Outro: Chopin - Etude Op. 10 No. 3 (Tristesse)
Hello, I'm Rousseau, I make piano covers of classical and pop songs with a reactive visualizer. New videos every Monday and Thursday!
#Rousseau #Piano #PianoCover
Chopin's Etude Op. 10 No. 1. The first of his Op. 10 set, and his first published Etude (written in 1829, meaning Chopin was only 19 years old, an incredible feat for a teenager). Dedicated to his close friend, Franz Liszt, who is said to have sightread these Etudes - at tempo - on first sitting. The piece is often given the nickname "Waterfall" due to the rapid RH arpeggios, though the main melody of the piece, contrasting to these arpeggios in a slow legato line, is taken by the LH. I hope you have an excellent Monday ♥
😍
Hi
leggo
J
Thanks again for making Monday better.
You should play Voices/Rustles of Spring by Christian Sinding
Legend has it, that if you’re left handed and you play this piece, you instantly become right handed
And if you play Ocean you become dual handed
This legend is true can confirm
Another legend suggests if you hit a wrong note and make it sound horrible you instantly explode.
GuitarSpit Pøø Spangles That ones false. I’ve done that too many times.
Well I'm actually left handed and it's much more easier for me to play with the right one :p
1:01 to 1:16 is my favourite part. It's so smooth, beautiful, full of emotion, and I could listen to it for hours.
Then you should definitely watch Forest of Piano
I HEAVILY AGREE!!!
it is kinda impressionist actually
I feel you so much so that these are the first notes that come to my mind whenever I start playing a piano or even just for a warmup. This part is magic and I honestly don’t think that my fingers will ever forget the movements since there is a sort of chemistry between the technique and the soul of their melody.
I like all the parts
Getting more and more close to 1,500,000!! One more pop cover before the special video - but it'll be the craziest pop cover yet - what do you think it is?
I can't even begin to imagine, there are so many it could be.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Logic and Eminem's -Homicide?
Dont do pop😑🙄
Crazy in love
this is the very first video I came across about classical music. I know this will get lost with all the other comments, but I want to say from the bottom of my heart that I am truly grateful. You introduced me to a whole new world of music and now I can't imagine myself not knowing classical music. You truly do change lives Rousseau and I'm not just saying this for attention. Keep the good work up!

*Now I'm gonna stop you right there*
its really not that difficult, ive learned the first quarter in 2 weeks and my previous hardest piece is grade 7 lmao
10/1 and 10/2 are the hardest in op 10, I can play 10/1 and I'm learning 10/2, but if you want to play these you must be very methodical about how you practice. In fact, even if you can play all the ballades you'll still have a difficult time with these two.
It takes months
It's not even difficult. Go see pieces from Liszt, such as La Campanella, la Rhapsodie Hongroise no 2 or Transcendental etudes no 4 "Mazeppa" and no 5 "feux de follets". Then you'll see what a hard piece truly means.
@@tonylelavallois5950 Well it's all relative. To an intermediate this is already quite hard. No comparisons needed, unnecessary

You thought it sucked? Everyone that’s watched it with a common interest in piano and anime liked it including myself. The only reason they had some 3D modeling scenes was because animating the fast movements on piano is difficult and not something lots of animation studios don't available to them in the production budget.

Chopin *WhAT Is A Rest!? *
Chopin: Oh a rest? Thats the left hand u see umm...
Impressive performance! The terrifying part about this song is the speed that Chopin set it at as well as the wide spans the right hand must make. Interesting note: this performance is played around 140 bpm. To get to the 176 bpm that Chopin specified, set this video to 1.25x speed.
My sheets say 144bpm
At that speed, i can't really feel any emotion. I like Tea Suengs tempo.
Interesting, mine says 176bpm as well
I much prefer it at 176 bpm, It has a different feel to it. Seong-Jin Cho's performance is probably my favorite,
Fell in love with this etude due to Forest of the piano, probably my most favorite chopin piece.
I’ve been practicing this piece for 1 year and can finally play the part with my left hand

OP 10 no 1 : yes
It is just mesmerising to watch the hand movements
1:01 이부분 너무 좋다
honestly the perfect piano exercise.. 😧😧
This is the best piece ever
I'm learning now this peace and my right hand is expanded 2x like before. An octave now looks like much smaller for me now... :D It takes a LOT of practice to play this!! It is very difficult to learn, but after that quite easy to play when you are enough confident to hit the right notes! It worth it! :)
And there we have Nahre Sol using a part of this as a warmup
And over there we have Ling Ling playing this with one hand while blindfolded
And there we have HR2, the end of an era
This is when synthesia shows you the visual aspect of the partition that you realise how well thought this is. Chopin, my man 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Random person: So how many arpeggios do you want?
Chopin: yes.
Atleast it's not like Liszt's compositions that you're required to play 16th notes at a extremely fast tempo and have octopus fingers.
I remember when Mariovereher called this a "Right hand excercise for pros"
