    This is the first time I’ve made my own cooked chickpeas into chocolate hummus! The texture difference is amazing, compared to using canned chickpeas! Thank you for the great video!

    Yummy 😋 chickpea recipes and my favourite recipe is Chickpea Tuna with curry powder and homemade vegan mayonnaise (made with the Aqua faba). Thanks Alissa for sharing and it's sunny ☀️ salad weather in Scotland and I am struggling to eat anything that isn't a salad. Love 🥰 the video and love 💗 Ali & family.

      Sometimes, it's the texture that gets people. This baking soda technique fixes that.

    I love, love, LOVE your videos and recipes!!! Any chance you can make a video on ways to use soft silken tofu? I bought a case of it... my first experiment was a complete success- mayo! My second experiment... ranch dip... yikes 😬 I definitely have more learning to do!

    Funny because I just made a bag of chickpeas from scratch for the first time. My kids loved the fresh hummus and chocolate hummus. Lol

      Just recently I found split chana dal. Chickpeas that are split and skins removed. It made good hummus. I can't be bothered to remove the skins either.

      @plantwhys the owner of Goya actively and publicly supported Trump. You might as well endorse an animal cruelty company. I would suggest any brand but his. In the future, perhaps you should not show the brand to avoid political discourse.

      I just use Shoprite store brand. A bag is about $1.60.
