couple of gates to enter the hotel and you'll see this welcoming elephant statue. As you move on, you'll start to see the main building through the trees which makes you feel like you are entering an ancient palace!
The buildings, structures, walkways and the surroundings will take you centuries back to the past.
Theme and architecture

The architecture is inspired by both ancient Buddhist monasteries and the grand palaces of ancient kings.
These grand structures, towering trees, and open spaces, create a soothing and serene atmosphere that can instantly put you at ease.
The interplay of light within the grand pillars of the hotel's interior produces a captivating atmosphere, evoking a sense of timelessness and spirituality. As you step inside, you'll instantly experience a warm and welcoming connection to the hotel. The serene ambiance, combined with a sense of ease, immediately envelops you, inviting relaxation and tranquility.

This building has put prominent elements from ancient monasteries and the palaces together. They blend seamlessly making you feel that you have entered an ancient monastery and a palace at the same time. High roof, space, colors, huge double pillars and the ambiance tells you the story which goes back to 400 BC. This is a masterpiece!

Spacious villas feature a cozy veranda. Inside, you'll find well-appointed bedrooms with either twin or double beds for your comfort.
