Curious as to why more manufacturers of air cooled, using scrolls don't seem to utilize digital compressors more often ( i see them on large RTU'S ). Maybe they do, and i just haven't experienced them...but in my experience i dont see them.
They do but it is limited because most scroll machines are budget chillers. Using the digital scrolls would add costs vs going with a higher end more efficient chiller like a screw.

Carrier uses them on 60 tons and below chillers and all applied RTUs.
